@trooworld - Oops! Here is the chimi recipe. Disclaimer- I made my own chicken filling because I did it on the fly. I was very pleased with how these turned out- crispy/crunchy on the outside. I think you could put any taco type filling in there and it would be a great way to jazz up leftovers.

@trooworld, I really agree that it’s not a good idea to focus on the scale every day. I weigh every day and record the data but I try not to get too frustrated. Yesterday I was down and then I ate pasta salad and went up a pound. I’m sure I’ll be back down tomorrow. I hope you had a good time at boxing and that you didn’t have to run. :)

@Cornanda Yup, I used to sleep so much better when I was young and now if I can get two straight hours before waking up I’m calling it a win. Yum for chimichangas! I put that one on my Pinterest board for a future dinner! ;)

Hi Team! Today has been a fairly quiet and lazy day. It’s the start of college football and my sweet husband has been glued to a TV since noon and his favorite Georgia Bulldogs don’t even play until 7:30 pm. So I’m on my own! I did some Bible study, worked on my puzzle while binging Dr. Ted Neiman, who I LOVE!!! <3 And this evening I will hang out on the sofa and watch General Hospital. I’ve been accumulating episodes for football season. :D I did well with eating, sugar, and exercise today. :)

    @tammymccrady6278 Welcome to the group!

I'm way behind! I'm pretty sure the anti-convulsant the pain clinic put me on is what's causing my stomach issues, I read it can happen at the beginning but it's been 5 weeks and I'm still having a rough time plus I've been really anxious, I can't go completely off it or I could have seizures (help, it's booby-trapped, I'm stuck on it!) so I'm tapering but I'm way calmer on the lowest dose, it just hasn't helped my stomach yet. It was causing female issues too which makes my pain worse so I have LESS pain on less of it. Anyhow, I'm having great workouts, not sure why but I've been doing full body seated cardio instead of just arms and I feel a lot stronger after two weeks of it. Doing good with no sugar aside of coffee creamer, I don't have much of an appetite but my neighbor keeps BBQing sweet Asian chicken and it smells really good when I'm watering the plants. I stopped drinking Diet Pepsi with all the stomach issues and don't really miss it, it's here because my ex-boyfriend drinks it but it's not tempting me at all which is abnormal.

Keep up the great work team!

    Sunday weigh in
    leayjw
PW: I initially put 128lb but is it possible to change it to 124lb? changed scale and the values are different omo
    CW: 124lb

just wondering guys! quite a newbie when it comes to health stuff, do you put in the morning or night weight bc I tend to put my night values oops, life update its prelims week here in Singapore for the graduating batch and its been a mess completely neglected my healthy exercise and eating habits so really hoping to get that back on track because my mental health always takes a hit when my physical health isn't so good.

also got rly demoralised when I went out to eat with my family as I felt really conscious and I guess I rly dont want my confidence to be affected so much anymore and I dont want my mum to worry so I really need to start taking action :")

community here is really encouraging though thanks everyone !!! we will all make it

@tammymccrady6278 @cherrymajoni Congrats on the losses!

@Cornanda Thank you for the article on insomnia. It was interesting. For some reason, I wasn't able to see the comments. Maybe because I have an ad blocker on my computer? Thank you for the chimichanga recipe, it looks great!

@TeresaW1020 Yeah, I focus too much on the scale. I did enjoy boxing, it was hard but there was no running so I was happy! LOL Sounds like you had a good day yesterday.

@Katmary71 Sorry about the anticonvulsant issues, I'm sure the point wasn't to cause you more pain so it sucks that it did.

@leayjw I'd say put in your weight at whatever time you want, just be consistent. I personally put in my weight in the morning and always do the morning. I'm sorry about the incident with your family, that stinks. Hugs to you!

Hi all. I had a pretty good day yesterday. I hope to repeat today. I need to cook my breakfast for this next week today or tomorrow. Other than that, I am going to a friend's for dinner and that should be fun.

Morning all…..it really great reading all the posts and seeing I’m not alone in the ups and downs of trying to lose weight. Just want to say hope everyone has a great day today and remember none of us are perfect and we all have good and bad days. Though the scale didn’t show too much of a change yesterday which had me down in the dumps I then showered and put on a pair of jeans that I couldn’t even do up a while ago and yippie they fit great. So I guess my body is changing even though the scale isn’t doing much. That made my day. Well I am off to bed as I’m nightshirt and just got home not long ago. Have a good one guys.

    Hi,

I will have to step out on this week's and maybe next weeks weigh in.

I am unfortunately sick and my top priority right now is eating plenty of nutritional food and getting lots of rest to help my body fight this virus. I will not be eating at a deficit or exercising during this time while my body is healing itself. Wish me a speedy recovery so I can jump back into this weight loss challenge.

Thank you guys for keeping me motivated in the last few weeks, can't wait to be back in action.

