Friday Weigh-In
PW: 258.1
CW: 253.2
Felt like a very solid week, glad the scale agreed with me! I am currently on line at airport security to head to Chicago. There will definitely be a lot of eating and drinking tomorrow but Sunday is going to be chill/recovery. TGIF, Waistaways!5 -
Nice week @Kali225 .. gotta love when how it feels matches up with the results. Have a great time in Chicago!!
Happy Friday to the rest of the team. What's one healthy plan you have for the weekend ahead?
For me, it will be riding the Peloton.4 -
Happy Friday, I had a massage yesterday, I'm a little sore this morning. It's a co-workers birthday, and she always requests my favorite cake, the costco chocolate cake... So I will have a small piece today. I'm very excited about it... LOL
Great loss @Kali225
My healthy plan for the weekend ahead... We are going to do a hike one day, it's supposed to be sunny and in the 60's all weekend. I am also going to the houseplant extravaganza at the garden center, that's not losing weight healthy, but it's mental health for myself. LOL
Have a great day !

I’ve been definitely yo-yoing and I know why - I’m not committed on the weekends. A latte here, a croissant there, lunch and dinner out, etc. It all adds up.
This weekend, I am going to play some board games with friends and I am committing to myself to not mindlessly snack. To help with it, I will focus on veggies/fruit and protein, and I was planning on making flourless brownies to combat my sweet tooth. I also preplanned my dinner out tonight (paella and a glass of sangria), so that way I’m set up for success.
Workouts have been good. I’ve done two days in a row of strength training and walking with my dog now that the weather is nice. Planning on another strength workout today, then spin tomorrow and yoga on Sunday for 5 workouts.4 -
Well! Friday is here and I have not been! Yesterday was a wonderful, busy, very very long day. It had its downside, but otherwise was excellent.
I have had my old saddle for sale for quite a while - it is a beautiful old saddle in great condition, but the current style of both horse breeds and saddle fitting tends to make it too narrow for a lot of people. I finally had a serious enquiry from someone who has the right kind of horse and ideas about saddle fitting! So I met her yesterday, met her very tall and rangy mare, and dropped it off for her to try for the week. I hope she likes it! Then I was close to where I rehearse with my duo partner, and we had a productive and fun rehearsal for the whole afternoon. Then I drove the rest of the way to Montreal to hear a concert in memory of a colleague who passed away recently. It was so good to see all my old colleagues, hear some music together, and talk about old and new times. I got home after midnight, but it was worth it!
The downside was I did not have time to prepare food in advance, the things I thought I'd be able to find to eat for lunch were not available, and I ended up with some pretty poor choices. I had a healthy dinner, but kept snacking on the long drive home. Because I had bought it. And it was in the car.
Needless to say, my weekend will be time for repair and improvement! I actually skipped breakfast this morning since I snacked until so late that I was not hungry at all. I'll have a salad-based lunch, and go from there. My weekend will not have any skipped workouts or messy meals - hopefully I'll stick to it well! I will also practice more this weekend - the inspiration to get playing more is starting to increase gradually. I was interviewed for an article this morning about playing and teaching music - it helped me to verbalise a lot of my ideas and kick myself in the butt for doing the minimum for a while now. So back to taking it more seriously. Spring energy is going to help a lot.5 -
BTW, the green wave is starting to happen! Yes! Let's use the weekend and beyond to build more green

Happy Friday, Friends!
My back pain has almost completely gone! So much so that I was able to go to my beloved yoga class yesterday morning. Wednesday was my last day as a lecturer and I left college feeling a mix of trepidation and relief.
But when I got home my darling hubby (an amazing sales and marketing whirlwind who also happens to work from home) asked me if I would work with him and deliver all of his AI training for his new clients! Now, I have been very excited about AI and wanted to work in the field for the past year. So I'm busy getting myself trained up and certified in AI applications for business. This is perfect - I'm so happy! I feel that I can look forward to the future again.
And Liselyn (@jugar), you're quite right! I DO know what I need to do to get back on track. And I'm doing it. I'm logging and studiously avoiding refined sugar and upping my water. I've also given up alcohol - I plan to continue to abstain until our wedding anniversary (15th May). I intend to stem the tide.
My healthy plans for the weekend are to be mindful about everything that passes my lips, continue logging and take a walk on Sunday.

