Had a low key family day yesterday. Attempted to Play pickle ball with the kids. My daughter kept us laughing through this. Grabbed sandwiches and ate by the water. My sandwich was huge so I ate half and brought the rest home.
I am still deflating from vacation, yes I have been back a week. Still 2 lbs up as of this am.2 -

Seeing as it's Tuesday, and my knees and feet felt pretty good in spite of a long walk on Monday... I went ahead and had another long walk this morning. 😛
Turns out it was probably too long, or i need to consider getting up at 3:45am, and I don't think that's reasonable. 😲🤔😆
My feet and knees are officially now knackered. And I'm not 100% certain, but it feels like I may have developed a blister on my big toe. I still have to go upstairs have a shower and check it out. 🕵️♀️🦶
I've already called in to work to let them know I'll be 30 minutes late this morning... So, I better get going. Heck I'm going to make that a HOT shower, because it seems after an especially large calorie burn, I tend to get the chills. Brrrrr....
I'm pretty proud all in, I walked 10 miles since Saturday... which is great. I'm also pretty convinced I could handle a 2-way hike for a total of 5.5+ miles now. ( assuming I don't have nasty blister of course 😜 )
So, the next few days will be easy on the legs... Elliptical Wednesday and some sort of boxing Thursday!!! 😎😀

Oh and yes I have confirmed I have a rather thick blister started on the bottom of my left big toe... Any expert advice on how to remedy blisters? (or this may put me out of commission at some point?) 😬

Hey guys, I don't quite have the energy for a full check in. I've been hit pretty hard with a head cold. Went to the zoo over this vacation weekend. It was busy but fun.

A very enjoyable day off for Labor Day... Went for a run for the 1st time in almost 3 weeks, which made for a very happy day! Got my weekly grocery shopping done, read a good bit, soaked in the tub, & a finished the day with a family movie night.

Good morning everyone. I wrote a post last night but I guess I didn't hit send...again.
Check in for 9/6:
Steps - 4572. It's very close to that if I am wrong. Trying to use my recall from last night.
Calories - 1470. Very low for me but I didn't feel like dessert.
Exercise - washed the car. Was going to the gym but gut had other ideas. I will either do a long walk or gym today.1 -
Just got back from a 136 minute walk..5.84 miles and burned 733 cals ...Felt good to get out there but my hip (stupid hip dyplasia) and my tailbone hurt2

I'm really happy with that. Still not exercising much but the back-at-work movement must be helping!
A friend told me yesterday that her indoor pool is open and she may be allowed visitors! So I'll hopefully be going swimming every so often with her which is nice!
Thanks for excusing me in the step challenge, Megan! Once I get moving regularly I'll get back to it!

In any case I weighed today at 267 (began at 274) so I'll take it! More importantly I went from a 19.5" neck to 19" and waist from 55 to 53. Appreciate the support and accountability!3 -

I just finished saying to my husband I am going to be up 10 pounds from our vacation. I know you travelled by airplane and that can cause water retention. May take a week or two to settle.0
