Hello

Hi, My name is Don. I’m new to this app. I will be 62 years old on January 1. I was recently diagnosed having Pre-Diabetes so I decided it was time to start eating healthier and to loose some weight.

I have heard from people that a low carb diet can reverse prediabetes. I am trying the same thing, so I wish you good luck. I am 68, and my BS has gone down some in the last two months, though it is not normal. I am hoping in another two it might be. I am mostly low carb, most days around 50 grams of carbs, some days around 100. Trying to stay away from sugar, though I cheated a bit over Christmas with a few cookies. I've lost 20 pounds in the last two months.
How low, carb wise, are you going?
Did your doctor give you any advice as to how low a low carb was needed? Or what to expect if you stick to it?
