Hi all,
I haven't been feeling too good the last couple of days.Ive got a sore throat but as I've been on a plane recently I'm just hoping it's not Covid !
I was going to go for a swim today but don't really feel up to it.I walked to the supermarket & back so got some steps in.

Strong seniors. Yesterday was overcast, grey and intermittent wintry mix☹️ so no walk outside. The oral surgery that was scheduled for Thursday got pushed back to 5 NOV. I have dentophobia, received treatment for it and do a lot better than in the past, so this kind of threw me for a loop. Also spoiled my plan to limit Halloween candy intake 😉. It sometimes takes me a minute to replot course. So, deep breath and carry on.
@Zaxa2021 it’s pretty impressive that you have any energy left after wrangling twin toddlers all day but add in hip pain and still making it to the gym is inconceivable! 🥳 Well Done 👍4 -
Well I was doing really well…woke up this morning no swelling and no pain…got up and got ready to go to labcorp to have blood drawn for next year’s insurance savings at work…after all of the standing I could barely make it back to my car. My neighbor went and ran my other two errands but I have been crying and in pain all day wondering how I will be able to go back to work next week. I’m going to call my boss tomorrow and schedule a tele-health appointment to see what my options are…if you’re a prayer person, please pray for me as I am really scared. @pupowl I cannot get online and sit at my desk…very sorry!

@jessicakrall8 Hello Jessica! First of all, I am glad you will be returning to the weigh in group. I am pretty sure we went on support around the same time, and now we are both restarting at the same time as well! It is hard to decide what to do. Keep weighing in and only having gains, or giving yourself a break. In my experience, the support break never ends well. I think the next time I struggle, I will just keep checking in even though it feels bad.
Don't worry about the sheet, I will keep it updated. Is it back pain or something else going on? Are you scared because of missing work? If you have a half decent boss, he will understand. Rest up, take some deep breaths, it will be alright.6 -

@p8m6bwghh9 Thanks for the shout out. Life does get a little crazy sometimes, but I try to look at the gym as Me Time, so I've come to value that little break (most of the time - there are always Those Days when I just don't want to.).

@Pupowl I think I may join you with the 100 day challenge. I've been doing the 10 day ones for a while, off and on, so I'll try to be more consistent with the 100. And it may be a bit more fun doing it with someone I "know".4 -

I appreciate your well-wishes. Just wish this wasn't a thing. Also, I don't eat that many carbs (because they make me feel terrible).

Well, I'm back to where I was 2 weeks ago. I've had some really good days and some not so good days over the last 2 weeks. I need to work on consistency to make any real progress.
I'm going to meal plan and prep a little this weekend. Last weekend, I made a vegetable and turkey soup that I ate for lunches throughout the week. I really liked having something ready to just heat and eat that I knew was okay calorie wise. So I'm going to do that again.6 -

I've been glued to my desk this week. And there may or may not have been some stress chocolate eaten. In VA this weekend checking on the status of repairs to the house and seeing the grands. Going to pumpkinfest tonight and trunk or treating tomorrow morning. Should be fun. I know I won't be able to wrestle any chocolate away from the 6 year old, but perhaps the 2 year old with share some with the grammie who shares his birth date.5
