I did nothing but set up the house for Celia, do laundry, fold towels and read. It was a good day!
I feel a bit guilty for not walking because it was beautiful out there, but... :D well...nopey, nope!! :D;)

Kathy so glad you took time for you. Great workout. Can be so good at lowering stress. <3

Chris I would hate wasting beautiful walking days also. Looks like you will have to walk on a dreary one to make up for it. :p

Did a cardio blast workout with KCM. It was mostly step aerobics. Stayed in my calorie range today. It was a good day! Had spaghetti for dinner.

Chris, Is your weather getting any better? It's been gorgeous down here last couple days. Hope you got the same.

My left arm has now joined the joint strike with my left knee. Oughta go to the Doctor but just keep putting everything off. Housework is a lovely way to avoid everything else. Been doing lots of laundry lately.

Haven't been weighing cuz I've been bad.

Early workout at PF. I was there around 6:45. Did a upper body and abs workout 30 minutes and Treadmill 60 minutes.

Paula please get to the doctor. Remember self care is so important! I hope you feel better soon.

Chris and Karen I’m ready for spring weather as well. I miss walking at the park but I’m happy to have PF.

Shelly I’d forgotten about KCM. Have to look her up again.

Great workout Kathy. I spent some time watching all my KCM DVD's. Took notes and put a small note in each DVD about my thoughts on them. That way when I want to work out I don't waste time choosing between all the unknowns. So if you are wanting help finding a certain type of workout let me know. I will give you my thoughts. Only want cardio? How about only weights? Or a mixture of one minute cardio than one minute of weights? Yep, I know which that one is also. Really helps me.

Chris I am really wanting summer as well.

Karen the sun was out here yesterday as well. Even collected lots of energy from our solar panels.

I must have not saved yesterday. I was not feeling great and I bet that is why. I did not workout last night. But Wednesday I did KCM. All weights. Lots of squats also.

Shelly a mix of cardio and weights sounds good on those days I can’t get to PF. Thanks for the offer.

I had minor oral surgery this morning. I feel like crap. Pain meds have upset my stomach. Drinking no sugar ginger ale.

Paula - take care of yourself sister! Tomorrow is a new day.... start fresh. We've been at this game for a while. You've got this ....I believe in you!

I had a tremendous walk this afternoon. It was just the most beautiful weather. I just kept going and going for an hour. Perfect ending for a Friday of a very obnoxious work week :)

We need to get back into the weights. It's on my list to try to figure that out.

Paula, to the doc with you, my friend. No more messin' around with that stuff!!
Kathy, the dentist is not my friend. Hope you feel better tomorrow.
Shelly, I remember when I did KCM back in the day!! I have all her DVDs, I think. She kept me going for a long time.
We have had some great sunshine here the past few days! Something like 76 this afternoon. Tomorrow should be great for my walk! I love it!
    I did a 60 min workout w/my trainer today.

Yay! It is officially the weekend! I've been longing for it all week.

Last week's successes: I logged everything I consumed. In addition to my daily walking, I went to the gym 5 days (1 day I even went twice).

This week's challenges: Incorporating strength training in with my cardio exercises and increasing my water intake again (I'm falling back into the habit of forgetting to drink when I'm not at the gym). I am also going to try to stay within my other macro targets more, rather than focusing only on calorie intake.

I had my first week with a weight gain since I started back on my "get healthy" journey this year. I knew it would come eventually. I've been at the same weight plus or minus a pound for almost 3-weeks now. I've been sticking to my calorie goals and exercising regularly, so now I'm going to start paying more attention to my other macros and sodium intake and see if perhaps that will kick my metabolism back in gear.

In the meantime, I am not going to be discouraged! I've been here before and have given up when I was working hard and not seeing the scale move. I'm not going to do that this time. I know it is a process and a marathon.. not a sprint. This too shall pass. I just have to find the right combination of food and exercise to get me where I need to be. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend.

Donna, you are a beast!! Look at you, girl! Amazing. Keep it up. I've been going back and forth on the scale, too. Makes me crazy.
Got 6.19 miles done in 108 mins this afternoon. It was beautiful out there!
What do you ladies have planned for Valentine's Day on Monday? My answer to that question is..."I don't know, yet." :D

Hope you feel better soon, Kathy. Do you like ginger? Diet "*kitten* and Bull" ginger beer has zero calories and is really yummy.

Had a great day yesterday taking my sister to NYC to see Six the Musical for her birthday. Gorgeous day...sunny and 60 (today it is snowing and 30!)....we lucked out. We walked a lot...I almost was in Chris territory with the steps...but not quite!

    Super fun...

Haven’t been to PF for a couple of days. Calling dentist in the morning because I think some thing is wrong. Woke up to clotted blood on my gums around the tooth. Not sure if this is normal or a stitch came loose. Going to try one of the KCMs Chris posted and maybe my recumbent today.

Everyone is doing so well. I’ve got to keep focused. I think following up with dentist will alleviate any anxiety. Let’s finish the second half of February strong ladies!

Karen, you are very welcome! I bet if you strapped your watch around your ankle, you would beat my steps easy! Looks like you were having a blast!
Kathy...damn! I hope everything turns out okay.
Donna, well, I do get to go in for a mamo tomorrow. Not exactly the most fun way to spend Valentine's Day, but I've rescheduled it twice already, so guess I'll just woman-up and get them squished! :#
I did get 6.46 miles done in 119 mins this afternoon. It was in the 70s and beautiful! I did take an umbrella to use when the breeze wasn't too fierce.

Paula, are you sure that number didn't have three zeros after it? :D
I got a 60 min workout w/my trainer done this afternoon. Then went to Kaiser for my 'chest press'!!! Then went to Sara, Pete and Ronan's for Valentine's Day dinner. Now I'm gonna read for a bit.
Hope you all had fun today.

Kathy they are beautiful. I really love the red vase. Perfect with those blooms. Hope the dentist fixed you up.

Karen I wish I could take yoga. I don't think you would regret taking the class. Being flexible is so important.

I am getting ready to go into a custody battle case. These are my least favorite type.

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentines Day. Rocky gave me chocolate. Mmmmm and some carnations.

Karen, go for the yoga. Did it for a while but I have too many body issues. My daughter was terrific at it!
    Shelley, chocolates and carnations!! Terrific!
I did nothing today. The wind was at 22mph and cold this afternoon. It's at 16mph right now. Too windy and cold for me this afternoon, so I ate popcorn and read!! :)
