Hello
Hey all! My name is Mohammad and I started my fitness journey in 2022. Had lost 60lbs simply by depriving myself of food and hitting the gym. I didn't fully understand nutrition and thought being in calorie deficit + low carbs + working out 3x a week was good enough. It worked while it lasted but I'm still not in the…

Should I worry about a plant fat heavy diet?
Fatty foods are the only foods that really satiate me. I used to eat a lot of garbage, but over the past year, I've switched to mostly plant-based, unsaturated fats (nuts, peanut butter, avocados, high-quality olive oil, etc.). I eat a moderate amount of cheese and eggs (maybe every other day?) and meat when I can afford…

Weight loss buddies
Hi All. I am Beth and live in Northern Virginia. I have been on MFP for quite a while, but have never taken advantage of what the community has to offer. I have lost over 40 lbs and have 39 more to go by food logging and sticking mostly with low carb/Keto. I can definitely use some support of others to keep going instead…

Getting integrated into the community
I'm having a heck of a time navigating the community. My goal is to find like-minded Keto-ers, maybe an accountability buddy or two? I've tried posting to specific groups, using tags. I'm even confused with the challenges lol I find having others makes this journey a lot better! Help!

Old dog, new tricks
I resolved to lose weight about two years ago. With the help of Noom I lost 55 lbs. I started to take Pilates lessons, walked more, and reduced my A1C from 7.2 to 6.0. I’m diabetic 2. I gained about 10 lbs back and want to lose it and then some more. Being diabetic makes food choices more complex.

Query on healthy fat intake
Hi all, I am a novice to all of this but I have been reading a bit about that as long as you are eating real foods etc you are getting high quality nutrients. I have tried to reduce my carb intake as much as possible as I found I would be more tired after eating this sort of food. I have started eating foods such as eggs…

I'm new here and looking forward to the journey
I am a lifetime Weight Watchers member but I've become unhappy with how they are running the business now. I've had several friends who have had success with MFP and I'm hoping it will help me track my food, focus on moving more, and making better choices.

LADA Type 1.5 diabetes.
I'm looking for more people like me. I was misdiagnosed as a Type 2. LADA is Type 1. Adult onset. If you come in overweight docs will assume you are Type 2. And wont test! I was put on the wrong med for 2 years. Are there any other LADA's out there?

Intermediate fasting
How could I incorporate intermediate fasting, into my diary if I wanted to fast for a meal or different times throughout the day, When I’ve fasted for lunch or dinner before at the end of the day my dairy won’t let me log it in because it tells me I’ve eaten too little. Has anyone had this issue?

👋 hello!
Hi all, Kate here, I've been using the app since August last year and it was hugely helpful in tracking foods to lose weight for my wedding (classic, I know), but found I really felt BETTER when I was tracking what I was eating, eating moderately, good foods at reasonable times of day, drinking less alcohol, and also…

keto carnivore returns
Years ago I started keto then carnivore for improved health (autoimmune and arthritis) and some weight loss. I started to let things slide, stopped myfitnesspal and then left it all fly out the window. I now need to re-lose the weight and regain my health with what will likely be a ketogenic to carnivore diet for life. And…
