its hard to restart again. The desire is there, but the mind is fighting it. I had a couple of dinners out and that contributed to my gain. Need to refocus this week6 -

My steps were horrible last week. My hip was hurting and could hardly walk. I did get back to walking yesterday. I thought I would be walking today but I forgot I had a staff meeting tonight, ugh. I do have appointments this week so will see what this week looks like. I am not going to promise myself that I will get up early because I failed at that this morning. I know tomorrow is a new day but my bed always seems to call my name that early in the am. 4am is tough.4

Good Morning group! What a weekend. I ate more than I wanted sunday and monday. But my goals are in focus this morning. I am going to have 3 on plan, on track days before weigh in on friday. Just a minor set back, the major gain is my positive mind set. No more gloomy gus because I didn't meet my goal. The goal is not the be all end all. The ability to move on is one of my goals too! I'm a goal getter!!6

I'm up but that included a 3 day road trip to get back to my home. Back in a routine already. So I expect to be back to my pre-Xmas weight soon.

I didn’t want to weigh in Sunday bc I’d gained so much weight so I waited 2 days so I could lose weight in that time. I’ve figured out what kind of works for me at restaurants when I need to lose weight, skip the entree, eat an appetizer and a side dish (had potatoes (side) and baked clams (appetizer) bc the clams had vitamin b12 and a glass of red wine. I’ve been eating not the right way for someone who gets weak and has low b12 levels. Havnt been walking bc of feeling weak (b12).5

I thought today's number would be much higher - I went for a hike yesterday (water retention) and then had 2 slices of pizza. I just couldn't stop myself. So, nice surprise this morning!

Saturday I joined a new gym, and yesterday, I did my health assessment and did my first class. I really enjoyed the Aqua Strength class that I went to, and I got a good workout from it. I even woke up a little sore in places today. Tomorrow I am going to two different classes, Aqua Motion Plus at 8:00 am and another Aqua Strength class at 5:45 pm.

I had a great day today. I ate within my calorie goal. I am done for the day and I did it without beating myself up. That is amazing progress. Tomorrow I am going to focus on getting my steps in. I need to practice being more consistent. Baby steps. I will end the day with pride today.

I'm proud of hitting my step goal and that I listened to my body when it was feeling discomfort and rested. Today will be better.3 -

Yay!!! I got my steps in today. It took a concerted effort but I did it. I also drank all my water and stayed within my calorie goal. It was another good day. I am really trying to change the weekends. It is like if I have free access to the frig, I go hog wild. As of yet, I have not been successful with an on plan weekend. That is my goal for this weekend. It is just one weekend. I can do one weekend.

@buniphuphu Yay! look at you being all consistent. I love water aerobics. They use to have a class near me but they changed the hour of the class and now I don't get out of work in time. It was great for my chronic pain. I sent an email to the pool people and asked if they could change the time back yesterday. Maybe they will. We shall see. In the meantime, swim for me!!2

Sorry Team, but I was expecting not loosing any weight this week. My last 2 weeks I lost 5 LBs each week and I expected my body to adjust this week. Even if I don't loose any weight next week I will still be happy with a 10 LB loss for the month of January. My goal is to loose 1 LB a week and hopefully keep it off. I will continue to eat well and exercise and see what happens next week.5 -

I bought lots of nuts, fruit and vegetables today, as well as, chicken, salmon and minced beef. I'll be healthily well fed over the next few days. I can get a tad lazy at times and not bother buying things that need too much preparation ☺️3
