Happy Saturday!
Spin class this morning was pure fire. The playlist was all Taylor Swift and we were all just jamming on the bikes. Love when a good playlist makes the workout feel like it flies by.
The hubby and I went to the farmers market, then the grocery store, and I had to swing by a bookstore and makeup store because why not? It definitely felt like a “treat yourself” kind of day. I bought some skincare and suncare products and a new perfume (who doesn’t like smelling nice?).
Now we’ll eat lunch, maybe check out a new brewery and have one drink, and then catch up on some housework like moving our living room furniture back into our living room.4 -

I am scoring some serious victories on the homefront today.
1. The vacuum part I ordered was definitely never going to arrive. After much hassle, I got the company to cancel the order and refund me. Phew.
2. Took the vacuum to an actual vacuum shop a few towns over and wouldn't you know, they had the part on hand, for $50 less than the dumb website was trying to charge - done, fixed!
3. Realized that Amazon refunded me for the new TV I purchased back during Black Friday, despite the fact that they sent me a replacement for the initial cracked TV! Free $250 TV.
4. I thought that I had broken my personal printer when I moved into this apartment a year and half ago. In all the cleaning I have been doing, I decided to plug it in and see - as it turns out, I think it is functioning okay! Of course the ink has definitely dried out by now, so once I actually need to print something, I will get new cartridges and hope all goes well. But definitely don't have to throw it out!
5. Now that I know the printer works, I was moving around some items in shelves and cabinets and the printer fits SO perfectly on a pull-out shelf in one of the cabinets in my bedroom - and I discovered that the prior owner of this unit had a similar idea because there is a power strip in the bottom of that cabinet. I can plug it in right there!
6. Now, I have a clean apartment and I am going to try to put up some decorative lanterns somewhere since they have been sitting around for 18+ months.
wooooooooo!! love getting things done and organized!!!
I also took a walk today after the vacuum was fixed. I had paid for an hour in the parking meter and it only took 10 min to be fixed so, being stubborn and trying to get my money's worth, I walked about 25 min along the river nearby. Lovely.
Not so great on the food front - I didn't eat anything until almost 5pm which was dumb, I was just very distracted. Definitely not meeting my protein goal today. Going to try to practice my violin now! I've been slacking quite a bit....6 -

The ebbs and flows of weight loss. Well, I’m not crazy about it but it happens. My work has me at a desk for too many hours and it’s a challenge to increase the days I work out but that’s my next best step.
Have a great rest of the weekend!
I’ll be back soon. 😘5 -

Could I change my weigh in day to Sunday please.
@lindamartin27 Done! Sunday is always the first weigh-in day of the week, so there would be no weight recorded for you this week. Do you want me to excuse you from this week, and then just go ahead with your Sunday weight for next week? That would work easily, or if you prefer to give me a guess at your last Sunday weight I could put that in.
I can give you my weight last Sunday for past weight. I weight and record my weight almost every day.

I went on a 7 mile hike on Sunday which was a lot of fun! It was relatively flat, so that made it easier for my first long hike in a while. Then work meetings the rest of the week, I barely got any steps in!
I have 4 weeks until my 5k. I also signed up for another one in May. Last year I jogged and trained for the race and then stopped jogging/walking the next 9 months. I need to get in some cardio in addition to my weights!
With all the work meetings and my book club Wednesday night, my eating has not been on track. Time to turn that around!6 -

and a new addition to the results post...
Percentage of Members in the Green!
This will now start being reported on a weekly basis in addition to a monthly basis.
As a reminder, being "in the green" indicates a loss of any size from one week to the next; the percentage is how much of the team saw a loss in any given week.
In Week Three, it looks like the Downsizers really dug in and went for it! Also a huge congrats to the Mission Slimpossibles and Waistaways for jumping up over 10% from week two to week three!
Where will YOUR team be next week?3 -
Hello All! Congrats to our wonderful top losers for this past week @lauren_989 @wishfuljune and @ChelleChelle1031 - great work!
I am so happy we are getting the % of green weigh-ins on the weekly report. I was asking for this to be for March, but the ever-fabulous @minstrelofsarcasm got it going right away. In a lot of ways, I think this builds team spirit and some constructive rivalry without feeling we have to go for those big losses and whooshes. Sure, they're fun, but as a group I think we can aim to slowly increase our % of green over the next few weeks. Heck with aiming for 1 pound or 1% - let's aim for minimum 50% green together. We're close! Of course, no shame if there are some gains or static moment - those will always be there and are part of the process of learning to get results. But let that little green reminder whisper in your head when some little "extra" is tempting you.
Feel free to share this link if you have any friends you'd like to invite to join us, or if you are on any of the community forums where someone seems to be looking for a team or group to help them. We have a week to add a few new members, so here it is:
