    @Veta2018 - I'm sometimes guilty of finishing other people's sentences too! I'm better about it than I used to be. I suspect that when I do it, it's because someone is taking too long to get to the point!

    @baodell17724 Wow , interesting!

    @TeresaW2024 I hate lunges . Boy, do I hate them! Comic-Con is TODAY! I am so excited. OH gosh, that's expensive but at least you have your air now!

    @Digger61 Congrats on the loss !

    @Veta2018 It was ! Wow, that's hot out. Especially to do tree work in! Sounds like a mindful walk. I love Italian sausage sandwiches from the fair. I used to get them at every street fair/fair but since I had surgery, I cannot have those things. That's okay but I do miss them every once in a while! I hope the picnic goes well.

    @micaroo4 @Veta2018 Sometimes I ramble and I can tell when people are getting impatient with this . That makes me even worse lol, I tend to ramble more when I am consciously trying not to ramble!

    Hi all. I had a nice day yesterday: I went for coffee (twice), went to a new bar that only serves non-alcoholic drinks and had a nice drink, made jewelry and t-shirts. I also made a list of things to bring to Comic-Con: a bunch of things to make myself comfortable, should my knees give me problems. Things like Voltaren, Extra Strength Tylenol, disposable ice packs, etc. I'm also bringing my knee brace. We are taking the bus downtown to the convention center. I wanted to drive so we would have a place to rest but my husband doesn't think we could find parking. I do think we could because I have a handicap placard. But oh well. I'm sure we can rest somewhere. Here is a pic of my bracelets and necklace I made for today. The necklace features a mid-century modern cat and the beads are dyed quench crackled agate.

    Tracked yesterday? YES

    Sunday

    Starting weight: 132.8 lbs.

    Current weight: 136.2 lbs.

    Goal weight: 120 lbs.

    The week started off good. Towards the end of the week, I made a lot of bad food choices. Yesterday, I had 3 White Claws at the picnic and we ended up going back to the fair again last night.

    @trooworld - The bracelets and necklace look great. I hope your knees don't give you too much trouble so you have an enjoyable time at Comic-Con.

    Would anyone like to be my partner for this weeks walking challenge?

    @laurelfit57 - The balloon videos of Ty are SO cute! I like shopping, but 7 hours at the mall is a long time- clearly you are a wonderful grandma

    @trooworld - Ugh about your car, and I LOVE your Comic Con creations! Hope it was an awesome day, free of knee pain

    @TeresaW2024 - oh goodness, I'm glad your air is fixed, wish it wasn't so expensive. The gift basket sounds awesome- what a sweet gesture, I would be crying too. I hope that Joe's shower went well today.

    @DrewsAnna - have fun camping!

    @Katmary71 - LOVE, LOVE the kitten pix. I was wondering how you could tell a kitten had dwarfism, but I see her legs are shorter than the others. They are all cuties and lucky to have you to get them off to a good start

    @19shmoo69 - that was a great answer your wife gave you

    @allimalli - it's OK if life slows down your progress for awhile, soon you'll be back at it

    @baodell17724 - Congrats on making it to Onederland!

    @Veta2018 - How awful what happened to your uncle. I hope he is OK. Yay for a good work out! I am also working on my interrupting habit…..

    @AustinRuadhain - Congrats on being #1!

    Well….. DD is moved out. It looked like she had a LOT of stuff and she moved into a third floor walk up. It went much better than I expected. Her BF did a LOT of work. She moved in with a girlfriend and her place is really nice. I washed up most of her kitchen items and put them away for her. We had everyone over for a dinner and now she is really, truly gone. DH and I are understandably feeling emotional today. However we are very excited for her new beginning- new job, new home- she's been ready for this for a long time.

    We also found out that DS has a job offer and will be making substantially more than he is now, so that was wonderful news.

    My kids both have bachelors degrees, but were unable to find jobs after graduation……Neither one is using their bachelor's degree for their job…….I don't think this is the place to discuss the job market, but I'm not a fan.

    Wishing everyone a good week!

    @trooworld sorry about your car, that is so frustrating! very cool you are going to comic-con, but your avatar should have been my first clue!

    What’s one small daily habit you’ve built that has had a big impact over time?

    Not small for me, but not bingeing after dinner for the last 71 DAYS has had a huge impact. I had this shame→binge→shame spiral that lasted years. I am so grateful to The Mission Slimpossibles for supporting me.

    @Katmary71 I'm going to be away from internet tomorrow (yay) so here is my weigh-in early:

    Monday Check in: 📥

    Days without eating after dinner: 71

    Starting Weight: 214.7

    Previous Week: 200.2

    Current Weight: 200.0

    Hi 🐝

    @trooworld that cd/dvd bracelet is so cool.

    TToday, I have to start prepping food and get the refrigerator turned on in the trailer, so I can fill ice cube trays. Today &tomorrow are going to be very busy days. I JUST found out there's going to be 10-15 more people than I thought, so I have to rethink food. I hope my anxiety can handle about 25-30 people 😬😳

    I wish I could participate in the walking challenge, but I'm not going to have any cell service up in the mountains.

    Y'all have a great day 😀

    @trooworld Great planning for Comic-Con I’m sure that will help knowing you’re prepared for anything! The handicap placard is hit or miss depending on how many older people are somewhere (like Costco you never get close disability parking at least not here! I’m glad you got the chance to craft while having coffee how fun. I love your jewelry hope you have the best time ever! Beautiful necklace.

