No jumping sounds great Chris!

So I finally ordered my new Fitbit. I decided on the Charge 5. I really did not want a larger watch face. That and I want to continue to challenge my friends using Fitbit.
Thankyou for all your input on the different Fitbits everybody.

Went to yoga last night....it js more of a workout than i thought!
No exercise really today. Had a meeting at Bellas school which took me out of work for 2 hours! May try later...but so tired 😫

No jumpin' for me, Shelley...nasty knees...altho I have different words for them! Glad you decided on your Fitbit. Have fun with it.
Yoga is tough, Karen. I tried it for a while. My trainer is also a yoga instructor. She went really easy on me then. Sara could do all the moves tho. Oh, to be in my 30s again...bwahahahahah! Nopey, nope!
Chris1 -
Karen, I did hatha yoga back in the 60's which was stretching, meditative and relaxing. Then tried "power" yoga in the 90's which was the most strenuous workout ever! It left a couple pounds of liquified paula on the workout mat. Sounds like what they're doing to you. Namaste,
Chris, I'm with you: Jumping (and running and kneeling) are things of the past. And "nasty" is a good way to describe my knees too, but only because MFP turns all the other words to *kittens*.
All, :flowerforyou:

Tuesday: strength training upper body/abs and 60 mins treadmill.
Finally posting to correct month.🤣
The gym where I take water aerobics has yoga stretch which is a yoga class done seated in a chair. Perfect for my age and level. Going to try it.

Worked out w/my trainer for 60 mins this afternoon.
Going to Kaiser tomorrow. Pat has to have a procedure done. I get to hang around for a bunch of hours until they release him. A good friend is going with us to make sure I get us home safely. I have direction dysfunction and am not sure I can get us home by myself if Pat's sleeping. We'll just have to see how it goes.

Treadmill 60 minutes and lower body/abs strength training.
Good luck Chris. Be safe.

Thanks, Kathy!
Sat in Kaiser all ******* day. His surgery was 2 hours late. Finally, I had to go chase down my husband so they could bring him out to the car!! So much fun!! So glad we are home.
Chris1 -
Glad you are home safe, Chris. Hope he is feeling better soon.

Chris that was awful. They should have been looking for you! Hope all went well.
Paula I can't believe you would type words that turn into kittens!
Karen so glad you are still sticking with the yoga.
Kathy I am out of trigger food also. Good luck.
Rode my bike with Libby and 2 friends. We had a great time and got home just as night approached. Bought a heating pad for starting saads. Growing Datura and Brugsmania seeds. Love the way their flower smells.
Night all

I've been teetering around the same few pounds for a few months now. Went back to trying to track pretty regularly to see if there's anywhere I can tighten up. Starting to wonder if this is where my body wants to land. When I look back on the past year It seems like the trend is to stay right about here.
I do struggle on the weekends for shore. We tend to eat out a little bit more on the weekends and I don't do that during the week. I'll keep on trying. I'm hoping that the yoga and some other weight bearing exercises help to do some toning which is what I really need.
Good news on the basement saga. After almost 2 years of water and drainage work and a full renovation we are almost there. We chose to get an
Epoxy floor instead of carpeting because of so much water in the past. All he needs to do now is to stain in the stairs and we will be ready to move our fitness equipment down into our little fitness area. It's really looking good! I'll put s few pics.

Karen, I love your workout room!! Nice job on it! Sorry about your brain ache. Can't say the word...fear of getting one.
Paula, your Fish Fight gave me the giggles! Too funny!!
Shelley, do you know what kind of fish they are?
And I was a bum all day yesterday, too. My trainer and I decided I needed to keep an eye on my husband...just in case he needed me...bwahahahahah, nopey, nope.
I have eaten so much this past week that my weight has shot up BIG TIME!!! Back to IF today. Will keep you all posted. No more excuses.

Chris they are Jaw fish. I love them. So fun. I like the pearly jawfish.
Paula I love them. We have wanted a new one for awhile. They do require a deep sand bed though. And are generally very peaceful. Those are in a tank to small for them to be together. Or they need to spread out. Rocky wants a pair. What a hoot.
Karen I love the floor. I hope you are putting something none slid on the stairs. Falls are awful. My basement has had water before also. Pain in the you know what!
I ordered fushias today. Lots of pretty ones. And the ones I sintered are starting to bud out. Worked on our linen closet today. What a difference!
Shelley0 -
Oh so far I love my new watch. I hope it helps me get back on track!
Shell1 -
Chris - you can do it! And I'm with you on those "feeding" weeks. They are so frustrating!
We will use one part of the basement for our fitness area. We are going to put rubber mats over the floor and bring down the huge weight rack (my husband has a hardcore rack, rower, and some other equipment. We are nervous about bringing the elliptical down. It is a gym quality elliptical...and heavy as hell. If we get water again, we wouldn't be able to move it in time. So may keep that in the garage. Right now it is in the living room ;(
Had a nice day yesterday. We took Bella to her therapy appointment and unfortunately her therapist didn't tell us she needed to cancel. We did reschedule for today thank goodness. But we walked around a small town and had some lunch and did a little bit of a shopping. It was nice to get out of here she really hasn't had very much motivation to do much. So at least that was fun.
I'm taking a yoga class this morning...the really hard one! I keep telling myself I'll get better with each class! I need to get ri 10K steps today.
I'm putting my friends beef stroganoff recipe in the crockpot. He says it is the best ever...so will.give it a whirl!
Have a great Sunday!
Karen0 -
Rest day. Cooking Sunday dinner and not much else.
Last night was the first night in a while I haven’t eaten anything after dinner. I’m trying to get back to IF for 16:8. That really helped me control the late night snacks.
My mom made a pound cake. I’ll have a small slice no later than 7:00. 😂
Kathy2 -
I almost blew my Lent resolution of exercise for the entire 46 days. Jumped on my recumbent and got it in!2
-
Did a great yoga class this morning and took a walk while Bella is on therapy tonight. So gorgeous out! 68 degrees.....got my 10K steps in. Haven't been doing that too much, but really loving the yoga. I can feel my flexibility getting better too!
Karen0 -
Karen I wish there was a class I could take. Just hang in there. Can’t wait to see photos of the basement when it’s done
Kathy pound cake so delicious. I would have some also. You are doing awesome
So I woke up and showered. Then was bored. It was snowing. Then I had a wonderful idea. I went to Home Depot and bought a tarp and spray bottle. Armed with my purchases and a step stool along with some plastic bags. Here is how my idea quickly turned into several more days fun.

Way to go ladies!
Sorry I haven't been around, but I was stressed. Okay now. Husband is doing just fine. Won't know if they got all the melanoma or not for a few days. Took two lymph nodes while in there. Cancer sucks...just in case I haven't said that before.
Got 7.38 miles done Sat in 128 mins and 9.53 miles done in 183 mins today. The first 2 miles were w/Pat and a bit on the slooow side!
