Lots of activity! The crockpot has been my best friend lately. I find a ton of recipes on Pinterest. I put everything in the morning and like magic supper is done. Its great for days I have appointments and don’t get home until late.
@MSWarrior7088
You are back to your normal today so you got this under control. We rented a cottage in two weeks and I no my weigh in probably won’t be great that week.
@Poobah1972
Awesome loss this week! Nice to see those trend lines.
@Tazaria87
Glad you had fun! Happy one year!
@Megan_smartiepants1970

No workout ...I was going to but I am very nauseous today ... I had eggdrop soup for lunch and I will be having chicken noodle soup for dinner ... no headache though but my neck hurts and as been for a while3 -
so 8k of steps today was a slow day at work. drank 2 liters of water and various cups of tea. Tomorrow is my allotted gym time after work....I had a bit of a NSV today also, I wore some work pants I couldn't do up 4 weeks ago....early night for me tonight so have a good one folks.
Great day! That’s an awesome NSV!1 -

Well I am not sure what happened this week but a loss is a loss. I have had a good few weeks but this week slowed way down. Hopefully next week will be better. I really didnt do anything different except I did do more kettlebells and less steps than I had been doing. Still getting more than 10,000 a day though.
Take care everyone!6 -

But the thing is the right amount is what ever amount you find is sustainable.. If you ain't having fun, it's hard to stick to it.
Do you think the pool weights have the same effect as gym weights? I have been doing them everyday. I am having a ton of fun in the pool. It’s great cardio and I have a smile the entire time.
If your having fun, and there is smile on your face while burning calories.... You've just won. Seriously anything you do to move your body is going to have a positive effect. 👍😎💪 And thank you.5 -

Yahooooo!!!! 😎🤗1 -
Good evening, Folks! 😃
It was a lazy day between hard work... Not sure what it is, but I could have just stayed in bed. But apparently something I ate turned me into a living compost heap, and I basically stank up the entire top floor so bad I had to get out of bed and seek better breathing conditions. My son also made a point to shame me, by taking the trouble to walk down 2 flights of stairs to the basement for the freebreeze, head back up spray the entire floor, then back down again and back up again... Like 8 flyghts of stairs. While letting me have it the entire time. lol. So yeah um, sorry? 😅
It's was back and bicep tonight...
Straight Arm Pulldowns 2 x 20 reps (Band Exercises)
Blue & Red x 20
Blue & Red x 20 (Going to have to move up to the Black Band) 😉
Bent Over DB rows 3 x 8-12
80lb x 10LH x 11RH
80lb x 12 each hand (with too many pauses and regrips)
80lb x 12 each hand (with too many pauses) Staying here next week. 😐😉
The rows were tough, I find I'm having a hard time holding the dumbbells and I lose balance using the Pepin handles which are much longer. I ended up using hooks for the first time on the last set, and it helped. But next time, I'm going to use the iron masters and try it without hooks... The IM's are much more balanced and the handle isn't quite as thick or long. Either way I'm staying here next week.
Lat Pulldowns 2 x 20
100lb x 20 Good
100lb x 20 Decent - Moving up to 105lb next week 😃
Seated DB Hammer Curls 2 x 12 - 15
28.5LB x 14
28.5LB x 14 - Close enough - moving up to 30lb next week. 🙂
EZ Bar Preacher Curls 2 x 12 - 15
57.5LB x 15 - Good
57.5LB x 15 - Barely but did it - Moving up to 60LB next week. 💪
Standing EZ Bar Curls 1 x 30
45LB x 30 - HELL YES, almost killed me, but I did it. Moving up to 47.5LB next week. 😎
Also worth noting... Lynn totally did her 30 reps like a complete boss. She's gotta move up too. 👍🤗
So, all in all, I pretty much killed everything... With exception of rows, which I moved up on starting off today, and I knew it was going to be hard at best. But to be moving up on everything else is amazing. Heck I just moved up to the blue and red band after being stuck on the blue and green for so long... And I was shocked to complete 2 sets of 20. So yeah, pretty much an amazing workout today.
And almost 2000 exercises calories in total today, so a pretty freaking awesome day all round. 🙂
Have a fantastic night guys, and sleep well. It's back to work tomorrow. DOH! 😐
🤗🤗🤗

Daily check in!
8/1 steps 7,205
8/2 steps 7,160
Logged food, stayed within my calorie goal, AND I ate two cookies! A win for the day!
Also went to spin class so I’m 2/3 on gym class goals for the week.
Tomorrow will be more difficult. I have a morning meeting at a really great Eastern European bakery. I’m hoping to take a long walk after work and catch up with my aunt on the phone and get in some extra steps. However it is monsoon season and (thankfully) we may get rain here in our drought-stricken high desert tomorrow. Back up plan - treadmill.

