Good idea, Cat. I won't walk outdoors if it is at all icy. This morning, the temperature felt like 15 due to all of the wind we're getting. I opted to exercise indoors! I must be getting old.0

Down half a pound

Big storm here and ice covered roads. Living in town is great. We are walking distance of main street. We ventured out and had breakfast at our favorite bakery. I was good with choices and portions and I wouldnt let my husband buy chocolate e’clairs on our way out. 😊1

Great job, Cat! The walkability of your new location sounds great! Still no precipitation here, but it feels like 6 degrees. I was just out filling the bird feeders and have opted for another day of indoor exercise.0

I wont be doing outdoor walks in 26 degrees anymore. My face fingers and toes were numb from the cold and I realized it isnt smart. Going to walk away the pounds with an old DVD tomorrow in the comfort of my well heated basement1

Daughter is having surgery this week and I will be traveling tomorrow so that I can be with her. I'll try to remember to weigh in tomorrow morning, but I won't be able to weigh in again until I return home. She eats a vegan diet with little to no sugar, so I'll be exposed to healthy food at her home, and I should be able to keep up with exercise. I probably won't be checking in while I'm gone, because I really want to focus on my daughter. I'll be thinking of you, though, and cheering you on in my heart.0

I will pray for your travel and daughter’s surgery.1

Thank you, Cat!
Up 0.6 this week.
Hang in there. You know you can do this. I'll check in when I return.0 -
Prayer for you and yours Randi.

Thanks, Randi.
Hope all is well with your daughter0 -
Down 2.7.
I'm back! Daughter's surgery went well, and she is now okay to be on her own. It feels so good to be back at home with hubby and kitty, but now I miss my daughter. My daughter had only healthy foods in her house, so even though my exercise got off track, my eating was very healthy. Now I need to keep this up at home.
I hope the past week or so has gone well for you!0 -
Babysitting grandbabies #7&8 out of town. No tracking. No exercise.
Try again next week1 -

Cat, I hate that I am abandoning you, but I'm leaving MFP. I wish you a long, healthy, and happy life.0

Hi Cat. I'm back if you will have me. During my hiatus from MFP, I managed to put on a few more pounds. I'm really, really good at that. Fortunately, I haven't yet reached my all-time high. Hope you are doing well. Gerri logged into MFP on March 1st. Maybe she is thinking about coming back?✌️

@rstanford3 WOOHOO!
I have missed you! So glad you are back. Wouldn’t it be great if gerri came back too? I feel more motivated when our group is going strong.
Challenge for the week: be mindful of sugar. Watch portion size. Exercise minimum 20 minutes for 5 days.

yesterday was a good day.
Hit my calorie goal and took a 20 minute walk outside. Did strength and flexability exercises I learned in physical therapy. Mindful of sugar, but did allow myself a 90 calorie Breyers chocolate ice cream cup for my treat.

Great job, Cat! I'm not counting calories at this point, but my eating was controlled, and I walked, did yoga, and lifted weights.

Another good day. Again, I'm not counting calories, but my eating did not go off the rails. I had a good walk in beautiful weather this morning then an afternoon yoga class followed by leg weights. Hope you had a great day.

randi, I wish I could find your dedication to exercise. I think I must be the laziest person on earth. All of my hobbies are sedentary. I do miss my elliptical machine I gave away when we downsized. It was the only exercise I sort of liked.
