Query on healthy fat intake
Hi all, I am a novice to all of this but I have been reading a bit about that as long as you are eating real foods etc you are getting high quality nutrients. I have tried to reduce my carb intake as much as possible as I found I would be more tired after eating this sort of food. I have started eating foods such as eggs…

Getting integrated into the community
I'm having a heck of a time navigating the community. My goal is to find like-minded Keto-ers, maybe an accountability buddy or two? I've tried posting to specific groups, using tags. I'm even confused with the challenges lol I find having others makes this journey a lot better! Help!

I'm new here and looking forward to the journey
I am a lifetime Weight Watchers member but I've become unhappy with how they are running the business now. I've had several friends who have had success with MFP and I'm hoping it will help me track my food, focus on moving more, and making better choices.

LADA Type 1.5 diabetes.
I'm looking for more people like me. I was misdiagnosed as a Type 2. LADA is Type 1. Adult onset. If you come in overweight docs will assume you are Type 2. And wont test! I was put on the wrong med for 2 years. Are there any other LADA's out there?

On Low Calorie Diet to loss weight - I have the habit of going crazy with the International Delight Creamer so I know that's part of my problem - so I would see what you Guys drink to stay inline with your diets. Thanks

Old dog, new tricks
I resolved to lose weight about two years ago. With the help of Noom I lost 55 lbs. I started to take Pilates lessons, walked more, and reduced my A1C from 7.2 to 6.0. I’m diabetic 2. I gained about 10 lbs back and want to lose it and then some more. Being diabetic makes food choices more complex.

Intermediate fasting
How could I incorporate intermediate fasting, into my diary if I wanted to fast for a meal or different times throughout the day, When I’ve fasted for lunch or dinner before at the end of the day my dairy won’t let me log it in because it tells me I’ve eaten too little. Has anyone had this issue?

Finally back at it
I’ve been off this app for awhile now. The past couple of years have been rough. I had a stroke, was diagnosed with diabetes and cancer and ended up having major surgery this summer. I lost some weight during all of that but it wasn’t in a good way. I still need to lose about 50 pounds to get to my goal weight. I also need…

👋 hello!
Hi all, Kate here, I've been using the app since August last year and it was hugely helpful in tracking foods to lose weight for my wedding (classic, I know), but found I really felt BETTER when I was tracking what I was eating, eating moderately, good foods at reasonable times of day, drinking less alcohol, and also…

Does the macros gauges and calories gauge on the dashboard realign to suit a meal plan picked and used via MFP. Ie do the amount goals rise/fall according to the plan you’re following.

keto carnivore returns
Years ago I started keto then carnivore for improved health (autoimmune and arthritis) and some weight loss. I started to let things slide, stopped myfitnesspal and then left it all fly out the window. I now need to re-lose the weight and regain my health with what will likely be a ketogenic to carnivore diet for life. And…

I guess I'm doing this!
2024 is shaping up to be a grand year. I started a new job on 1.1.24. They promote health and wellness and are paying for me to use this app. I made a commitment to myself to make better choices at the beginning of the year and I've already lost 13lbs. I'm hoping to find some support and motivation here to help me on my…

Returning to MFP
Hi all! I've used MFP off and on over the years. I'm currently returning to better my health and get my life back. I started Keto back in 2018 and it did wonders for me, but my addiction to sugar got the better of me. I also went through a significant job change that made it difficult to stick to Keto. I went back to…

50 lbs lost in 40 days.
Well, my story starts when in November 2023 I ended up in ER, and after my sugar was measured (865) I received new diagnosis: diabetes, and was hospitalized. Diagnose was bit of a shock, as over last half year I was receiving confusing sugar readings (will skip explain all for space sake). With 355lb weight, congestive…

Hello y'all
Hello My name is Carol and I am new to MyFitnessPal. I was diagnosed with T2 Diabetes in 2012 but I really didn't take it seriously because I didn't feel ill at all. Little did I know there was a lot of damage done to this body over these years. So here I am, a little scared but trying to figure it out. Most importantly, I…

Easy Meals
Hello! One of my roadblocks to weight loss is being tired after work and not wanting to make dinner. Like a lot of people, I have more than one job. What are your go-to healthier options for when you’re not up for cooking dinner? I have a family to feed and am pre diabetic, so bonus points for ideas that feed multiple…

Hello!
I’m Kathy, 53, from Pennsylvania. I lost 30 lbs last year but immediately began gaining it back. This is the second time this has happened when I got close to my goal weight. I’m pre-diabetic, so carbs and sugar are the enemies. I’m looking for groups for diabetes prevention and/or ending yo-yo dieting. Best wishes to all!!
