    Step count (goal 13,000):

    03/07
    03/08

Not sure what format you want but I saw others listing the entire week each time so I am going to do that this week as well.

    Weigh-in Day: Monday (Mar 6, 2023)
    PW: 235.5
    CW: 235.5
    SW: 240

This feels like déjà vu, although at least it's not a gain (again)!

Going to try this again...and I am going to keep trying until it sticks! For the sake of my health, my mantra needs to be, "Fake it 'til you make it"!

    Sunday, the 5th

    Logged: Yes
    Under: Yes
Water: 8 cups (could be better)
Exercise: Yes, a 37 minute walk (318 calories)
    Steps: 12,050

    Monday, the 6th

    Logged: Yes
    Under: Yes
    Water: 10 cups
Exercise: Yes, a 33 minute walk in the snow while my husband was curling (321 calories). It would have been really pretty were it December, and not March!
    Steps: 14, 519
I went to work and did some filing, so that always gives me steps.

Today is errand day, so hopefully I will keep busy and not spend too much time plunked down at my computer, which ALWAYS becomes my downfall!

Not my best week. I had 2-3 days of just not feeling 100%. I'm back to normal though so this week should be better. I'm getting on a plane and headed to the east coast this afternoon. I have a long layover so I'm hoping for over 10k steps today. The next week will be difficult in terms of tracking and exercise- I will be dealing with helping each of my parents.

Hope everyone has a good week!

I really feel for you with trying to deal with elderly parents so far away. I spent a frustrating call on Sunday with my Dad. With no one to check on him it is so hard being so far away.

Do you curl as well? I am kicking myself for not getting brier tickets to see Gushue play. I bet curling burns lots of calories. One thing I have beef doing to try and limit my iPad time is to set a timer and stick to it.

I curled for maybe three years, and I really enjoyed the game. Then Covid hit, so there was no 2020/2021 season. I also hurt my knee in November 2020, when I had been having a great year since April, getting back in shape. I was down about 24 pounds at that point and being very active. 2021 and 2022 I went downhill mentally, and as a result, downhill physically. Now I am just too fat and out of shape to curl. Disclaimer: I cannot bend in the hack without it hurting me knee, but I could curl with a stick. However, I feel like I am too young to do that when my only disability is lack of discipline. If I lost weight and did strength training, I would be able to curl normally!

Speaking of Gushue, we were flying from St. John's to Toronto in 2018 and three of his team members were also on the plane! (Himself, Mark and Brett). They obviously sat in the big seats near the front of the plane, so they boarded first and then we had to walk right by them to get to our seats. They were flying to China for a bonspiel. And yes, if you sweep with intent, curling does burn a lot of calories!

I too love curling. Was never an actual curler but to watch is fun. Both my parents took up curling in the military in Germany and continued to play till about ten years ago. They attended many Briers. My son played for several years in his youth and my daughter recently took it up last year. Hard for me to watch here in America as it's not as huge.
