Sorry I really feel like I’m letting the team down. 😔 I thought last week would be my highest post-holiday weight! I did get my booster this week so I didn’t work out as much. And I ate restaurant food last night so it could be some sodium. I’ll try harder this week!6 -

6.2 for the week!!! I know last week was high for water/carb, but this is a mental win!!!12 -
@jazzadesigns I don’t think you let anyone down. Plus restaurant food is often packed with sodium. I think I can go up 3 lbs next day easy from the heavy salt and carbs. Darn water retention5

@KHill875 Very sorry for the loss of your grandfather. I know how hard grieving can be...praying peace over your family during this difficult time.
@PatriceFitnessPal I adjusted your maintenance range, thanks for letting me know. Glad you had a good trip!
@beka3695 Hope you feel better soon!!
@Pupowl Great pictures...I got most of my laundry done during the week this week so I could do other things this weekend, but I think I still have one load to do today. Other than that and cleaning the cat box and other daily things, I'm good on that stuff. I'm reading a book that I want to get deeper into today so that will be nice! Hope you enjoy your Caturday!
@hipari and @casandraw nice losses this week!
@justanotherloser007 Get well soon!

This week has been crazy for me at work but the BEST week ever in other areas of my life.
Business is picking up for me in a great way (yay for travel) and I'm excited.
I'm super stoked about the weight loss. As you saw last week I had that holiday gain but obviously I'm back on track. I don't do resolutions but I can already see the change taking shape & I'm excited!8 -
@CasandraW thanks for the response! I was feeling pretty down this morning, but have since put things into perspective. My friend and my sister both had Covid and have been sick for 4 weeks, in and out of hospitals. Even though I gained 1 lb. my kids and I are healthy so I’m grateful.3

I went tobogganing today on a smallish hill. Actually went down the hill and had a great time. I’m normally too afraid or self conscious. Plus my snow pants finally fit. I bought them years ago but they didn’t fit. Kept them as a goal.11

Just completed my first cardio session this year. It was slow but felt great.
I am really good friends with my ex-husband’s wife. She called to check on me and how I was feeling. She asked if I wanted to go for a walk. Told her I was completely exhausted and felt like I needed to recuperate a bit longer. She said she thought just gettin in the sun would help. I agreed if she would go slow that I would meet her for a walk.
We did +3 miles. She laughed and said even sick I was faster than her 86 yr old dad 🤪. I did a mini strength training session Thursday…. So 7 more cardio’s and 7.5 more strength sessions to meet my goals. I’m well on my way to the 10 lb portion of the goal!
January started out rough, but is looking much better!!!!

I'm not doing so well after the holidays. Struggling to get back in the right mindset. Sorry team.8 -
@CasandraW yay for snow pants! That’s a major win! Also, it reminded me that mine probably don’t fit… well, I don’t have any plans that I’d need them for right now.
Forgot to check in on my daily actions yesterday. For fitness action, I walked with my friend back to the subway station after her visit, and regretted every step of the way. The company was great, but it was raining tiny little ice daggers. Not fun. For home improvement I did plenty of regular chores on top of all-day baby duty as husband had other plans all day, changed fresh sheets to the bed and managed about a third of the Christmas tree.
Today’s fitness plan is to do something light, possibly just a few stretches, and to finish taking down the Christmas tree. My mother-in-law is coming over to see her granddaughter, and after that husband will take care of the baby until tomorrow morning so I get some rest and time off to do whatever I want without having baby responsibilities.3 -

Sorry for the MIAs but I have been either busy or depressed. Alot has to do probably with going to bed later and later each day. I'm in a rut. I am however starting to clean the things that are not a daily chore and checking them off my list. So I've been just living out of laundry bins. They get clean and live in bins well we needed them to put more clean clothes in. So hubby put them in one giant pile. Well or cat decided she did not approve and peed on it. I did not notice or could smell due to being sick proceeded to sort it all and put it away. Mixing it with all the other clothes. Insert face palm here. So long story short I sniffed every article of clothing plus all the clothes in every drawer. I'm almost done. Even the stuff in closets. Hubby's is done. Sons done I just have two drawers left. And one dresser for my daughter. Then onto the linon closet I just realized. I'm not mad just a little amused. This is not all that happened. More to come later.......9 -

Ramblings of the day
Good morning Shape Shifters. I had a pretty nice day. I was meeting my new friend at the start of a nice walk nearby, around 26 minutes from my home. The weather was really nice, cold but sunny. I did bring my camera, but we were too busy chatting so I didn't even take any pictures! Sadly they had to go home a bit sooner than we both would have liked because they felt a migraine coming on. They still had to drive home for almost 2 hours so I was a little worried, but they made it home safely. I was pretty tired the rest of the day so I went to bed on time. Today is going to be fairly lazy, which fits well with a Sunday. Happy Sunday everyone4 -

Wahoo!! I am getting closer to wearing size 18!!! I only have 2 pairs of faded (due to wear) and worn black jeans in my current size. Needless to say, they are not much help is this cold weather. The penny pincher in me is refusing to spend money on new pants when I have a big tub of nice jeans (size 18) next to my dresser. Gee, its exciting just thinking about actually having a choice of what to wear every day. Git R Done!!!9