I did not like the scale this morning. I will try again tomorrow. I knew I shouldn’t have trusted that nice loss last week. Why am I always so out of sync with this team?5
-
@YinxFed What wonderful news! It sounds like things are falling into place for a new phase! Those lovely building blocks are stacking up into a palace!
@micki48 I don't see you as out of sync with the team - there are always a few up and few down and a few in between. Ebbs and flows - see how it looks tomorrow and you'll be ready to keep on adjusting and working on it. Hang in there3 -
Another week flying to its end - let's do it! Weigh-ins due through Saturday:

Sorry team. Even with that weigh in, it’s better than yesterday. 😐
I am on spring break!!! The weather is gorgeous today. Think I’m going to do some clean up in the yard. Bought some flowers for St. Patrick’s Day.
Hope everyone has a great day.5 -

It is beautiful out this weekend! I went to body pump this morning, then worked in the yard for a few hours weeding and trimming back some trees. Then I donated blood, picked some unhealthy stuff up for easter dessert (I know it's early, but I am hosting this year). Next I read outside, then just took a 45 minute walk. It's amazing that since I've started doing 2- 45 minute workouts per day, now I'm antsy if I sit still too long. Especially when it's sunny and feels like 75F! 🌞
Eating is on track today, along with water. Tomorrow will be my relaxing day, I only have plans to see my husbands family for dinner. His grandma and aunt are in town and it's always nice to see them (even if his grandma has dementia and doesn't remember us).
I hope everyone else is having a great day! Oh and 7 days until my 5k! I hope the weather changes, as they are calling for rain 😕5 -
One week to 5K. Hooray @lauren_989
It's gorgeous here and I need to get out.. going to take my dog for a long walk now!!3 -

That looks like 1.6 pound loss to me! Good going!2 -
It must be that Green holiday! We pulled our average up quite well since last week.
Two more weigh-ins to put in the pot, and we might be heading for the end of the rainbow tomorrow -

Happy St Patrick's Day, Team!
Here's my weigh-in:
PW - 187.9
CW - 187.4
It's only half a pound, but it's half a pound OFF, so I'll celebrate it!
I have watched and logged every single morsel that I consumed this past week and I am still swerving the alcohol. Ben and I had our first board meeting in the pub last night and I had a lime and lemonade (admittedly, not diet lemonade because that stuff is vile!), and we discussed business strategy. It was good.
I'm looking forward to getting back to my workouts next week, and trying a new walking routine.
It's also our first full week of working in a business in which Ben and I are equally invested and both passionate about what we're doing.
As usual, I will be back with my step and workout (only Yoga this week) stats.

Well done on pulling up our socks! Going from 33.33% to 61.9% of the team marking even small losses is a good sign. Anything around 50% is good if you ask me - and it won't always be the same people.
And of course congratulations to our loss leaders @Kali225 @bowens1973 and @Gidgitgoescrzy
I'm bunking out on riding today because I thought it was going to be pouring out all day. Now the sun is out and it's too late to make the trek to the barn, so I'm heading out for a walk.
Remaining Sunday weigh-in:
@lindamartin27 Hope you're still with us! We've missed seeing you lately. I hope I did not miss a message about you being away for a while

Hey team! Hope everyone had a good weekend.
My healthy activity came in the form of walking. Yesterday I went for about 80 minutes and today was just under 30. The weather is just so nice! I didn't get on the Peloton as I was busy doing chores for a lot of the weekend too. We also had some time with friends.
I have had so many different vegetables this weekend.. we got a box of produce at a discount so we've been putting the veggies in omelets and tonight we'll make a side salad to go with our supper. Hitting the spot!5 -
Ok my little veggie fiends - let's get this week going! Monday people, line up -

I'm going to continue the morning reflection from last week's group challenge - I enjoyed giving some thought to the day ahead, and found the statements useful. Feel free to do the same if you like!
The statements to complete are:- What's my mood right now? (come back to this in the evening to see what changed)
- Today, I need to address
- I do not want
- I absolutely will
- I refuse to
- My one piece of advice for myself is
- My one tip for others is
Mine for today:- What's my mood right now? thoughtful, not as antsy as usual
- Today, I need to address movement - making sure to vary and enjoy more of it.
- I do not want to get stuck.
- I absolutely will practice flute and ride Jasper.
- I refuse to eat nuts or flour
- My one piece of advice for myself is to keep exploring.
- My one tip for others is to keep exploring.