Thought I would say a good morning from sunny (not) brit land and I'm off to work for a 10 hour shift (urgg) then gym ...I love the gym thought I don't think my face shows it while I'm there lol...see you on the flip side, have a fantastic day all!3

Good evening all.
Lots of amazing step counts out there. It looks like everyone is working hard this month.
Check in for 8/2:
Steps - 4525. Walked the parking lot waiting for daughter to get off work.
Calories - 1750. Finished off some ice cream to make room in the freezer and had another boston cream cake piece. Ate a dry salad for lunch and chicken cordon bleu with steamed vegs for dinner. Nice and light in this heat.
Exercise - not happening. I was going to go for a walk until I opened the door and got gobsmacked by the heat. First day of 100 here and it won't be going away for a week or more. Guess its time to start walking by 630am again.
Thanks for the lifting info, poobah.
I don't need my shopping and car wash turned into steps, megan. Thank you for the offer. Good luck with your headaches and nausea.5 -

Good morning team! Back on track for a whole day yay! Let’s hope I can keep this up lol. I’ve been working out with a friend of mine and I’m loving it so much. She takes her workouts as seriously as I do and we help each other and give each other tips etc. I enjoy doing it on my own but I also love spending this time with her. We are so likeminded and love to push each other and always promise to go all the way to the end. No quitting.
I’ve also been enjoying making my own bagels here at home with a skinnytaste recipe. So easy to make and my whole family loves them. I’ll post a photo and link here if you are interested.

Good Morning, 😃
It's back to work for me momentarily. Oh yah... Meh.... 😣😐😆
4:30am the alarm went off this morning, and man oh man was that little voice inside my head trying it's best to convince me to... "You know what, you could use a day off", "Sure you worked hard, go ahead stay in bed", "What's one day off, heck it's your first day back to work, why torture yourself", etc etc etc. I figure I was just a few smidgens away from going with the idea... But nope, I bolted straight up and sat on the edge of the bed, and said "Not Happening Mr. Slacker!".
So, preceded to get my *kitten* in gear. I decided yesterday I would do some Elliptical this morning... And Elliptical I did. I also decided right from the start of my session today, that I wasn't going to try and break any records, and on top of that I wasn't even going to push myself hard. I'm just not going to stop, and I'm not going to pause it. I'm just going to go steady the entire time. And fairly early on, I was pretty sure I was going to do an extra 5 minutes to make up for the fact I wasn't going to go hard. Turns out the extra 5 minutes was perfect as it got me right to the end scene of the movies I was watching. And I think the movie really helped keep my attention away from the ticking clock, which is nice. I don't feel guilty at all, plan followed. 👍🤓
Silly me forgot to start the exercise on my Fitbit again.. But Autosense worked pretty well this time, capturing 33 minutes. So, I probably got scammed out of 2 minutes, but that's life. lol. All in all, my average heart rate was good, and the extra 5 minutes probably out burned the lack super intensity. Judging by my sweaty factor, it was a great session, because I was drenched. 🙂
No weight training tonight... So literally the hardest part of the day is already done and it's smooth sailing for the rest of the day! 😀
Each and every decision you make shapes the life you live? So, what decision will you make today? 🤓
I'll catch up with you guys shortly... (Bagel's look amazing as does the cooker of said bagels lol!) 🤗😊👍

@lmf1012
Great steps!
@amymartin555
Congrats on the loss! You had some big losses in July so a smaller loss can be expected. In fact you were in the top three for 4/5 weeks in July and you had the highest percentage loss for the month on our team. That is impressive!
@Poobah1972
You and Lynn crushed your back and bicep workout. Your workout calories for the day is insane!
@mthomas0228
Great check in!
@MSWarrior7088
That’s the way to do it! Awesome steps!
@Jpedn
Good morning to you! Impressive! Gym after a 10 hour workday!
@rwood566
Look at all those check marks! You are back in the game. It’s nice to have a friend to workout with. How many calories in your bagel? They look delicious!

@lindamtuck20 Thank you. And I'm not sure if it was me that typo'd or someone else. But my monday weigh in was 383.8 not 383.6 so my loss for the week is 2.8 pounds, not 3 pounds.1
