    Friday, August 6th

    No, No, No

A day with no real plan for what I was going to do, and a day of needing groceries, so I ended up reverting to previous bad habits, feeding the hunger and filling the "what to do next" void with garbage food. And it always seems to be right before a weigh-in....

    Water: 8 cups
    Steps: 4,031

    WEIGH-IN

    Saturday, July 31st: 179.2
    Saturday, August 7th: 179.8

lots of yard work yesterday got me up in steps AND our yard looks so nice!

    Sat 8/7
    Steps: 8051
    Water: 80+

Having a slow lazy morning today and trying to figure out whether to do a lap swim at the Y, a walk, a bike ride, a cruiser bike ride, a yoga class, or more yard work...or some combination of these. I should write them all on slips of paper and pull one out of a hat. Instead I'm doing NONE of them because I can't decide!

@annabananamc I totally get this, this morning! I was supposed to go mow for my mom today, but the weather is going to be crummy! I decided I would do one of my strength challenges but have been binging TWD this morning. Once I finish my fruit snack, I'm going to do my workout while I binge the show, so I'm a little more productive this morning!

I vote you swim and get a yoga workout in! :)

No, No, Yes, a 53 minute walk around town after we got ice cream.

water: 8 cups (I like to have more)
    steps: 9,238

We went to our friends' house for dinner and then ended up going into town (right on Lake Erie) for ice cream and a walk on a beautiful summer night. I haven't seen them in person since the end of September of last year, and they only live about a 45 minute drive from us! Thank you, Covid.... But, a lovely evening with absolutely no regrets!

    Sunday 8/8
    Steps: 3142
    water: 80+

I wish it was as easy to exercise as to drink water in hot hot Florida summers! I ended up just doing errands yesterday and nursing a pulled muscle in my upper back/neck that has been messing with me for a few days (back of the head headaches like crazy) I did some googling and learned that the mechanism that turns your head and holds it up is all muscles and tendons. Everywhere else that turns that much is a join. No wonder my neck gets tired and sore holding that bowling ball up all day!

Today, it's MONDAY and I am up early and putting on my walking clothes and heading out the door first thing. It's just now light enough and if I wait even 15 minutes longer I'll not go...so ttfn!
