Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day?
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?

Exercise – yes – 30 minute bike ride, gym workout some cardio work
Tracked – yes – so far, breakfast, lunch and snacks
    Calories – yes so far

I’m writing this early in the evening before going out. I will be eating but also dancing. I have about 700 calories left now for dinner but anticipate having another 100- 200 calories for the dancing. I have just had a big bowl of fruit with a low fat yogurt – which is my usual dessert – this should help to avoid pigging out at dinner. I find it makes it easier to make sensible choices if I’m not too hungry. I shall not have any roast or fried potatoes, but I will have green veg if available. I know from previous experience of this venue that there is usually very little veg, but there may be some salad greens. And obviously, no dessert!

I haven't been very vocal on here recently - I found Christmas and New Year very hard - our first since my son died in March 2021. That's our last anniversary/celebration before we get round to March 18th. Hoping this gets easier.

Also hope it gets easier for u ur dil and grandkids. Xo

Hello UAC friends old and new, sorry I’m late for January but I’ve realised that my plan of eating intuitively in January just wasn’t working out (I seem to intuitively need cake and chocolate!). I’ve always felt great when I’ve been sticking to the UAC rules so I thought I had better return! I dropped out late November dealing with a long covid flare up, then got actual covid again mid December. But, I feel great now (just a bit round after Christmas indulgences).

Just tracking today has made me realise that my holiday eating habits needed checking.
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes - two dog walks and 30 mins on elliptical, 20 mins yoga
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Just about!
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes

@lesdarts180 enjoy your night out, it sounds like you are very prepared for it. Christmas must have been very tough without your son, hope those grandchildren helped you through a little.

The next couple of months are going to need me to focus as I am on extended leave from work while my husband has surgery for neck cancer, I need to look after myself so I'm in the best possible shape to look after him.
We all have each others back, so if you are on the struggle bus, don't fret this time will pass ❤️

@roma7774 very clever plan, sounds like a tough time u guys are going through. I hope it all goes well and yep ur spot on if u look after urself 1st it will assist with you being able to hve the mental and physical strength u need to support hubby. All the best! Xo
