We don't have them in Canada but whenever we road trip to the US, we have to stop! It's just so much fun.

Well, dad passed away peacefully during the night. I was with him in the evening for his last dose of meds, my sister @EvMakesChanges was with him during the afternoon, so we all got good chances to say goodbye, sing songs, and make sure he was comfortable. He had a good, long life and made a lot of people's lives sunnier.
The title of "World's Oldest Living Teenager", as he dubbed himself, has now been passed on!6 -

I just got back from body pump and am eating a quick brunch of eggs with peppers and onions and a side of toast before getting ready for a wedding. Hopefully there will be lots of dancing after a 5 hour round trip car ride!4 -

Another business trip, adopting a kitten, and end of year school stuff for my daughter (already?!?!)has kept me on my toes and out of some routines. So all things considered this number isn't bad. A quick trip this week - road trip away for 2 nights.2 -

It was good to see dad for the last time last night. We arrived just before his late afternoon meds and then had some quiet time with him about 8 hours before he passed. It was nice to sing some songs to him. He wasn’t attached to any external monitors or IVs, which made it easier to see his whole face.
We’ll return home tomorrow and figure out when the service will be in May. Thank you for your kind thoughts and words.5 -
