@Dianedoessmiles1 - TY. Lots of hours driving later, we are home safe. Tuckers show was incredible. So elated we went. Got home and a close family member & friend has passed. Family coming this weekend to attend his celebration of life. DS coming tomorrow to train me on some programs for his business. Oh yeah, and Tuckers on Jimmy Kimmel tonight. Alarm set!

@gouldsgranite Awww, I WISH I saw this last night. Though I DO NOT watch Kimmel or any of the talk shows now (They used to be funny and entertaining), I would have watched it to see Tucker!! I am so happy you got to go and see him! So sorry, hon, to read about your friend/family member who passed away. As we age, it happens more and more, but it never gets any easier; sometimes it is just so hard. How did the training go today?

@Kurtize Same with bullies of ANY age!! If we give them any attention, they do it more, but if we ignore them, they hate that so much, they slink off as the snakes they are. I hadn't had to deal with a bully myself in an eon of time, but I help others who do. I was surprised by an 84 year old friend the other day told me she was being bullied by another 80 plus year old. At what point so some GROW UP!!??? They do not.1 -

Hi all and happy May 4th, had a great weekend. Went to a community choral and Instrumental concert and it was great, I really enjoyed and the director Sylvia is so talented, she plays the harp, piano, organ, drum and has the most beautiful voice. Everyone was talented but she is amazing.
Today went to the Foursquare church with a friend of mine. I really enjoyed the service, it is different then what I am use to but did like it. Then at home, washed bedding and clothes and not relaxing and catching up. Hugs and blessings.

@Dianedoessmiles1 thanks for the kind words. I did have to take a break from rowing yesterday though. My body said it needed a break and I don't feel bad about it at all! We all have to listen to our bodies so we don't overdo. Even one of my trackers said I've probably been doing too much lately! LOL!

But, it's been a bit, that is a weakness for ME! I KEEP meaning to do the chair yoga!! I've got the video saved, I have my chair ready (straight back with no sides), it's for seniors, and I badly need it!! My social life needs to SLOOOooooowwwwww down!! AND IT WILL!!!

Weigh in was a maintain and I was hoping for a loss but I did eat late night snacks so I think there was a little loss. I was able to control portions for the most part pretty well! Overeating does seem to be decreasing with much less refined grains and added sugars! I took two walks this week too so it is nice to be getting back in the swing of that. As well as got off energy drinks and coffee again and back to tea. So good changes all around.
I feel pretty good overall. Better than I have in weeks I will pop over and read week 5 decluttering now. There is a war in my mind lately, for sure. I also have a pedometer I could pop on… Right now I am talking a walk around the block and chipping away diligently at the to dos as a win. Thanks again! I think the cumulative effects of these changes will begin to show by the end of this seasons challenge.

@changewewanttosee OH, how COOL!! Though you didn't see the effort paying off in weight loss, oh it is working!! Your NSV (Non Scale Victories) are showing!! GREAT JOB in progressing with the healthier eating, slow and slow does it for the long term when we make changes. It goes very well with your screen name!!! Exciting to read you are doing well with no energy drinks. Those foolish things are marketed so well, one doesn't usually stop to look at the sugars, the chemicals in them, the high amount of caffeine in them. I was drinking 6 to 8 cans of Pepsi a day, I was dealing with a lot of anxiety, NO WONDER I WAS!! Off them, OFF anti anxiety meds! A calmer life. Note the small changes because you are HAVING them!! WOOHOO!! TY TY TY for writing this! You've made me smile!

@Patti241 Glad to hear the day is okay. We FINALLY had SUNSHINE today and are expecting tomorrow. ABOUT TIME!! It's in the low 60s with wind. Feels cold for May, but I prefer that over the heat!! I'll see when it warms up how I do on the new med. MAYBE this year I can breathe. That'll be GREAT if so!!
