@DJill68 That is a beautiful quilt😍 and the view off your porch is so peaceful looking. I'm so sorry about your FIL. I praythat God gives you the strength to continue the care for him. My MIL did take care of her husband for over 10 yrs when he had a stroke and was bed ridden, so I seen how hard it was for her. I can imagine how it is taking a toll on you.
@tfelts147 Great check in. I am also ready for the warmer days. I am planning a scenic drive for hubby and I to Trinidad, Co. The first part of next month for our Anniversary. Taking the Camaro out.It been awhile.

@shaunair83 I love scenic pics. We have takin A LOT over the yrs. We are going to put a digital picture frame over the fireplace and display all the picture over that.
It is great when you have people working with you on eating healthy.
@Bemybestby60 Welcome! I am also one with the family curse of heart disease and diabetes. I did have a heart attack and stent placed in main artery on left side. Some time it just happens to the best of us. I was very healthy. Only thing was I smoked. Dr said it was caused by one of the two so I quit smoking. This group in full of great people to help you out in all your ups and downs.

So I have managed to do dirty fasting 16 hrs the last 3 days. But I am not consistent on started and stop time. I usually start between 9 and 10:30 pm, so will end 1 and 3 in the afternoon. Only half a splash of 2% milk in my morning coffee. Unless I am extremely hungry I can manage to make it to dinner before actually breaking my fast. Just drink water and run to the bathroom all day. We will see how the scale treats me this weekend.
Made to the Wally World and HEB for grocery shopping this morning and now just relaxing with Diesel for the rest of the day.

Wow! Very sweet comments from this group! I will learn how to make a post and tag people in it hopefully. Had a good day so far. Even took a well deserved nap! Gonna go make dinner and then go walk the track at our community center. Thanks everyone for your kind words!4

Yes agree so many kind comments. The same with me I need to tag members. I am using my phone to comment. My fingers keep on hitting the wrong letter.
Well today is my regular day I weigh in.
I have been preoccupied with the daily routines life. I can't figure out how I did everything plus work 3 part-time jobs. I thought retirement would of been easier.

@trooworld Awesome water and tracking! I’m super nauseous, the steroids haven’t kicked in yet but I looked up the dosage and it’s way more than I normally take so hopefully I’ll feel it soon, it’s pretty scary when I get this bad where I’m praying for relief or being taken to heaven already.

@Bemybestby60 It’s hard to answer on the phone, I use my desktop or laptop and snap the group in one window and a document I respond to all the comments on then copy and paste it, the gang taught me the ropes when I started in this group as I used to always lose posts. You’re doing great, keep up the tracking! I’m with you, the rain is so old.
Hi everyone, we made it to the middle of the week! I mentioned this to Chris but the steroids I was put on are super strong and I feel like I have the stomach flu, I checked and they’’re way stronger than what I usually take. Hopefully I’ll be feeling relief as much as I’ve been feeling nauseous lately! Tomorrow’s my first day without them so I’m praying for it. I had to cancel going shopping for the care packages, a few of the other board members are going tonight and figured with needing my walker and standing I’d rather just rest and go to the board meeting tomorrow if I can make it. Did some arm cardio and stretching but mostly spent another day laying around. Not going to the greenhouse tomorrow either but hopefully will be back next week. Hope you all have a great Thursday!

Photo is of the food bank farm last year around this time, the farm popped up two years ago next to the food bank which is around the corner from me and I looked into it and started volunteering there that year and have been doing so ever since. A new manager came on this year and he's awesome and very enthusiastic which I love. I’ve been the main volunteer at the greenhouse since January which is perfect as winter is horribly painful and depressing to me and starting and nourishing everything is just what I need. Can't wait to get back and be able to sit on the ground at the farm when it's warmer, I really miss it right now.

Spent 45 minutes this morning responding to everyone, went to copy and paste it and it deleted somehow. It was mostly hi’s, welcome, cheering and thinking of you, love the pics of family and of course the animals but my main point was….does anyone else get as excited as I do when @19shmoo69 posts?! Now I log back in 15 hours later and he’s added 2 more!!! 😜😜😜
Spent a couple hours with my kid this morning and then mom took me for pedicures!!! I went back to bed to rest up before work. Woke up and my son was still gone in the truck fishing, mom and sister were gone, lil brother and daughter were working, and older brother was out picking up pizza for my nieces birthday party. My sister-in-law ended up letting me drive her car to work and I only ended up 4 minutes late which doesn’t go against me. Thank God for family! Lol stressful start to my work week but all is well!
I had my suspicions for a bit but my ex husband and his new gf posted their relationship publicly, I only know this because she’s one of my friends 🤦🏼♀️ correction was one of my friends 😂 poor girl! I had already made my mind up that after my birthday I was going to start dating. That will be 6 months! I’m not jumping into a relationship just want to have some fun and start talking to people. I’ve never really dated. So I’ll give it a try.
My picture today was going to be from my hike yesterday and I’ll also add my food that my mom sent to work for me and my daughter! She’s trying all new healthy whole food recipes and everything has been so good, my daughter didn’t leave me much lol. I wanted to close my watch rings so I ran flights of stairs in the stairwell and did some body weight movements to hit goal. Missed steps by a little bit but I’ve been walking my feet off lately. I’m a bit slow to get back to hitting water goal but I’m at least logging it again.

