Gained weight this week. According to MFP, I am suppose to eat 1400 a day. So....this week I did just that on most days. I gained weight. so I'm going back down to eating my 1200 calories a day. So I will lose the weight that I gained this week.

I’m back after a month’s hiatus.
@cre804 Are you ready to come back from the support group to active status? Do you have a weight from approximately a week ago. I'll need a start weight...or do you want to use today as start and weigh in next week? Let me know.
Jessica
Yes, I’m back home now. Unless it messes up your spreadsheets then I could wait til next month. My weight from a week ago (Sep 30) was 194.0.

Do I just put in my steps for the day here or is there another place?

Hi @alleykat69 yes, just post your steps here every few days and I'll keep you up in the chart. I need your first name for the chart and your daily step goal for the spreadsheet. Where's your favorite place to walk this time of year? Thanks! Go ahead and send me any steps you had for Oct 2nd-8th as well...

So I’ve been doing really well losing weight the last few weeks. In my fifth week or marathon training for Houston in January which should help me keep on track.
My daughter did a half marathon yesterday and I’m so proud of her! She’ll do the half in Houston while I do the full and have a margarita while she’s waiting for me to finish. Her race was in Boulder and was quite hilly so she’s hoping to train well and run even faster.
I’d kind of come to the conclusion that I just won’t get much faster. I’m getting older and I’m heavier than I was in my 30s when I started marathons. But I started thinking about running in Chicago. The marathon was this weekend. For my age, I’d have to run 4:20 for a qualifying entry - which is guaranteed. Otherwise you go into a lottery. I ran Houston in 4:29 this year. If I lost 15 pounds, I think I could shave the 9 minutes if I had a good day (good weather, not sick, injury free) Feeling inspired to stay focused on losing 15 pounds by January 14.
Just thought I’d share my goal. Figured posting would make it more real.6 -
Good luck in the marathon! @SavageMrsMoose I love that you're both training and setting goals together, although you're in different places. That's awesome! What a great idea to do this together!!

I hope everyone who's feeling under the weather starts to feel better soon I had my PFT and walking test today, and the numbers were better than I expected. The technician said that the exercise I'm doing (and I believe the yoga & breathing exercises) are helping to keep my COPD from going downhill at a more rapid rate.....sooooo thankful 🙏 I need to lose at least 70 lbs - most of my weight is located around the middle of my body, which is not good, and definitely doesn't help with my breathing, either.
Yesterday I accidentally discovered the Tidal Marsh Trail in North Haven - I was with a friend driving to "At Home" and we saw a sign for it and decided to investigate what this was - it turns out to be a beautiful place to walk / kayak The weather was absolutely gorgeous - we walked for 3 miles!
Everyone always shares such lovely pics of where they walk outdoors & I'm happy that I'm finally able to share some, too
Wishing you all a happy & healthy & peaceful week ~ Susanna6 -

Good morning Shape Shifters. Not much going on here. Sunday was laundry day but otherwise not really interesting. Yesterday I got some groceries. I 'discovered' a protein quark which only has 118 calories and 4 grams of sugar per small container, but a whopping 23 grams of protein. So I will be adding that to my food a few times times a week. It is really tasty too. I requested a new address from postcrossing and I got someone in Japan which was fun. The puzzle I am working on at the moment is by a Japanese artist, so I wrote about that and posted the card in the afternoon. Speaking of the puzzle, it has been going really slow, but I finally made some good progress yesterday and I will finish it today. I also sorted out some administrative things I kept forgetting about, so now I don't need to worry about that anymore. Happy Tuesday everyone3 -

Good morning Shape Shifters. It has been very quiet here, so I hope everyone is doing well. I finally finished my puzzle. I was getting a little tired of it to be honest; it was a little bit too diffucult for me to find it enjoyable. While the artwork is gorgeous, I don't see myself making it again. Maybe my mom would like to give it a go and after that I will see if I can sell it or something. My food and habit tracker is still going well. Happy Wednesday everyone

I started my first ever round puzzle yesterday. In Tinus' cat brain, the edge was a toy. He never does this with my other puzzles and I thought it was very funny. He left it alone after this thankfully!
