This week has been crazy, filled with late nights at work & early mornings and deadlines and stress. I also recently found out that I'm pre-diabetic and I SO don't want to go down that road so I'm grateful for this loss. Gotta keep it going!!3 -
@Pupowl Tiny step back, but you're right...next week will be better!!
@izzyred9400 Got your daily step goal adjusted and put you on the roster for Sept. I can't imagine not having a car, but that WOULD certainly add more steps, wouldn't it?! You must live and work fairly near each place...that's awesome!
@DreaRN15 Nice loss this week!!! WTG and I agree with you ..."don't go down that road"...I'm with ya!
@JoDavo66 Enjoying all your classroom pics...brings back memories of my student teaching days...hope you have a peaceful week...as much as that is possible!
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend so far!

Here's this week's THIS or THAT! Please use the original chart below and highlight your answers. Also, choose ONLY ONE answer for each one...no BOTH or NEITHER responses! If any of the entries leave you with a thought or a story to share, please do so.
Enjoy! Can't wait to read your thoughts this week!

Apologies all...just realized when I looked at my This or That template file that I forgot to post one last Saturday...not one person asked about it, so I'm guessing you guys don't enjoy them as much as I do. So, I'll use up the last of the ones I've made by the end of Sept and I'll stop posting them. Just another attempt to get creative and get you guys to TALK TO ME! Hint, hint...but we have a team that's on the go and no time but to paste their weigh ins...I get it.
I'll go with the flow and let ya'll just keep running busy!

REMINDER...
Missing 5 weigh ins from this week...please report in by end of today because stats will begin first thing on Sunday morning (early)...thanks all!

Disappointing week for me. I was really hoping for a loss. I moved more, ate less. Oh well on to next week4 -

I do like the “this and that” and like reading peoples responses. Unfortunately story telling isn’t my thing so I can never think of anything to write.
I also did notice there wasn’t one last week and figured you were busy

This was a tough one for me. I’m not an adrenaline person and tend to get hurt in the most ridiculous ways. So I’m a big no on horse back riding ATVs, bungee jumping and parachuting.
I once sprained both ankles within a week of each other. One falling down stairs and the other stepping out of a shed.
I do love the beach especially an ocean beach.1 -

I am sorry to hear you are frustrated by the lack of activity from members here. I always do my best to post daily as I think that's how I get the most use out of this group. I appreciate all the time and effort you put in to reply and get people to engage.
For me personally, I don't always join in with the this or that because often there are options I can't pick between or things I don't eat/drink. Maybe we can come up with something new for the week? Sharing non scale victories, areas we have seen improvement in, something we are proud of (that happened in the previous week)?2 -

I once went horseback riding and my horse fell down. True story. Don’t think I’ll be getting back into the saddle anytime soon 😂1 -

@Pupowl The tricky thing about This or That's is everyone assumes they understand the questions, but truth is, all you have in the choices are the answer...you can't control the answers, you can only control the questions, so when you look at the list of answers, remember that you control the questions...what if in looking at Bungee jump vs parachuting, the writer was thinking, "which do you fear the most?"...not "which would you do"...that's where the comments/stories are so important...you get the chance to control the question and explain why you chose what you did. IT'S ALL ABOUT PERSPECTIVE!
Hope this helps...

Saturday, August 28
- Exercise: Cleaned the house, otherwise no
- Water: 4100 ml
- Steps: 8.508 / 7.500
- Vitamins: yes
Good morning team. I had a quiet, yet still busy Saturday because I decided to clean the whole house. I also changed my bedsheets and did 3 loads of laundry. My cat was a little whiney and I ended up taking him out for a walk 10 times. My Fitbit gave me 475 calories burned for my work. Sadly, I ate too much, though the damage on the scale this morning was minor. I got my new shakes with higher protein, so I hope those will also help with my weight loss.
After my day, I was ready for some good sleep, but there was a party outside a little ways from my house. They weren't super noisy, but still enough to make falling asleep a bit challenging. I got up at 7:55 this morning, which for me is late, but I am very excited to start September and do better.
