 After 3 vaccinations and 2 boosters, COVID finally caught up with me this week (looks like I picked it up in Columbus, OH last week after visiting the kids), and then Susan, 2 days later, and then our youngest son (16) the day after that. After living/sleeping in the (finished) basement for 2 days, I can't say I wasn't glad to rejoin the family again in the rest of the house but wish it was under different circumstances. I started getting my strength back 2 days ago but still have the congestion, etc. but loss of appetite is probably the reason for the weight loss as I certainly haven't been doing any exercise this week.
 I hope you feel better soon ...You and your family are in my thoughts2

 We luckily don't celebrate thanksgiving in the UK so one less holiday to cope with!
 Christmas is a one day event in our house (no kids, no tree, no presents lol I sound like the Grinch but really not interested!) Might get around to a Xmas lunch and treat myself to some icecream!)2

 Im going to eat well on Xmas day but aside from that i will eat as normal. Limit chocolate and alcohol. Cheese and crackers are normally my downfall at Christmas so will limit those too. Everything in moderation! Planning on going for some longer walks to help burn off any excess cals3

 I'm so excited for Thanksgiving! Excited to have a couple days off, to start decorating for Christmas, etc! I am only making one pie (apple!). I want to make 4 different kinds but alas it is just me and my hubby. We are thinking about road trip and hike on Friday but it is supposed to be pretty cold and a chance of a snow storm, so we will see. Hoping to get out to Chaco Canyon.4

 I've lost 2.2 lbs and I've not been hungry at all. I also haven't felt the need for snacks.
 I'm looking forward to the next couple of weeks and see if this continues.
 I have my first meeting with my coach later today.2

 I hadn’t realized that that it had been this long since I’ve checked in. Things got a bit busy here at home. Monday was the usual running around with Karate, school runs, tutors, etc. Tuesday was my son Luka’s birthday so I did a lot of running around that day too. I got dressed for the gym early in the morning and was determined to make it at some point that day. I was out picking up his cake and last minute birthday dinner and decor shopping. Also had to take my dog to the groomers and do the usual pick ups and drop offs. I did finally manage a home gym workout in the afternoon before final school pick up. The boys was very happy with his day. Anyways I started feeling a bit odd that day with some lower abdominal pain and burning and discomfort. I felt it coming and I knew what it was. Wednesday morning I woke up with the worst burning and pain and dreaded what was about to happen. I have a UTI. Called my doctor as soon as the office opened but I couldn’t get in until late evening. So my usual Wednesday run around got done while in pain and constant stops for a burning wee. But I did what needed to be done, got to my doc, got my meds, and feeling 80% better already this morning.
 Today i plan on going to the gym and tonight is choir practice. It should be a slightly calmer day. Gonna do some online Christmas shopping since I’ll be home most of the afternoon.
