It looks that way, Cat. Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family. I hope the dinner goes well in your new, smaller place. We are going to my sister-in-law's house Thursday. Since I'm vegetarian, I'll be bringing Indian leftovers with me for my Thanksgiving meal. :)

Randi, my Daddy raised beef cattle. My brother still runs the family farm. I grew up eating hamburgers for breakfast😂. I can get beef for free.
However, as my weight keeps nudging the scales in the wrong direction and my blood pressure meds keep increasing, I am seriously contemplating trying a vegetarian lifestyle. I did this once before and lost 30 pounds, but it was years ago. Now I also have to worry about bone density with the osteoporosis, and my doc claims I should not restrict calories . I need to find a good plan.

Finally got around to walking my new neighborhood. It was 28 degrees and snowing and I am pitifully out of shape, but I made it 20 minutes. I was out of breath after pulling two little hills. Boy, it doesnt take long for fitness to dissolve if you dont work on it!

No change from last week's ridiculously high weight. :s
One day at a time, Cat. Just keep doing those 20 minutes a day to start, and you'll see your fitness returning.
Daily exercise, water, half pound as goals for this week?

Half pound! Count me in. Guess that means I should weigh in the morning 😂

Up a pound and a half from the last time I weighed. I am at my all time high and I am including the time I was hugely pregnant with a ten pound baby.

Half pound again. Will make the effort.
We moved a month ago. There is still a pile of boxes to unpack in the baement. It is hard to find spaces for all this stuff, so I still make trips to the donation center every other day. I kept too much. Plus, I cant work like I used to. I seem to unpack a few boxes and then i sit down. You should never wait until you are in your seventies to downsize. Make the move before you feel like you have to would be my advice to people younger than I.

Up 0.4. I'm back to a weight that I swore I would never see again. :'(
We moved 14 years ago, and I still remember how awful it was. The good news is that our house is a ranch with a laundry closet on the main level. My studio and my husband's music room are in the basement. We are hoping to be able to stay here. I purged stuff when I retired, and I'm working on another purge now.
    Good luck with the unpacking.

I forgot to weigh this morning. I will try to remember tomorrow.
What kind of art do you do in your studio?
Smart to buy a ranch before you needed to! I wish we had done that.
I am off to pick up my six year old grandson from school. He called me and asked if he could help me shop for his Christmas presents. I thought, well, why not? I know this expedition is going to involve ChicFilA. I have been telling myself all day NO PEPPERMINT CHOCOLATE CHIP MILKSHAKE!

Cat, I have lived in ranches my whole life. When we were shopping this last time, hubbie and I wanted a colonial, not a ranch. I didn't even want to look at this house. Yet when we stepped inside, this house immediately felt like home to both of us. In retrospect, I am glad.
I am an art journalist and a card maker, but more and more, I am working in mixed media on small canvases.
Hope you enjoyed shopping with your grandson and that you were able to resist that milkshake!

I did resist the milkshake! I got unsweetened iced tea. I think by preparing myself alday, I was able to resist the lure of the peppermint chocolate chip milkshake. Whew!
But I have been bad in a dozen different ways since then. Christmas is a hard time to restrict calories.
