    @megnolia82 @laurelfit57 @19shmoo69 Congrats on your loss this week. 🎉

    @gemwolf110 Congrats on making the leaderboard

    @lrjogger1 I need to go check those recipes! I really want to use my airfryer more. Thanks for sharing!

    No Zero Day

    -On plan
    -continued my organizing
    -got my minimum water in

    We’re moving my library from one part of the house to another. Thankfully, my husband has been dragging them up all the stairs. In the process he’s admired my book reading. He didn’t know I read so much. 🤷🏻‍♀️

    Have a great week everyone 💐

    *sorry if I miss responding to anyone.

    @shaunarlr83 - Nice loss!! 🎉

    @Becoming_A_Butterfly - so glad you’re here and making your health a priority.

    My no-zero wins from yesterday.

    Jan. 8:
    -tried a new vegetable recipe (roasted butternut squash), so yummy (I never thought I’d like vegetables so much)!!
    -2.2 mile walk with Prescott
    -tracked food and stayed within calories
    -drank 6 glasses of water

    Later today I’m going to make green beans in the air fryer with a spritz of olive oil and some Aisan House seasoning that we have. Eating more vegetables has allowed me to feel full without lots of calories. One of my goals this year is to make eating vegetables a daily habit so when I eventually get to my goal weight I have a lot of new healthy food options instead of going back to my old habits of eating sweets, high calorie carbs, and overeating.

    I’m just going to check in real quick before anyone comes to join me in line:). The match went well yesterday, it was a super long day though. We were there from 830 and didn’t get home until 430, needless to say, Vannie and I were both exhausted. We had a lot of fun though made a lot of mistakes, but trucked on through lol. I did well with my eating, I packed a lunch and snacks, because I wasn’t sure about eating there. Today and tomorrow are going to be super busy days again, as always, I will continue to read everybody’s updates while I am waiting in line at the gym :-).

    @AmbersWay Oh you have a library, how awesome! That would be my happy place if I had one!

    @19shmoo69 Haha I love you talking to your grandson about food!

    @trooworld Tracking everything you ate is great especially when you feel you didn't do the best, way to go!

    @shaunarlr83 Way to go! That cream cheese frosting sounds pretty awesome, never give me that recipe! I can see you kayaking, hope you're able to get one soon.

    @Becoming_A_Butterfly I'm so sorry about your Mom. I hope being part of this group will help you, I'm happy you're on our team!

    @lrjogger Glad you liked the roasted butternut squash, it's one of my favorites! Green beans are one of my favorite things in the air fryer for a snack, I hope you love them. I love your oldest niece wanting to walk with you, you already are a great example for her but I bet it will be wonderful for both of you.

    @laurelfit57 Glad the match went well, you prepared for success bringing your own food, wtg!

    @tammymccrady6278 Welcome back!

    Hi team, hope everyone is doing well today! Tomorrow morning is Jasper's trip to the vet, hopefully he'll have a clean bill of health. I took him and Asher for nail trims at the rescue group on Saturday and they did better going together than them being apart but Asher is real hard to catch (he's the one that was obviously feral before he's so skittish) and he doesn't have an appointment so I'll probably just focus on getting Jasper. Today was real mellow, been very worn out so can't say I accomplished much but I did a shortened cardio session then did all my strength training and stretching but it was HARD. I used to tell myself if I didn't “feel it” after 10 minutes I could quit and always would go through but if I'd had that rule today I would've quit!

    No Zero Day
    did workout despite being exhausted
    ate under calories and logged everything

    Have a great Tuesday everyone!

    Jan 8 and 9 I got in my 8 and 9 reps of squats, push-ups and crunches. In between being on death’s doorstep. Ugh. Had a rebound of my virus and now it’s GI as well. I have to get lab work done tomorrow. Fingers crossed this is almost the end because I need to get back to work.

    I guess the silver lining is that I’m on a strict diet. No dairy, no sugar, no vegetables, no fruit, basically Gatorade and saltines. Yum. Although hopefully it won’t last long enough to help me lose weight. I’d rather do that on my own.

