@Teresa502 Sorry you are going to be stuck inside most of the day today and tomorrow. I'm fortunate that I'm not working, so will be able to get out and get some much needed work done, I hope.

Nice running @kgirlhart . It's so hard to run in a strong wind. Love the picture of your family. I imagine 6 girls in one house was a lot to deal with at times.1 -

I knew I was going to have a very active day, so I went out and walked a total of 1.0 mile for warm up and cool down and then ran 1.0 mile without stopping - all on the driveway. The run was 12:16 minutes. Not bad for my driveway. Then, mom and I went over to the field and cut and hauled some of the smaller cedar trees for about 1.25 hours. After resting a few minutes, I used the Gator and log chain to pull a couple of trees out my lawn that had fallen over the winter. (Calories and time not counted.) Another short rest and I went out and used the weed eater to cut down the high spots in the lawn, picked up the big limbs out of the yard and down the edge of the driveway, and used the leaf blower to get the debris off of the porches and part of the driveway. (Getting ready for the first mowing after I change the oil in the mower.) After another short rest, I went out and sprayed my car off and used a brush to get it sort of clean. I had parked under trees at work and the birds were "active." (Calories and time not counted.) I'm beat.

Just a short 2 miles today. It was a nice run. Not as windy as yesterday, but still pretty windy. Tomorrow is the last day of the streak. I have enjoyed streaking, but I am kind of looking forward to a rest day.

Still here! I took a week off everything due to my leg injury being more serious than I realized at the time - knee where I wrenched it was really sore, and spreading up into my hip. It feels better now. Conveniently I needed some time off anyway because of friends coming into town for a long weekend. We had a lovely time (my friend smoked a crown of lamb! Never had it that way before) and I did get a long walk in, which made my leg hurt so much that I knew I didn’t need to be running on it.
So, Monday, ran trails easy with the stipulation that if my leg bothered me we would just walk, and… it was okay? In fact felt better after running than before. But still not right. So since the week had rolled over into what would have been my rest days for next week, I went ahead and took them as usual. Leg feeling pretty much right at the moment. I will find out tomorrow.
I spent today watching weather maps. At one point we had six supposed tornados on the map at once and were in the cone of an actual confirmed one, but it ended up not touching down. Then they moved on to my mom’s house, she was in the cone for two more! But turned out fine. So apart from stress, we’re all good here. And it was a very good day to take as a rest day!5 -
@rheddmobile - I am so happy you are ok! I saw the string of tornadoes on the news going over/around Memphis and was worried about you!
I hope everyone else in the storms' path are safe!
I got in a short 4.5 mile run today. Hoping to maybe get in a couple more tomorrow afternoon/evening. Have a busy day of things that must get done and the run will have to be afterwards.1 -

It was raining this morning so no run for me and I have a dinner/work meeting after work so no run today. I did walk on the treadmill for 1.5 miles this morning after my strength workout. I finished the month with 91.65 miles. A little short of my 100-mile goal but that’s ok because I got a couple of good long hikes on the AT in this month. Moving on to April!

I ran 5 miles this morning. The weather would have been perfect if it wasn't for the 20 mph winds. All in all it was a nice run, but I was feeling kind of tired. Only 2 more days of "streaking". I don't know how @alphahowls does it.

Today was town day for me and mom. I got a hair cut, then we did our shopping. It was almost 4pm before I got home and I am going to open at the daycare in the morning (be there at 6:30 am), so I did a treadmill walk of 1.75 miles. I had intended to only do 1.50 to make an even 60 miles, which was my goal for March, but when I looked at the monitor, I was past that, so just walked on to get another quarter mile. I'm such an overachiever. LOL3 -
7 miles this evening. Not a bad run for being a pretty warm 68F and 20mph wind. But needed to get outside, and glad I did. That finishes March with just shy of 130 miles. See y'all in April ☺️

I ran 6 miles this morning to finish out March with 132 miles and completed the streak. That is my second highest mileage month. When I got up the weather app said probable rain at 5:45 so I was prepared to get wet, but no rain ever came and it was a nice morning for a run. I have really enjoyed streaking this month. But I am looking forward to a true rest day tomorrow.

Seeing on the news that there are so many severe storms across the US again. I hope everyone is safe!
I didn't end up getting any miles in today. There were just too many things going on that needed to be addressed. So I am wrapping up the month with 78.91 miles - gah! that number bugs me... should have at least done 1.1 to get to a nice even number 😂

Last run for April, tempo 5k - barely had enough time to get one in because I was making friends with momma raccoon in my backyard! first time I have seen her in daylight since the babies were born. I estimate they are three weeks old now, should be just opening their eyes.
The weather forecast went from perfect to a little chilly to a little chilly with high winds to a little chilly with high winds and one determined little rain cloud that sat exactly on top of where we were running for exactly the time we were running - skies cleared and the sun came out for a poppin’ sunset, and the park closes at sundown. But apart from the chilly miserable start it wasn’t a bad run. Felt fast. Looked at my data later, was not in fact fast after all. Oh well! But got it done.
Leg feeling better after running again, it seems fine.