@trooworld I wish I could say she's better. Yesterday I had to take her to the ER again. She woke me up and her heart rate was literally too fast to count. We have finger clamp blood ox and pulse monitor. On the way I looked down and it said it was 209. When we were in the ER prep room you could see her heart beat in her neck down to her shoulder. They gave her a shot that was supposed to instantly slow it down but it took 2-3 hours.

We are heading into the rainy days again. It going to be hit and miss for the next 2 weeks.
When posting I use my tablet and phone. My phone for scrolling through post and my tablet for answering on the website. I save draft every so often so I don't loss what I write. I have lost quite a bit of post in the past just trying to use my tab and jumping back and forth between pages.
@Katmary71 Yeah he is always checking out anything I bring in the house or move from one place to another. I gave a video of him playing with the ice cooler and fell in to ice water.🤣

I am sorry about your ex friend. I did have the same thing happen to me with my 2nd ex husband. He cheated on me with her, we divorced, they married, now divorced. Karma is always hanging around.

@shaunarlr83 I used to always lose my responses, I hate that! I love seeing posts from Darren too but they usually make me crave more coffee! Ouch I’m sorry to hear about your friend and ex, that has to be hard to hear. Sadly you know what she’s about to go through so she won’t be happily posting about it for long. I definitely get wanting to date, I think it’s a great idea and I think you’ve healed a lot and would have fun meeting new people. You just have to find ones that can keep up with you now!
@trooworld When I make my iced tea that I drink all day I toss a knob of ginger in, I’m doing mint tea at night now too. I love your Fall/Halloween celebration and that veggie tray is amazing! I love your makeup too!

Hey team! Nothing new to report on this end, still not feeling too hot. I found someone to act as secretary for me at tonight’s meeting and am doing a castor oil pack then getting in the tub. I did do some arm cardio and stretching but feels like all the sacral nerves are inflamed and didn’t want to push too hard, I just hope I’m able to walk again soon without assistance. Have an awesome Friday!

Photo is of some flowers in the front yard (the blue flowers I picked up at a plant stand a few years ago and had no clue what it was, sure is pretty this year!), herbs on the baker's rack that are messy, beans//tomatoes/peppers and why I'm currently flared up so bad, then bunch of seeds still starting on the deck by the succulents and cactus and older herbs.

@trooworld - I love Halloween too! I always wanna go all out but rarely do. I’ve volunteered to be a trail guide through a Haunted Forest before and it was hands down the best night of my life!!! Me and my kids made one for a handful of their friends a few years ago…so fun!!!

Today I got 8 hours of sleep, woke up and went for my weekly run! 2 miles and both were under 10 minute miles!!! I was really excited about that. I looked back through all of my running history on my watch and I’ve only logged a single mile ran under 10 mins in the past 3.5 years. I vaguely remember that day and I had to push myself super hard to do that, today seemed nearly effortless. The best part was I didn’t have or feel like I had to have any additional energy supplements. I’m trying to stay completely away from energy drinks so 2 positives right there. 😁
My daughter let her friend take her to a car dealership on Monday, her credit wasn’t good enough to get her into a new vehicle but they stuck her in a 2016 total electric Kia Sol. Won her over with several people telling her not to do it bc they let her drive away with it that day, no money down for a week. I’m not necessarily against electric vehicles but they just don’t make sense where we live, she can’t park close enough at her apartment to charge it at home, she would have to leave it someone else’s house to charge and help pay their electric bill or the nearest charging station is 25 miles away. Because it’s older it’s only getting 60 miles on a full charge 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ I’m going tomorrow to see if we can get her out of it. She can’t get anything else without a co-signor and with the things my ex made me do my credit is shot, they have already told her it will be a repo against her any other way so I’m gonna go fight the good fight as best I can. Stinks because I really needed another full rest day tomorrow. I have one more 12 hour shift and I don’t want to waste any of my birthday sleeping. I might have tired eyes in my birthday pics but it will be worth it if we can get her out of this mess.

I just wanted to do a quick check in. This week has been miserable but a blessing on the scale. I finally hit the 20lb (my loss since joining this group) gone, passed it and hit onederland too. Now to see if it sticks for Sundays WI.

@shaunarlr83 Great job on the run!! I really wish I was able to do runs. I've tried I just can't keep it up for longer than a minute or so...I'm sure it's one of those things if I continue to do a little at a time it gets easier. I'm sorry to hear about your daughter's cat experience. I wish there were more 'good' car dealerships that cared about the customer. I've gotten much better at the negotiating side. I know in my youth I made some poor car purchasing decisions. Hopefully you can get her out of it!!2

Thanks everyone for all the tips on posting but as timing goes my computer is giving me a pain in you know where. This weekend I will have to do a restore. I love the car pix's. So my pix today is ....oh yes. I did track my calorie intake yesterday and worked on the yard and gardens.
