    Thursday August 5. 6:47 pm
I started my day at 5:00 am
    20 minute stretch video
    40 minutes swimming laps
    Work involved 10,258 steps
Up and down the stairs 21 times.
Calorie count under 1400.-so far- I might have a little treat before bed.
Tomorrow is weigh in day for me. Im hoping for the scale to make a downward nudge.

    Calories - under
    Alcohol - AF

    Fri, Aug 6
    Journal - done
Walk - no, steps ?, bowled 3 games
Calories - no (too much candy!)
Alcohol - no (planned and did not go overboard)

My Fitbit got wet... stopped working, thought I was going to have to buy another, but miraculously started working again late last night!!! :)

I am going to add sleep to my daily goals, it has been a bit evasive this past week. :(

    week 1, Sat, Aug 7
    PW: 166.2
    CW: 167.2 (+1.0) :s

I did so well last week with my walking and food, (except for yesterday)... just couldn't get the scale to budge, only kept seeing small increases. A bit frustrating, hoping it is just adjusting to my added walking, maybe I am gaining some muscle and water weight??? I hope so... keeping it going and hoping to see a loss next week. (giving up never got you anywhere)

    This weeks daily goals:

    Journaling: all food and beverages
    Walking: 40 min, 8-10k steps
    Calories: staying under
    Alcohol: moderation
    Sleep: 6-8 hours

Our team is looking great! Sorry I have been MIA the last couple nights; we have had a couple social events and parties, very busy. Back to regular check in's this week.

Last call for week 1 weights!

Thanks for sending; since week 1 ends on Sunday when Ashley runs the weights, I can't update this weight in--hopefully that makes sense. Just be sure to send your week 2 weight on time, so you don't get dropped (2 weeks without weights). Thanks!

    mid-week check in:
Today, finally, I swam!! It's been one month since my surgery, and my incisions are all healed. I wasn't sure how far I'd be able to swim, but I swam 900 yards no problem. I feel so much better now than before I swam. I will slowly build back up to ~1,800 yards and add walking, resistance training and yoga.
    Have a good week, everyone!

It seems like there’s quite a few in this group that enjoy lap swimming as a favorite exercise. Chime in if you’re one of the swimmers.
