I feel like this is going to end up a bigger loss since I weighed in directly after a carb overloaded night. Hosted a poker party and made chicken/yellow rice and black beans (side of beer, sugary cokes and mini Cubans from Publix🤦🏻♀️) I just really need to stay focused this week and try not to get out of control with my nephew’s birthday party coming up on Sunday.

Well there was an attempt but it wasn’t successful before seeing this post lol. Yesterday tried to make Cauliflower hamburger buns. Instead of using an egg and cheese in the recipe, used flax egg instead. That totally did not work out, came out like thin slice of mashed potatoes. Now I know how to make Cauliflower Mashed potatoes, it tasted just like it, it was tasty 😅

Congrats on the off scale fitness goals! Fitting nicely into cloths is always amazing! You’re using weights and muscle mass does add weight to the body. If fat is being turned into muscle, that is probably why since it weighs more.
This is why I’m not using weights as I’m losing weight, only body weight for arms, legs, etc. Once I get to goal weight I’ll add limited weights to build muscle mass if needed0 -

I went on the scale like 5 different times because I didn’t think it was correct, like I didn’t believe it😅
I think what contributed to this week’s loss is that I ate more veggie based meals this week. Was afraid that homemade chick pea brownies and homemade mint brownie ice and banana chocolate ice cream was going to impact progress, but looks like it was okay 😊 Plant based is really the way, I need to stick to it, because you can eat more and not fear the scale, lol. The homemade sweets used a variety of Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetners (powdered sugar, brown sugar, white sugar), Organic Raw Agave, Organic Honey, Organic Grade A? Maple Syrup, Organic Date Syrup, Organic Bananas.

Sorry I'm late to report. I hurt my back 3 weeks ago and on Thursday woke up and could barely move or walk. The pain shifted to my hip and the outside of my left thigh went numb while the deep center of my thigh felt like a sharp knife. I ended up at my doctor's office Thursday afternoon and received a shot for the pain and a prescription for muscle relaxers and pain medication. I've been lying down since Thursday afternoon. I just took some meds and can sit long enough to type this message. I haven't been able to exercise so I stopped my daily check-in.3 -

I was only over by like 200 calories. I had a second helping at dinner cuz it was so dang good! We had spaghetti and I haven’t had it in a long time. So I let myself have it😊
I’m doing my journey differently this time and it seems to be working. I log everything but I don’t get too hard on myself if i go over. I used to really restrict myself in the past and tell myself no on everything and I think that’s why I used to binge after so long. Now, I’m trying to make healthier decisions while still eating foods I love in moderation.2 -

Guess the universe needed me to slow down and I wasn't listening. Off to get dressed and work from home if I have energy for a couple hrs but definitely not the 10+ hr day I had been putting in.2 -
