    A Quick Note: It's so easy to be discouraged by the number on the scale this time of year, but remember that our bodies are doing everything they can to keep us alive. It takes in more water to process excess salt and sugars, needs time to grow new muscle, doesn't work as effectively when stressed or sick... grant yourself some grace, grant your body some grace, and know that a few bad decisions will not undo months and months and months of progress.

    I hope you all had a great holiday. I received a new tracking watch for Christmas, nothing fancy. I just wanted to be able to track my steps again to get back into some step challenges. I'm not going to have a lot of steps right away because if the issues with my back and leg but it gives me some motivation. Today I started doing piyo amd walked for 40 minutes so that was an accomplishment. I want the piyo because they want me to try stretching my back, hip and leg. I'm hoping I stick to all of this.

    @ljdanny nice that you got a step tracker! I hope that the piyo gives you some relief for your back and leg. I too have had a lot of leg and lower back pain in my right side. I work with a personal trainer who’s helping me strengthen muscles and work on stretches. It has helped. BTW, what is piyo?

    Hi all, I've been busy spending my Christmas holidays in Andalusia, Spain - swam in the Med, sailed alongside dolphins, watched a flamenco show, wandered round Alhambra, Alcazar and Roman theatre remains, and we're only half way through.

    Here's my goals really from last week

    Daily Cheers to a BETTER ME!

    @daria0919 piyo is a beachbody program. A mix of yoga and pilates. It's good for stretching.

    I forgot to weigh in today. With not working this week, I have no idea what day it is. I will weigh in tomorrow morning.
