For me, it's just being able to fit in smaller clothes. I still have a protruding stomach. Not sure if that will ever go away, but my legs no longer rub against each other! I can walk further without running out of breath. My face looks so much slimmer! I can't stop looking in mirrors now! LOL! Before, I'd avoid mirrors like the plague. I still have a ways to go yet, but I am happy with my progress. Oh, and bringing my A1c down to normal. That is a big one!14 -

I’ve been able to start walking without using a walking stick and last week actually was able to start exercising again. I thought I would never be able to do that again and I actually have a collection of different walking sticks because I also thought I would never be able to walk without a stick again.
I saw big improvements from going very low carb but still needed a stick to walk and with my Fibromyalgia I thought that was as good as it could get. Just five months on a relaxed carnivore diet and here I am, fully mobile again, it’s like a miracle to me. I have to wonder if my Fibromyalgia was actually caused by some kind of intolerance to plants. I don’t know, I just know that I’m recovering and it feels amazing!9 -
I can cross my legs when sitting.
A nice Columbia fleece jacket I ordered online now fits. It was so small beforei couldn't even get my arms into it.

Before - (and even up to just a couple of months ago) I barely took 1,500 steps most days due to sedentary life and work life.
Now - I'm up to walking 1.75 miles and working towards that being 2 miles in the next couple of weeks. Never imagined that would happen again.11 -
For the past 6 of 8 days I've hit my goal of adding 500+ steps! This is huge for me. I'm still struggling with daily keto success and adherence, but I know that successes over here help motivate successes over there. Like a big, rolling snowball effect! I feel so much more hopeful than I did last week.8

After shedding less than half of my weight loss goal, it is easier to go up stairs, or get out of a chair. I am now wearing clothes that I haven't fit into for 25 years. I've learned a lot about nutrition and what different types of food does to my system. What trips the cravings that I have no power over. Water retention in my lower legs is greatly reduced. Joint pain is not as much of a hardship though it hasn't completely gone away. By far the largest benefit/victory is that my blood pressure has dropped 30 points. That and I'm stoked to keep on with the changes in eating and increased movements.11

My favorite belt for my work jeans is back to hole number 5 instead of 4, or even 3 previously. And still getting to eat a bit of rice with my stirfry, and chili with beans once in a while.6

After one week here my sedentary life style, is no more. Eating right and finding with my Dr less need for high doses of insulin has given me the motivation to do more. I use to sit with my spouse for hours a day as his caregiver. Sometimes even nap when he does several times a day. That is all gone!!! Look forward to every new day. I go to bed at 9-10 pm instead of 2-3 in the morning. I get up and get going with helping the spouse, housework, taking care of our 3 pets and am hardly ever sitting. I love planning meals and trying new recipes. And I have begun using a shopping cart instead of a scooter too!!

The scale hasn’t moved in months for me but I did lose an inch across measurements since last month and my abs are much more defined. I’ll call that a win and keep trying to budge the scale in the meantime!6

Less inflammation in joints so less pain, I had forgotten just how much lowering my carbs helps 😏 Also managing to keep up my water intake every day is a huge nsv moving away from almost only coffee!!3

I don't fly very much and on a recent trip was really surprised at how much larger the budget cabin seat felt - and how much longer the seatbelt was. Wasn't even worried about spilling over into the personal space of the stranger sitting next to me. Made for a relaxing flight.5

So happy for you, Tom! I experienced the same thing. On my last flight I could very easily buckle the belt. It seemed like the airlines were making them longer. I asked the attendant about it and he said, "No. They haven't changed them at all." So... it was just me that had changed. I was humming to myself the entire flight!3 -
