@macrat12 I don't tell you every day how much I appreciate your posts with affirmations, history, etc. but I love reading them and I look forward to each one. You put so much of yourself in these posts, and I can't imagine where you get all your information. I'm a recently retired college prof in psychology and women's studies. @Kurtize It was a GREAT DAY!!! So nice out!! We hit 74 and sunny!! I didn't really "need" anything from the store, but I did my med, so I walked down. I could have easily had anyone pick them up for me, or I could have gotten them on the way out tonight with friends for the meeting I go to on Tues night. BUT I wanted the sweet walk, and happy I did so! Good to see you also had a good time.

Good Morning VIP friends:

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Sorry I have been MIA for like the whole Month. It has been a rough month. With Daniel being born and several other things I have been off my plan in every way and have gained weight back. I stopped working out and went on sweet tooth binge for quite a while. I still have sweets in the house and I am not sure if this is all perimenopause or what but I am craving sweets and junk all day every day. So much so that I have been making myself get upset stomach because of it. I feel like I am going crazy with these craving because I feel rude if I cannot get my sweets. Like I just wanna be rude and nasty when I cannot get them. My moods have been all over the place lately. The only constant is going to see my grandson every week since he was born. Which is literally 3 times, but still. Here is an updated photo of the angel. He is getting so big. My daughter goes back to work next week and she is not wanting to leave him but cannot afford to be off work any longer. Luckily a friend is going to be watching him and that friend is on her way to work. So no out of the way driving or anything.

On the home front I have been working overtime this week, and trying to work as much over time as I can. Which is hard for me with Fibromyalgia, but I am working it and then resting as much as I can on my off time. Which is not much. Tuesday and Wednesday I worked from 8:30 to 5 and then 6 pm to 9 pm. So I ended up with 22 hours on 2 days. Monday we had off due to memorial day. So I got holiday pay for that day. Joe and I started a garden. We signed up for a plot in our community garden and it is going well. We have 3 different types of lettuce, cucumbers, zucchini, green peppers, tomatoes, and strawberries, and broccoli. Everything but the tomatoes are growing already and can be seen outside the soil. I am anxious to see how much we get. I have offered to my daughter everything we have in access. Trying to help out. I know money is going to be tight for them for a while.

So here is my update. I hope you all are doing well. I did read everyone's posts. It is just too much to respond to everyone.

@Tabatha_Cain I had been thinking that Daniel must have been born. Awwww what a cutie!!! Awwww, look how dark his hair is. SWEET BOY!! Oh, no doubt you'll spend every moment you can with him. My GD lives an hour away, she works 40 hours a week. Roman (soon to be 8) is in school for a few more weeks, his father has him 3 weekends a month. There's NOT much Grandma in person time. As Daniel gets older, though no doubt you'll be talking to your D, Sarah and I often hehehehehe use FaceTime because Awwww I gotta spoil them boys as much as I can with positive words. They are very fortunate in that Sarah is also this way.
@Kurtize, I WISH this were a relaxing weekend. It's not going to be. Tomorrow, meeting with friends to eat (of course!) at a fish place we all like. I hope yours is!

@Tabatha_Cain aww, he's so cute! I'm delighted you get to enjoy him. They grow way to fast! I'm hoping to take my GD and the 2 boys to the local amusement park in August. For that one day (likely 3 hrs) I'll drop $240! How parents do this throughout the summer/year ekkkk!
