    The weather has been colder these last few days, but I did get out on my bike for two short rides today.

    Feeling good. Tomorrow is my last day of fasting but I think I can go longer with ADF. It makes food tastes so good after 36 hours since my last meal. I might try 24 hours fasting next week, which is OMAD, haven't decided yet.

    Had very nice brunch at a lovely spot in Menlo Park that is part of an Artist's Collective as well as beautiful gardens with some work friends that I haven't seen in a couple of years. Such interesting women - more conversation than eating.

    Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Technically yes, and I know I was over, but my app has been having syncing issues so I uninstalled and reinstalled and lost all my tracking since the issues began yesterday. No ability to re-enter what I lost.

    I just threw a pair of New Balance away now to make my current Hoka’s last until I order another pair or get to the closet Hoka dealer in Lake Placid .

    Second almost full day of whole food plant based attempt. Did a good risotto from scratch with roasted cannellini beans and pesto very filling good dinner finished with a cutie orange. Exercise was plenty of yard work which incorporated plenty of stretching.

    Ohh nice, let us know how you go with the WFPB diet... Are you family on board as well? I find if they are it makes it easier. I did it a few years back and lasted 18months, hubby was on board at the time. Felt great doing it and would love one day to get back to eating wfpb. All the best with it. xoxoxo
  • Another pass day. We made some Passover treats, even though Passover is over, because we didn’t make them while traveling. Ate too much of it and didn’t track it. Also no exercise.

    Tonight my girls had a birthday party (early b-day - they turn 32 on the 27th). They had a few friends over. Late last night, I had to deal with A's meltdown over feeling like she doesn't deserve a party and that the only reason everybody is coming over is they pity her and that everybody was going to be bored because she won't be able to keep them entertained and how it's humiliating she has to entertain with a missing tooth and more along those same lines. All that being said, the party went well, everybody had fun and lots of laughs were had, even a few by A. Then, after everybody left and we were winding down for the night she started crying again - that emotional release of everybody being gone. Depression and anxiety and extremely low self-esteem are exhausting and daunting for those suffering from them, but I'll tell you it's no picnic for those of use who love and live with those people either. Le sigh.
