Friday Weigh in
PW: 152.6
CW: 153.4
There were a lot of ups and downs this week, so I'm not shocked at where it landed. But I'm working hard (now) to get back on track. Hopefully it'll be a better weigh in next week.7 -

I am even more shocked at the weight gain as I was of last week’s loss! We had Chinese last night so I’m sure sodium is at least part of it. My daughter came home for the week and I’ve cooked more, especially since the weather cooled off. I made the first chili of the season and that was outside of my normal healthy-ish meals. We are heading out of town in the morning for a wedding so it will be Sunday or Monday before I can get back on track. In the meantime I’ll just try to up my water intake-at least , as much as possible on a road trip.6 -

wah wah... to make myself feel better i did measure under my pw earlier this week but who knows...actually it's been helpful to weigh everyday and see how things naturally fluctuate. i'm very sensitive to any type of muscle soreness and i've been biking, running and going to the gym. probably why i'm also hungrier.
i made the viral cottage cheese and eggs "flatbread" thing. mine did bend but then cracked so i ate it like pancakes and it was pretty good! 40 grams of protein and i wasn't hungry for hooouurrrs.
i'm setting the intention now, tomorrow will be a good day! go shape shifters!7 -

I'm pleased to see a loss,I didn't over indulge whilst away as we were too busy exploring.
Yesterday I had to empty my bedroom as I had new wardrobes delivered.I am determined to not put everything back in the room.So a ruthless decluttering & organising for me this week.
Wish everyone a great Saturday 😀

I ended up being sick yesterday with a migraine, body aches and just overall feeling crappy so my food choices were not great I think it's from the emotional upheaval with my son's wedding, 2 receptions and my mom's condition and funeral service from the past 2 months where my body just let go
Feeling better today so hopefully that's done and I can finally relax

I've been working overnight shift. I believe that has caused me to gain weight.6 -
Another check in...
The good news is I resisted crackers yesterday. My food was overall was good.
The bad news is what has been a slight ache in my hip has turned very painful, to the point I'm having trouble walking. So I guess no running for a while, which frustrates me. I'll try to do as much walking as I can, but I'm not going to be pushing it.
I weighed myself this morning (official weigh in is on Fridays, but I generally weigh every day). My weight shot up 3 lbs. My food was great yesterday, sodium and carbs were normal, no splurging. So I'm a bit annoyed. Maybe it's from whatever is going on in my hip retaining water? Or from some tummy issues I've been having as a side effect of a medication I'm on. Who knows. But I'll carry on the best I can and trust the process. I know I'm doing what I need to, so it'll all work out eventually.
Have a good weekend, everyone!7 -

here are a few posts/videos about it! i tried it with 2% cottage cheese, 2 large eggs and no seasonings as I wanted to try it without. i blended using a hand stick blender and the plastic cup it came with, rather than messing up my big blender. i ended up having to bake it longer than 20 mins and the top didn't get brown, but the bottom did. it peeled easily off the parchment after cooling a bit. it tasted quite good and soooo much protein.
lmk if you try it!

Garmin arrived in the mail yesterday (DH is the best!) so will be upgrading from the pedometer I have been using for the past 10 months. I started wearing the watch shortly after I opened the box but haven’t connected to mfp yet, probably tomorrow to start the week. Any tips or advice welcomed.

I can't run for now, so walking it is! My hip does feel better today than yesterday, but if it's what Dr Google and I think it may be (bursitis), I may need to take it easy for several weeks. Super bummed about this, but at least I can still walk.7 -

You'll love how well Garmin and MyFitnessPal sync up.
The exercise and steps recorded by your Garmin watch will show up in MyFitnessPal, and the calories consumed in MyFitnessPal will show up in Garmin Connect. (be sure to select Garmin Connect as your step tracker in MyFitnessPal once you have them linked.)
Here are a couple pages explaining how to link MyFitnessPal and Garmin Connect:

If you have any trouble, I'd be happy to help.5 -
Good morning! I'm sorry for the late weigh-in, there's been a bunch of construction in my neighborhood and it's been messing with the internet.

I'm not surprised to see the scale go up this week. There's been a lot of food at work and a lot of life stuff going on. I'll try to do better next week (and hopefully have better internet!)6 -