    Hope you had a good Monday. Talk to you tomorrow!

    @Becoming_A_Butterfly welcome back. I’m so sorry for your loss. Glad you’re ready to be here. Go at your own pace.

    Hey y'all! I'm back and I seem to be feeling better. I'm pretty sure yesterday (Sunday) was the worst of it. Today, I finally started putting the Christmas tree decorations down, I didn't quite finish but, I got off to a good start. Tomorrow, I'll finish the tree and start the living room shelves and village. That'll definitely take a couple of days. Hopefully, I will do a workout or take my best buddy out for a walk because, I think it's supposed to be dry. At any rate, I'M BACK!!! 😃💃🏼💃🏼

    My morning strength training workout was challenging yesterday, and I followed it up with some cardio on the elliptical and on the stationary bike. By mid-afternoon I was feeling it in my lower back. I don't mind sore muscles, but not those muscles. The back is still achy this morning, so I decided to skip this morning's workout. So now I wonder...is it a reason, or an excuse? I definitely don't want to make it any worse. Tomorrow morning, unless it's worse, I won't use that same reason/excuse.

    @Becoming_A_Butterfly So sorry for your loss. Now that you're ready to make self-care a priority, this group is definitely the place to be for support.

    @shaunarlr83 Way to go!!! Congrats! I'm glad you know that about yourself. Does fruit curb your cravings? I admire you for pivoting to kayaking. I have a friend that loves it. I would probably fall out lol. I hope your sinus infection is better. What a great day Saturday sounds like! Oh gosh about the microwave. That's great that your niece wants to start working on weight loss. Good luck to her! Great day yesterday.

    @Becoming_A_Butterfly Welcome back! I'm so sorry about your mom. I'm glad you decided to come back. @Broncobuddee, please add her back to our roster for a Saturday weigh-in.

    @lrjogger1 Congrats on that loss! I love roasted butternut squash, so delicious! Way to try something new! Other wins are great, too. I can't wait to hear how you like the green beans.

    @laurelfit57 Wow, that's a long day for an event! I'm glad you had fun.

    @Jen_967 Congrats on the loss!

    @19shmoo69 LOL!

    @tammymccrady6278 Welcome back!!!

    @Katmary71 Thank you! Way to push through and do that workout!

    @DrewsAnna I'm glad you are feeling better. I love our village but hate taking it down lol. Good luck!

    Hi all. I had a great day yesterday. I really pushed myself physically: after I got home from work, I did a rare evening workout! I lifted weights for 46 mins which was a little too long for me. I was really regretting the length of the workout about halfway through lol. BUT...I pushed through! I woke up with a migraine and took some medicine, hopefully it goes away soon.

    MY NO-ZERO DAY WIN FROM YESTERDAY: Lifted weights for 46 mins, drank 80 oz of water, tracked everything.

    Good morning everyone! My name is Tammy and I was a part of this amazing group a while ago but unfortunately for me I fell badly off the band wagon. I need up gaining most of the weight that you all helped me to lose plus gained all my bad habits. After a lot of soul searching and talking with my amazing husband I chose to come back and go one day at a time. Out of the fads and programs out there this community was the only one that truly made a difference in my life. I’m glad to be back. My weigh in day will be Saturday. Right now my stats sit as

    tammymccrady6278
    SW (my highest ever 249.6 lbs)
    CW 243.7lbs

    My goals are easy to start some would say but it is baby steps for ultimate success. 6000 steps a day, no eating past supper and not more junk food. I’m a Hugh Diet Coke lover and hate my water so I want to just have one Diet Coke a day and start drinking 5 to 6 glasses of water. Like I said I want to ease my way up to what is recommended rather than just jump into the deep end.

    If you need any other info from me let me know Have a great day!

