    I am soooo sorry you guys... I ate a lot this weekend, I lost my streak of 950 days of logging... and I am down in the dumps. But I will be okay soon. I just hate that news feed is gone and I ate a gallon of ice cream this past weekend. Going to the grocery store is so hard now with having to read the ingredients and I am just annoyed with the USA lol.

    Didn't end up going to bingo with Mom, as the day progressed so did my feeling crummy. Another day of eating all my exercise calories - left just 30 calories on the table. Went to PT, another week of no walking (for now). A couple of new stretches to add to my routine. I am hoping for a great day today.

    Have telepathy (read minds) or telekinesis (move things)

    I would love to have telepathy ...I think it would be cool to read minds

    This is a tough one....but, I chose telekinesis, would make my house cleaning a lot easier. lol!!
    As for telepathy, there are some people I would not want to read minds of.

    @scandiao That is a great thought - sure would make cleaning easier. And I agree, I don't want to know what other's are thinking. Think of how sad the world would be if our thoughts were made public. Probably would not hear some nice things, about me, about others, about the thinker.

    Daily Goals for July
    Unpacking!
    I have exercised EVERY muscle in my body over the past two weeks! I had everything planned just the way I wanted it to go > Boxes from the apartment first and then boxes from the storage areas. Unfortunately, the movers did not follow suit and the boxes are all mixed up! I did make both my kitchen and workout area a priority!

    Step Challenge - Goal 8500

    ST = Moderate ~ I will get back to intentional ST soon, maybe as soon as next week.

    7/7 12,090
    7/8 5,511
    7/9
    7/10
    7/11
    7/12
    7/13

    I hope everyone has had a great start to July. Let me get caught up :) I may not reply to all but I'm am reading :)

    Welcome to our new members @carrieneary71 , @scandiao , @judywoody , @RBrown4653 ,@mrsditchen and @Flo_slo_mo. Glad you've joined us!

    My biggest goal is transitioning into part-time work and eventually retirement. I like that I decided to do a gradual transition. I believe it will help on all accounts!

    @iLive2Walk Congratulations on such a great June! Even with a vacation. Your progress is very inspiring. I like that you set a 4lb goal each month. I think that's one way I sabotage myself by setting higher goals and not hitting them. I'm sorry the doctor said no walking for two weeks....BUT... do as they say so you can get back on your feet, sooner, rather than later! Hope your sinus and ear infections clear up soon. It's ok to have those frustrating moments... the great thing I know about you...you never stay there for long! :)

    Famous or Rich? Actually, neither. I have no desire to be famous, and being rich comes with its own set of problems, but if I have to choose, I'll be rich. Honestly, I just want to be comfortable and happy doing the things in life I enjoy ~nothing super extravagant.

    @Megan_smartiepants1970 ~ yuk...find a new doctor! And you did....good for you!

    Grocery Store or Farmer's Market. I'm thinking everything has to be fresher and better quality from a Farmer's Market!!

    Donuts or Coffee ~ Coffee for sure. Funny this question as I had a craving for a donut right before moving. Can't see doing that for a full year!!

    @carrieneary71 ~ Kudos, way to get those steps in! I have an alarm set for 8:30 each evening to check my steps so I can get up and get moving if I need to.

    4th of July traditions ~ We usually cook out in some manner and try to see a fireworks show. Last year we went to a parade with my son & family. They went again this year but I was too deep in boxes, tired and sore.

    @Jimboden3 ~ I hope you enjoy your boating at the lake. It sounds very relaxing,

    If you could get yourself anything, what would you get?
    My main computer is acting up (I'm in IT so I have many). It's my own fault, when at the apartment due to lack of space, I put my Alexa on top of it. I think it was too heavy and now the thing overheats...so I kinda want a new one and I see that AI is being incorporated into the OS. I probably will once things setting down.

    But...the bigger item is similar to you, @Megan_smartiepants1970. I also love cars. I had my dream car until something went goofy. I reacted too quickly and probably should have just bought another of the same make and model. There are so many on the road that it had to have just been a fluke. So I want to go back to a BMW, either the X6 I had or maybe the X4 or X5.

    Have telepathy (read minds) or telekinesis (move things) This is a tough one. I would love to have telepathy but I think it would get me in more trouble than I care for. Imagine reading the mind of someone and it's not positive and it's about you or someone you care very much about....very hard not to react. So.... I think a safer choice for me would be telekinesis! :)

    What is one thing you consider yourself really good at?
    I'm really good at planning and organizing!

    What was the first concert you every went to?
    Luther Vandross

    misplace your car keys or your phone?
    Either...if I misplace my phone, I can find it with my watch, if I misplace my keys I can find it with my phone :) #Mygeekisshowing

    I was bit by a spider Sunday before last and have been so worried about it that I completely forgot about logging this week. I will post my steps shortly. Here’s some grid pics of my spider bite. Hopefully they post in progression. It may have been a brown recluse but I never saw it. I had been working outside at the gazebo. The bite is just above my knee on the inside of my left leg.

    @itlaydee Thank you! The alarm trick is a perfect idea. Too many days I have been just a couple hundred short. I'm going to do it! Good for you making the workout room a priority. Do you have a basement or do you have to use one of your rooms as your workout room?

    I woke up at 3 feeling so bloated so I knew my weight would be up when I got up this morning. Of course my eating has been off since I went away on Thursday. I ended up spending a good bit of the time in the hotel room as my pain was really bad. The 2 hour car ride home was the icing on the cake. Sunday I could barely walk. I was considering going to emergency but they wouldn’t have been able to do anything. The pain has eased off quite a bit and today I am down to about a 6. Lot better than the 9 from Sunday. I can’t wait for the 31st to get this stupid surgery. 21 days to go and counting down eagerly. Today I have to go to Kitchner to look at places for my daughter that is moving back to Canada. I am crossing my fingers that it doesn’t cause the pain to increase.

    Happy belated 4th of July. I watched the fireworks from my hotel room as I had a great view of Detroit. I wish I had thought to go down to the river and watch them with my friends. They were a bit far away but I still liked watching them.

    @iLive2Walk
    Nice loss! I hope you are feeling better. After reading about your hearing loss, I will try to have more patience with my husband. He is at the point still of not admitting that he needs to see someone about it. Everyone in his family has hearing issues and wear hearing aids. My husband is weird. It took him years to agree to go to the eye doctor. He was so amazed when he put his glasses on and realized how clear everything looked. I will just gently suggest getting hearing tests and eventually he will go.

    @itladyee
    How is the new house? All settled yet?

    @lovethyneighbor
    Wow, that looks painful. I hope it is feeling better.

    @myndieet
    Fantastic loss!

    @Megan_smartiepants1970
    Not sure if there is anymore steps you need. If I am missing any let me know. Hope you are healing well from your surgery.

    July 3rd: 3,421

    6th: 6,064
    7th: 5,972
