I took my bike for a short spin this morning just to check it out. I felt like the handlebar was too low so my son and I spent the next half hour trying to figure out how to raise it. Eventually I called the bike 800 number and they told me they it isn't adjustable. What? I will take another ride tomorrow to check it out, but unfortunately I might have to return it. Ugh.
Diet and exercise is going great--hope everyone else is hitting their stride too!4 -

I have started using Noom about one month ago and in really like the platform and I've been eating much healthier.... But I still cannot see to get into the 130s... (I would like to say that I am 4' 11" tall, so my fat percentage is high for my height.)6 -

Also feeling a bit stuck. I've been trying to focus on making sleep a priority this month but thought I've been eating relatively well.5 -

Friday, August 13
- Exercise: 6km walk
- Net calories: 1234
- Vitamins: yes
My day didn't start out the best. I had to go to the grocery store, which is always the worst place to be. I am pretty good at not buying anything I don't need, but sometimes I have a weak moment. Today was one of them. I bought 2 fresh Italian buns and two chocolate croissants. After eating one of each, I had a "what are you doing?" moment. Not healthy, not what I want to eat, a lot of calories (especially the croissant). Now, I really, really do not like food waste. But sometimes, I think throwing things away is still the better choice to make. Both make me feel bad, yet eating it would be worse. Of course I always aim for this not to happen, and thankfully it doesn't happen often because I am careful with what I buy. Yet today I threw away the other bun and croissant.
And to turn the day around a bit more, I went on a walk. I am very thankful to have nature so very close to my home. This walk starts in the town center, so I can just begin from my doorstep. There were lots of butterflies, dragonflies and a couple of frogs. It was fairly warm, but not too sunny and there was a breeze so it was a very nice day for a walk. I got a headache later in the day so I had to nap again (boo), but overall today turned out alright.
Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.5 -
WHEW, I've never been so glad to finish out a week. It was BUSY and stiflingly hot all week...UGH! I'm getting ready to fix some leftovers and then lie down and read a book tonight! I walked indoors today because the heat index was 105...had my 6k steps done before 3pm! YAY!
Hope ya'll have a wonderful weekend planned...relaxing is the best!

Definitely feeling the effects of Friday the 13th. Those cardiac CT scan results that were so terrific a few days ago? The doctor who called me had interpreted the results wrong. I am actually at high risk for a cardiac event and need to go on medication. Scared. Upset. Shocked. Not the best day.7

Not the best week, not the worst. No working out but got a few long walks and a 7 mile horseback ride in. My eating was not great, a few days where I ate almost nothing. Ate part of a calzone, so a true cheat. Today I had a seafood omelette with fruit which is technically keto but not the clean eating like I've been doing. My results have definitely slowed down, and my hunger has increased quite a bit. Goal for this month is 191/192 so we'll see if I get there. 😬5 -

Yeah…can’t really express how shocked and upset I was. To go from “top 93% of people your age for heart health” to “bottom 7% of people your age for heart health” was quite a blow 😞. Haven’t spoken to the family doctor who gave the wrong results yet. Waiting for her to return my call. Have been communicating directly with the cardiologist instead5 -

Oh my gosh I'm so sorry!! That is such devastating news. I'm assuming medication like high blood pressure meds? My husband has been on those since he was 30 due to genetic risk. It doesn't make that much of a difference to his daily life and I know it's possible to come off of them eventually. Hopefully that is the news you get, and then you can concentrate on self care and let others carry the heavy emotional lifting for awhile.3 -

Sorry team, but to be expected as went out last night for the first time in months with my friend.Had italian meal & didn't make good choices but really didn't care at the time. When I logged it in my diary lasagne & cheesy garlic bread & had not to mention the merlot wine & a few G & Ts I knew I would be heavier this morning.

I am super happy to make this announcement!
The ever wonderful co-captain of Team WeightNoMore has accepted to be Fat2Fit's newest Moderator
Welcome Ashley @minstrelofsarcasm and thank you for your willingness to help out with the work that goes into building our community here and keeping the teams active and successful. As always, the Moderators are there to help all the members from every team whenever there is a problem, a suggestion for something new, a request for changes of any kind. Ashley is an excellent team captain, and will bring all kinds of skills to this new role. Congratulations!
I am also sending a huge amount of gratitude to @Beka3695 for her many years as Moderator. She mentored me when I moved up, and has been a supportive (and fun!) friend. Beka has decided to take a break and stick with her team and family during a busy time. Let's all wish her the best!4 -

Thanks Lacey. Good to know about the high blood pressure meds. That is part of the suggested plan, along with a few other meds, so it’s good to know it doesn’t make much of a difference. Heading out on a short vacation tomorrow, so going to try to be chill for a while 😎2 -
@Waifer003 Sorry to hear of the Cardiologists "opposite" report...hope that family doctor calls to explain and apologize...that's very unfortunate. BUT, it sounds like you have your head on straight and hopefully this little short vacation will help you gain perspective and clear your head. As a few have said, these meds can be temporary if you make a good plan and begin to work it diligently. I'll be praying for you...I hope to come off my BP meds someday too...long journey ahead...
Take care of yourself and love on the fam for a few days...that ALWAYS helps...

So much fun on the Delaware River yesterday. 8 sets of rapids. Lots of new friends. And my arms are sore/tired, so that's always a good thing; it means that they worked! I also moved into Onederland this week, so that's a thing, right?

@Waifer003 😩
Oh my goodness, how unprofessional, you would think that sort of mistake couldn't happen??? So hard to take in I bet? Hope you get it sorted & have the correct meds & advice to control it.2 -

- Exercise: 40 minutes deskbike
- Net calories: bad
- Vitamins: yes
Caved and ordered food for the first time in 3 weeks. Happy I managed to go without for so long, sad I failed and did it again. Spent 40 minutes angry-biking behind my computer to try to minimize the damage (yeah right). Besides that, today was a home day. Cleaned up a bit and did laundry. I plan to get up really early tomorrow to go for a walk and see if the moor here is in bloom.

Diet coke or diet Pepsi..🤮🤮🤮 to both🤣
I don't drink pop but I absolutely hate diet drinks. My dad used to drink diet coke so if I really wanted a pop growing up I'd steal one of his but🤮
I can't juggle to save my life🤣 but can ride a unicycle... Not well or anything though lol