    @shaunarlr83 I have faith in you, you will reach your goal weight when you are ready to do so. I lost 70lbs in a year 20lbs before that and the rest a few months later. I had set my date for August 2022, but I had to change it to year end of 2022 because the closer you get the slower the losses. Lol nobody explained that part very well.

    It's really raining hard here today; I would love to get out and do some yardwork, but it will have to wait.

    @shaunarlr83 Thank you! You seriously got a lot done, how did the crack chicken come out? I've been wanting to try that! How did your nieces and nephew like the workout? Hot bubble bath sounds like the perfect end of the day!

    @megnolia82 Oh no I'm sorry to hear your GI system is involved too, hope you're better soon! Way to go on keeping up with your workout challenge! I hope the labwork goes well. Oh the Y has some good gyms, I've gone as a guest in Washington and that gym was awesome! Hope you're feeling better soon so you can get in there.

    @DrewsAnna Glad you're feeling better! Glad you're back! It feels good though empty getting the Christmas decorations put away but I keep coming across something I forgot.

    @micaroo4 Oh no, I hope your back is feeling better soon. There's definitely a difference between tightness and having a flare up, the latter you're being smart to listen to just in case.

    @ljogger1 Nice loss!

    @trooworld Hope that migraine goes away, yuck! That's a serious weight session, way to go on knocking it out last night!

    @Becoming_A_Butterfy Sounds like a very busy day, have fun visiting your stepdaughter! Wednesday workout coming up tomorrow for you!

    @tammymccrady6278 Great to see you back! Your goals sound doable, you got this! I don't know if you'd want to do this but when I started eating healthier I used to ONLY pretty much drink Diet Pepsi, I grew up on diet soda and love it. I used Crystal Light as a stepping stone in between and managed to switch to that then started making strong iced teas that are usually herbal (right now I'm making Raspberry Zinger in the Instant Pot with a cinnamon stick and a ginger chunk then I'll unplug it and let it sit until tomorrow so it's real strong). I have a feeling I told you this before, if I did I'm sorry for repeating myself! I'll have a Diet Pepsi every once and awhile but unless I have company I don't bring packs of it in the house. I made shopping without junk a time where I could have a can or bottle but broke the habit of not always having it.

    @happysquidmuffin Two workouts in a day, you go girl! Self defense sounds like a great class, hope you have a blast.

    @FushiaKat Check you out down a pound, right on! California is drowning, this rain is crazy right now. I hope you (and me) are able to get in the yard soon!

    Lots of awesomeness to catch up with around here! I just got back from a meeting, my town has a Day of Service where people do community projects to better the town as a whole. I made the mistake of contacting the new food bank farm manager and the head of the charity I'm with and ended up going as a representative of both but don't know which I'll do my volunteering with or if I want to help with the overall project as there's monthly meetings through May for it. Jasper did well at the vet though he was really scared, she offered to put him on Gabapentin for anxiety and said he'd be tired and cuddly but he's already super cuddly and I don't want him to be tired all the time. So Feliway diffusers and I'll start trying things to see if anything helps. Did my workout but cut the cardio short since I had the meeting tonight and it's raining so I'm not feeling hot. I feel like eating popcorn but since I just admitted it I'll rein in that temptation and maybe fit it in soon instead of getting wild and crazy and going over. Have a great Wednesday everyone!

    No Zeros- worked out and ate decent, when I felt like munching I chose healthier items.

    Hey y'all, I see a lot of names I don't recognize so, welcome everyone.

    The sun was shining today and it was in the mid 50's so, I leashed up my best buddy and we hiked in the Preserve across the street from me. Even hubby decided to go with us. I know it will probably be the only time this year so, I took advantage a little and walked him (hubby) 1 3/4 miles. With Chipper it took us just over an hour. Chipper had so much fun running around without his leash and lol.... he even made a friend. There was a family out hiking and Chipper loved their little girl, and bless her heart she was loving him too.

    I made some pretty good food choices all the way around. I only ate one veggie but, I weighed and measured everything instead of guessimating (he he, lol.. I made that word up 😃😅).

