Hi all. I was so tired last night, I was going to take a nap at 7:30 pm and wake up and stay up late but I took a nap and didn't wake up until this morning lol. I guess I needed it. Today will be a challenge as far as tracking goes: I'm going to a retirement party and I have no idea what they are serving. But I'll do my best to track it.

Sorry I have been MIA lately. Been depressed and havenβt felt chatty. Iβm ok, itβs a cycle I have dealt with for many years. It will pass eventually. Iβm still doing Keto. Havenβt been walking or going to the gym. Still loosing so not gonna stress about it. I felt better when I was walking daily, gonna try to get back to it, itβs just been so hot. FIL has more tests coming up. His health has declined a little but overall doing well, considering we now have a cancer diagnosis.8

Just want to say a quick hi to all my teammates! Did some gardening today and my husband is making dinner with extra protein something I've been low on. I'm thankful for the structure of this group it's helping me stay on track. Maybe I'll be able to lose the weight and keep it off this time?

@Cornanda I think thatβs wonderful, do you ever want to eat even if you realize youβre not hungry? I found myself doing that sometimes, eating stuff like carrots does help because they take awhile and thereβs all that chewing.

@askewcr If youβre positive youβre doing good it could be so many things like sodium or hormones, keep up the great work and see if next week is better, if not itβs time to stop and examine things. I love @trooworld βs comments on this! Just because the scale is a punk doesnβt mean you arenβt doing awesome!
@trooworld Wow you really needed some rest then! Good luck tracking today, Iβm having one of those challenging days tomorrow. Itβs depressing to estimate that too since It always seems to be higher than I think when I start.

Good evening friends. Had a tough time sleeping then my ex-boyfriend had posted a stressful message on Facebook regarding his health so I sent him a note then went back to bed and had nightmares about it as he's having a biopsy this week to see if he has cancer. I spent a little time at the farm working on tomato and basil then stopped at the farmer's market and went to my appointment. The PA tried to show me I was exaggerating my herniations by reading them off by levels then said I need to see a neurosurgeon when she saw I hadn't and we weren't halfway at that point (gotta laugh or I'll cry). I see the pain doctor in two weeks as well just had to go for medication refills. I met a friend for coffee then came home and my neighbor who also goes to the farm to help out had texted me offering extra kale and lettuce she had from her house and the farm and told me to come by and get some so I took a bunch of herbs for her and her boyfriend and catnip for her cats. Tomorrow both of my nephews are having a joint graduation party and Iβm in charge of salad so Iβll be joining @JessicaKrall8 βs new challenge for sure! Have a great Sunday team. Oh I'm up 5lbs too since steroids and a few ice cream trips then not being able to do chair cardio anymore. Wish I could say it's muscle but I can't.
Doing my best on body mechanics, don't really want to go into details but I'm doing what I can.

Checking out Yoga with Adriene this week. Second day, today. Just a 10-min video. She's great! One of the comments said "Adriene is like the Bob Ross of Yoga!" ... And I'm like .... Yea, she kinda is! *nods head* π€£
PLUS, omg I learned how to cast the YouTubes to my TV earlier this week, when I was first checking her out. What a game changer that makes watching YouTubes!! I feel like this is going to open up a whole new avenue for me to explore. There's so many good exercise vids? I'm interested in Yoga, and Strength Training. For Beginners. π
YouTube and Roku were having some kind of tiff a few years back, the first time I tried to put youTubes on my TV. Wouldn't work - Roku disabled the YouTube for Roku app. I guess they worked out their issue - yay π
Sounds like a rough, but ultimate good day, kat! GL with party tmo! I remember you said you were saving up energy this week, so you could do that. π

@Katmary71 Thanks, yeah, I did track it all but not until today. It was challenging. I know what you mean about it being depressing. Did I miss something? Did you and Bill break up? I'm sorry you had a tough sleep. Oh gosh, that PA! What a visit. A nice salad is a great thing to bring to a graduation party. HUGS.

There is a channel that isn't yoga but she may do some strength training (I think it may be mostly aerobics): Grow with Jo. She's a really positive person and I really like her videos.

@katmary71- Yes, I definitely want to eat sometimes after checking to see if I actually feel hungry. Sometimes 20 min makes the urge go away, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I grab some food before I check in with myself. I do feel if I can do this consistently it will help.
I've been thinking of you daily and praying for your back to feel better.

Yesterday Hubby and I celebrated 23 years of marriage. We went to Outback Steak House. I had green salad and the baked chicken, shrimp and pasta meal. I ate the salad, 2 pieces of the bread, one bite of the chicken, two shrimp, water, and maybe half a cup of the pasta. I enjoyed it all! My weight was 258 and my sugar was 129 this morning. The weight is the same as yesterday and the sugar is less.
Then when we got home, I cut my knee on the door of my husband's truck. Pain!!! I iced it and used Aquaphor on it. It didn't bleed a lot but is so very sore today. Lord have mercy! I hope this doesn't interfere with my water aerobics on Tuesday.

Met my 1,000 milestone (and then some) yesterday. Was a real busy day for me - 25,000 steps - my all time high. I got past my halfway mark to 2,023 today. π7

I'm in a dietbet that ends tomorrow and I'm now 0.2 under my goal weight. I'm just dreading the scale going up tomorrow... Becuase of course it will . What matters more, though, is that 160 has been a huge goal for me. I'm half way to my target weight - down 20lbs from my highest weight at the beginning of the year.8 -