@Katmary71 It sounds like things are slowly getting better with the medication. I do hope your stomach issues improve soon. Yayy for doing so well on the no sugar challenge and giving up Diet Pepsi. I gave up Diet Cokes except for when I go out to eat, which is rare. Now I’m just obsessed with flavored seltzer waters. Much healthier for sure! If my neighbors were grilling something so yummy smelling I would have to plug my nose. :D

@leayjw I’m sure @broncobuddee can change your weight. Your weight is pretty low already. Do you mind telling us what your goal weight is? How tall are you? I’m only saying this because we often view ourselves in a much more negative light than others view us. I sometimes still have a hard time believing that I look any different after losing 80 lbs. until I see pictures of myself that I can compare with my heavier photos. I weigh myself first thing in the morning, after using the bathroom, and before putting clothes on. :)

@trooworld I’m glad you had a good time with the boxing. What are you cooking for your breakfast? :)

@tammymccrady6278 I love that your jeans fit great and showed you that it’s not only about the scale! Body recomposition is a very real thing and is why taking measurements and photos is important. And fitting into smaller clothes is always awesome! B)

@mcmart11 Ohhh I am so sorry that you are sick! @broncobuddee can move you down to the cheer squad and you tell us when you are ready to get back to recording your weight. Please let us know how you are doing from time to time. <3

Hi Team! Today has been a good day. Church was good and Sunday school with the kiddos was fun. After lunch hubby and I went to PetSmart to get some dog food that we hope our little mutt will eat. They quit selling her dog food and she won’t eat anything. Except her treats of course!

Made it thru the weekend ... a long day trip on Sat with 2 meals out and monthly book club pot luck on Sunday ... without going over calorie allowance. Pleased with the good choices I made. Will have to see if this will hold true while I am gone next weekend to a 3-day music festival. After that. It should be pretty smooth sailing until the holidays.

Well back from the lake. Camper all packed up. Just have to run down tomorrow to bring back more stuff. I have to drive all week for football so will be getting my walks or runs in every morning. After unpacking from lake and all the laundry it’s going to be an early night. 5am will come quickly

@leayjw Thank you, I was assuming you weren’t very tall but I wanted to make sure. There have been people with eating disorders on Fat2Fit in the past and it’s something we moderators try to pay attention to. You just keep working on your health both physically and mentally and you will hit your goal for sure. :)

@19shmoo69 Hey! I am glad you are feeling better. Of course, you can return. Just post your weight on your weigh-in day and @broncobudde will get you on the spreadsheet. :)

@jan110144 Good for you for making it through the weekend. You will do fine next week. Just plan for it and make sure you dance around a lot.

@trooworld That recipe looks great! I wish my mom liked sweet potatoes. :/

@renaegry Have a great week! How old is your son? :)

Hi Team! Not much going on today. I did a good workout and then went grocery shopping. I watched several of the speakers on the Quit Sugar Summit that is going on this week. My favorite was a woman named Kristy McCammon who lost 150 lbs. She has a website called Life Unbinged and I plan to spend time reading her blog. She also has a YouTube channel. I love following people who inspire me.

    @19shmoo69 Welcome back Darren!

Not much new on this end, had a mellow day and restocked up on salad stuff to up my nutrition. My workouts have been great despite all the health issues! I have the food bank farm in the morning. My ex is taking his sweet time moving out, it's frustrating me but I'm trying not to let it affect my health. That's about it here, have a great week gang!

Morning all….missed yesterday checking in to see how the day went for people. Was with the in-laws at their farm celebrating my mother in law’s 85 birthday. Did a lot of walking around the farm. Enjoyed myself a lot. Today is all about gardening lol. Ripping out the entire front bed and replanting things in other beds adding some new and just getting then all ready for winter. Hope everyone has a great day today

@jan110144 That's awesome. Yeah, I got really bored during COVID too, not quite unbored yet lol!

@renaegry Back to routine is good.

@TeresaW1020 That's too bad she doesn't. What's not to like about them? :D

@Katmary71 That's awesome that you've been having great workouts. Sorry about the ex.

@tammymccrady6278 Sounds like a great day yesterday. Good luck with the gardening.

Hi all. Yesterday was nice: I read for a lot of it and that's about all I got done lol. Today is back to work.

Just a quick question to everyone out there cause I just am new enough on my fitness pal that I’ve just figured out how to except friends and ask for friends has anybody noticed that people use this as a pick up place I’m getting some personal questions and endearments that I just don’t appreciate and I end up unfriending them not on this chat but on the main chat of my fitness pal are they just being friendly or are they really just using this as a dating site

@tammymccrady6278 What are you going to put in for winter? Yes, some people use this is a dating site, I don't get it often because I don't have a picture on my profile but the women that do get it a lot. Just be direct or unfriend them. Some women don't accept male friends but I have some good ones so I haven't ruled them out.