    NO ZERO DAYS: I got some good exercise, ate good and drank all my water.

    This thing keeps kicking me out so, till tomorrow, y'all have a great evening/day!!

    Good morning from San Antonio, TX airport. I’m heading to Minnesota today to see my family (kids and in-laws). I know that this trip will come with lots of temptations to eat bad. I packed some healthy snacks so I prepared in that way. I think I’ll need to go to the grocery store when there to get some salad and vegetables to make for tonight’s family gathering. It’ll be a little harder to get my walking in because it’s way colder outside in MN but I will for sure keep up on my strength workouts because a person can do a lot with just their own body weight. @megnolia82 you’re showing us all how that it possible with your squats, push ups and crunches!

    The green beans didn’t turn out like I hoped. I used some frozen green beans that had been in the freezer for a while. I think they were freezer burnt and so the flavor kinda sucked. I’ll try them again but with fresh beans next time. I had salmon in the air fryer and a baked sweet potato last night and it was gloriously yummy!!

    @shaunarlr83 - congrats on your loss. I love that you’re influencing your entire family with healthy eating and exercise!!

    @tammymccrady6278 - welcome back. Glad you’re here.

    @DrewsAnna - so wonderful that you were able to get out with the hubby and Chipper. Sounds like a great time.

    @Katmary71 - you’re an inspiration to me. I love all you do for your community and the encouragement you give here. Thank you.

    @FushiaKat - congrats on the loss. Thank you for sharing your insights on losing weight, it’s helpful. Hopefully the rain stops so you can get out in the yard.

    No-zero day wins:

    Jan. 10:
    -logged my food and stayed under my calories
    -ate my vegetables
    -drank 10 glasses of water
    -walk with Prescott
    -journaled

    Flight is boarding soon, so gotta go. Thanks to everyone for the encouragement.

    @tammymccrady6278 I'm glad you found our community a help on your journey. You have great goals. A lot of us have started to do "No Zero Days" which might help you, we report our "wins" each day. Here is a link to more info: https://meganeholstein.com/the-no-zero-days-productivity-mindset-might-change-your-life/ Again, welcome back!

    @megnolia82 I hope you get some answers. Wow, what a great perk!

    @happysquidmuffin You know, our weight fluctuates so much and I hate when I am having a high day on weigh-in day and then the very next day, I am down. A self-defense class sounds fun, let us know how it is!

    @Katmary71 Thanks, it went away after I took some meds. Thanks! Uh oh, that's nice of you to volunteer but please don't stretch yourself too thin, girl! I'm glad Jasper did well at the vet. Popcorn sounds good. Great no zero wins!

    @DrewsAnna Sounds like a fun day of hiking. Awww about Chipper making friends! <3 Great job yesterday!

    @Ftofit Thank you! I did! I have heard that weight training is the only thing that helps with toning. I'm sorry I don't have any other suggestions! Great job with no zeros!

    @gemwolf110 I'm glad you are starting to feel better.

    @lrjogger1 Safe travels! Way to think ahead and pack healthy snacks, great idea! That's too bad about the green beans. What a yummy dinner! Great no-zero wins!

    Hi all. I think yesterday's migraine was either from our weather (it rained all day yesterday) or from that intense workout, I did: my heart rate/BPM was too high for the workout, at one point it was 166 BPM and the absolute max that I should achieve for my age is 170 BPM. I will not do such an intense workout next time. I had a pretty good day yesterday, I had a great salad that was delicious and healthy, here's the recipe for those interested (I added a protein source):
    Autumn Kale Salad with Fennel, Honeycrisp and Goat Cheese - https://cookieandkate.com/autumn-kale-salad-with-fennel-honeycrisp-and-goat-cheese/

    I am also attaching a pic of my heart rate for that intense workout so you can see what I mean.

    MY NO-ZERO DAY WIN FROM YESTERDAY: Stuck to eating plan, drank 60 oz of water, tracked everything.

    My phrase for the year: "Every choice is another chance to change my health for the better."
