I think I'm a little over exhausted!! I believe I posted my weight for last week. It was the same as the previous week.

Let me know the correct number and I will make the change in the spreadsheet.

    Nice loss!

Great stepping. Did you do anything in particular to make sure you reach your step goal each day?

Great job on the food prep. It’s not something I really do but I sure wish I had thought about it when the kids were young and I was working.

    @rwillems
Fantastic loss! Any goals you concentrated on this week to help with your weight loss?

    @fatfifties
That’s the way to get things done. Make a solid plan.

It felt so good to go to bed at my normal time last night. It took awhile to fall asleep but that was a combination of late nights three days in a row and having a long nap yesterday. I figured I will be recovered from the weekend just in time to take care of both my grandkids overnight on Friday. When did I get old? 😂 Hopefully, the poor eating from the weekend will not reflect on the scales this week.

@fatfifties you lost 65lbs in a year! That is fantastic and for those of us who are on similar journeys, we know the dedication and effort you put into that. It is certainly a call for celebration. Don’t demotivate yourself, you went to that party rightfully feeling proud of yourself. Next year you’ll attend and have even more to celebrate. Your knocking on the door to One-derland, you go girl!

Thank you. Picked myself back up, have a week visiting my mum in the UK at the end of August then look out September! I'm joining the step challenge and losing 21lb before Xmas!

That's the spirit!. I'll join you in that challenge -- 21 lbs by Christmas. 😅👍🏻

Great stepping. Did you do anything in particular to make sure you reach your step goal each day?.

I actually set some hourly targets, which I tried to stick to.

    For example:
    1000 steps by 1pm
    2000 steps by 2pm
    3000 steps by 3pm
    etc, etc

Some days my step goal worked all the way to 10pm 😊 and other days I stopped a little earlier, but of course only after I at least reached my step goal of 7000 🤗

You have had some pretty big losses lately. Since the beginning of June you lost almost 40 pounds. That is amazing. It will pick up again. When are you adding running to your exercise?

Another weekend out of town - this time moving our oldest son back to The Ohio State University (Sophomore) and celebrating our daughters and her finance's birthdays in Columbus, OH. Eating out all day Saturday and Sunday took it's toll - not to mention 8 hour drives each way (instead of getting my steps in but it's just too far to walk though - ha ha). I have an open week ahead of me however to turn things around.

Wednesday. Gonna do the Eliptical for 30 minutes and then run after on the treadmill. Did the Eliptical today and tomorrow will be a rest day.

Thanks @l8ndamtuck2018. Three things to get myself back from "vacation mode":

    1. Diligent Food Tracking
    2. Two hours each day riding my Cubii
    3. More plant based food, reduce sugar and reduced salt intake.

Not 100% successful but I kept these goals in front of me all week.

@Megan_smartiepants1970 - Sorry bad week. On week 3 of sick kid and daycare is stressing me out. Thankfully she's stopped coughing so if someone else in the room gets COVID I don't have to get her tested yet again.

    8/7 - 11,720
    8/8 - 8,296
    8/9 - 2,845
    8/10 - 2,949
    8/11 - 6,516

    Good evening all.
    Check in:
    Steps - 13643
    Calories - 2500. Ugh. High.
Exercise - walk with daughter. 63 minutes. I would love to get her to walk further and faster.

Small snacks trying to keep me from thinking about this headache. Had it all day. Daughter has had one as well. I think we may get some covid tests if these persist.

I have seen the cubii advertised on tv. It looks like a great way to exercise while not taking up much room.

Have my diabetic check soon. I am hoping she will change them to once every 6 months. I wonder if there is a point where I am considered a non diabetic? I will ask today. If it’s not too late by the time I finish I will go to the pool. Otherwise, I will do some band exercises and mini walks.

That is one of the reasons we got it. We live in a small condo so a big treadmill, stationary bike or eliptical was out of the question. A little pricey but friends who had less expensive ones were not happy. We love ours.
