    since @vegan4lyfe2012 asked, here's the Slinky dress. I got so many compliments! Probably should have asked my Gen-Z students to get some good photos, but I was so busy enjoying myself, I totally forgot. My calves are complaining a little today because I spent 4 hours in 3" heels, but I was able to dance and have fun without constantly sitting down catching my breath.

    also, I never would have considered posting a full-body selfie to the internet even...three months ago?

    @badnoodle - You look Gorgeous! I love the dress. I'm glad you had a great time too. I think I'm going to look into a fitbit device as well. I don't install apps on my phone. I'd like to start tracking more than just my steps though. I'd like to find one that tracks my blood preasure, sleep and calories burned too.
    @Katmary71 - I did a workout using a stability ball. It's a lot more of a challenge than I was expecting.
    @trooworld - Your recipes this week sound delicious. I've got a White Bean and Chicken Chili, I'm going to make.
    @vegan4lyfe2012 - My husband and I are currently living in a house that is only 500 sqft., while building our new home. At first it wasn't too bad, but it's been over a year now, and it's starting to look cluttered. So I understand how you feel. Plus I miss all my stuff in storage. I'm going to checkout FlashFood. Thanks for the tip, all that food sounds great.

    I had a late start today. I was in the ER with my husband for 7 hours last night. He was complaining about chest and shoulder pain. His blood pressure was high too. He's ok. He has bone on bone n his shoulder which caused inflammation and pain. They gave him steroids and muscle relaxers. He'll be getting cortisone shots and eventually need a shoulder replacement.
    November went well for me. I'm still steadily losing weight. I lost 5 lbs. in November. Now I need to make my December goals. First goal - I'd like to be 150 lbs. by New Years. That's a 6 pound loss this month.
    I have a doctor's appointment for myself today. This will be my first time seeing the doctor since I started my weight loss journey. This should be interesting.

    @Katmary71 – I am surprised that your area doesn’t have grocery stores participating. I have 3 within 20 minutes of me with another 2 stores within 30 minutes. I’m sorry. The Advent I opted for this year is from DAVIDsTEA called 24 Trips with Tea. I’m not having it each night, though. I thought it would be fun if Hunter and I did it together any time we get together. Each one is a different country and it has a couple sentences about it on each flavor. I bought 2 so there’s enough tea for a full pot and Hunter and I both really liked the sturdy packaging of it.
    @trooworld – Same goes for you as what I said to Katmary71. Seems like in your area, there would be a lot of participating stores.
    @badnoodle – OMGoodness! You are gorgeous! And that dress looks fabulous on you! I’m so glad you enjoyed yourself in the moment!
    @Veta2018 – Oh man…I don’t think I could handle 500 sq ft. Sounds like when my aunt and uncle lived in a little RV for a year while their house was being built! I mean, I’m definitely not a snob and don’t live lavishly, but I am way too used to my 1100 sq ft all to myself! Hope FlashFood is in your area. Hope the cortisone works for your hubby. I had arthritis in one shoulder back when I was 37 and had to have it scraped out. The bone healing was the worst. I can only imagine how awful it must be for him. But on a happy note, it sounds like you’ve got a very do-able goal for New Years!
    It’s been pretty quiet around here. Hope everyone is busy and doing good.
    Sydney signed her lease and got her keys this morning. Now the task of getting everything moved in. Most I’ll be doing is driving the U-haul again. But at least it’s only a 15 minute drive. Work has been busy and stressful (isn’t it always when it’s the end of the year). But I did some super fun nails, so all is good with the world! Have a fun Friday, everyone!

    I just crossed the finish line, so I'm tooting my own horn! As of this morning, I have walked 2023 miles in 2023.
