Wow I got back to eating smaller portions and it paid off this week. Now I just need to keep doing it, which is the hard part, LOL.

Am I able to skip this week? My scale broke and I'm hoping to get a new one this week.

@Marcy2890 - Not a problem, what happened to your scale??? You didn't take a baseball bat to it, right?

🤣 I'd be lying if I said I've never been tempted. Have a new one now so I'll be good for my Monday weigh in!

Sorry, I'm late. It's been a crazy week with Easter, and two of my kid's birthdays! I'm in the home stretch of homeschool too. My four younger ones have one week left. My oldest has 4 weeks and a project, Mock Trial in a court in front of a real judge.
WooHoo! 100 lbs for the month of March, way to go team!

    Hi everyone,

    Friday weigh in: 79.7kgs

Made not so good food choices last couple of weeks 🙄. I feel it’s because my weight has been stable for some time even when eating healthy and exercising.
Would be so easy to give up but this week tried refocusing and changing my mindset. It took a looong time to put this weight on and of course it’s going to take time to lose it.
Portion control is not something I do well but will keep trying and stay consistent with aqua aerobic, gym work (engaged a personal trainer) and doing strength, cardio, core and stretch class.

Needing to stay motivated- so any tips appreciated

Well I was supposed to be in Jamaica this weekend but we had a snowstorm that canceled my flight so plans changed. I went to the casino instead and returned some of the clothes I bought for my trip. I’m supposed to have a few more days off but figured I will work instead, we did get a credit so we will have to look at a new time to go. Today I got my house cleaned and now I’m going to go jump on the treadmill, tomorrow I plan on relaxing and getting caught up on my shows and book. I am hoping to loose some weight by the time I go on my next vacation.

@gillwellow - Do you measure anything else besides your weight? Your body could be in a state of recompensation, adjusting to new fat/muscle ratios. It would look like you weren't gaining/losing weight, but you're actually losing fat while gaining muscle, which is something you could tell from measuring your hips and waist, on top of a bunch of other locations if you feel the urge to gather more numbers.

Don't get too used to huge drops--this is probably the colonoscopy talking. But I'll aim to keep losing. Probably won't rejoin step challenge until May but I'll be back to doing the posts next week.

    Weigh In Day: Sunday
    PW (Previous Weight): 149

I am hoping that this is because I went out for a meal last night (probably over calories but literally my first slip up day) and I’m holding some sodium weight which will come off….we will see I suppose!
I need to ensure I don’t get disheartened as this can happen if I don’t see a loss!
    😬

I think the long Easter weekend and the clocks changing at the same time played with my bodyclock this past week. One hour forward shouldn't make that much of an impact but I've been all over the place. I even forgot about two lessons - there were lots of changes (which includes lots of messages) and I obviously got muddled.

Anyway, the new week starts tomorrow and we're in a bit of a heat wave this weekend, 26-28°C (78-82°F), which is lovely but it's early for such temperatures.

Oh, and as much as the flowers are pretty, I'm sneezing like mad 🤧
Here are pics of yesterday's nasal attackers.