    @TeresaW2024 Oh my goodness what a hectic situation needing to keep an eye on Joe when the women came! Very sweet of them I’m glad you have them in your life it’s so thoughtful how much they geared it to you. Hope there’s no drama today and the Zoom goes well!

    @Veta2018 I can’t walk much or I’d join you in the challenge, you got this!

    WAY TO GO MISSION SLIMPOSSIBLES ON 2ND PLACE FOR THE WEEK BY POUND AND PERCENTAGE!!!! @AustinRuadhain Great job leading the entire Fat2Fit group! @Cornanda @digger61 @19shmoo69 Great job leading the pack !

    @Cornanda Thank you! We’re suspicious of Raye’s legs and her head/facial features. Hugs congratulations to your daughter but hugs for feeling emotional that would be so hard. That’s great news on your son’s job offer!

    @bobboyardee Incredible job on 71 days without bingeing!

    @DrewsAnna Wow that’s a huge increase in people good luck figuring it all out!

    Hi friends! Been trying to get caught up on processing stuff from the garden, the dehydrator’s been busy! Made some sauce, lemon basil lemonade, and lemon chicken breasts and put away a bunch of seeds. One of the kittens is getting worse instead of better, someone’s coming to check the poor guy out tomorrow. Have to get to bed have a great Monday!

    @AustinRuadhain Woo hoo ! Congrats on 1st place!!! And congrats to the whole team for achieving 2nd place! Another shout-out goes to @Cornanda and @Digger61 for making it onto the leaderboard . Way to go!

    @TeresaW2024 Yeah I generally don't do them because my knees are so sensitive . There are other leg exercises I like better! Exactly, lots of other exercises I can do. Thank you! I didn't end up wearing it because I wore fushia leggings and that wouldn't match lol. I wore a Wonder Woman necklace I made that features a Golden Age image of WW and the beads are made up of African records (albums) pressed into the shape of beads! Thank you! I'm sorry about what happened with Joe. That must be really scary when that happens. What a nice basket they gave you! Very thoughtful items. And yes, generous. I hope all went well the rest of your day. Big HUGS to you and Joe.

    @Veta2018 Congrats on the loss ! Thank you! I survived lol! I had a good time.

    @txcritter69 @sleepygirl79 @19shmoo69 Congrats on the losses !

    @Cornanda Thank you ! Not free of knee pain, but an awesome day! That's good the move was successful. Here's to a new chapter of her life! Congrats to her and to your DS on his new job. I hear you.

    @bobboyardee Thank you , it is! Hahahaha yes, nobody picked up on that avatar! I am so proud of you for not bingeing. You are doing great!

    @DrewsAnna thank you ! I hope you have fun on your trip.

    @Katmary71 Thank you , yes! I did have fun. Thanks! I hope the kitten is okay. Good luck with all you have to do!

    Hi all. Comic-Con was fun. I walked a LOT (over 22,000 steps) and ended up using my cane about halfway through the day, I was glad I brought it. We mostly just walked around the exhibit hall. We did go to a panel but mostly to just sit and rest. I bought some things: a Wonder Woman t-shirt, some books, some bookish socks, some cool spooky metal bookmarks, some enamel pins by this cartoonist that loves pugs (they are pug pins), some gifts for my nephew. We got there at about 9 and left at 3 pm. I was exhausted when we got home. I forgot to turn my alarm off today so I got up at 4! I am off today to recover and take my car to the auto body repair shop. I didn't take many pictures at Comic-Con, it's so crowded and you are rushed along in the crowd so sometimes it's hard to take pics. But here are a few.

    Tracked yesterday? YES

    @Cornanda That is wonderful that both your kids are doing so well. Joe’s granddaughter just graduated from college and is having a tough time finding a job in her field of choice, too. Hopefully, she will find something soon, as she is eager to move out of her parents' home. 😀

    @Katmary71 I love anything lemon! I’m sorry that one of the kittens isn’t getting better. I hope he gets well soon. ☹️

    Good morning! Well, we didn’t get Joe’s haircut or a shower yesterday. He was just so weak all day that I decided to postpone it to today. But it has to be done because he has two doctor’s appointments tomorrow. I’m a little scared about how he will do getting out of the house twice, and it’s going to be a million degrees outside, so that will be unpleasant. But I have to get him to his primary so we can talk about hospice. My Zoom meeting went OK. We spent three hours discussing a new mission statement, but we still haven’t settled on something that we all agree with. We have homework to come up with three mission statements each before our next meeting. I’m using ChatGPT, who is my new best friend and knows ALL the THINGS!!!! 😎

    Hi 👋

    Tomorrow is the big day. Today, I have to go to the grocery store & Costco for a few things. Fry up some some chicken and finish packing the trailer. Water all the plants. I'm already tired thinking about it, lol...... 😂😂😂 I talked to my sister about the food situation and we are only meal planning with immediate family. That is a sure relief!

    I had pizza for dinner last night and the scale sure reflected that this morning. I am taking fruit & veggies camping. Hoping to be a little good. I'm also going to do my injection tonight instead of Wednesday and get back on schedule next week.

    WEIGH IN UPDATE
    WEIGH INS DUE TODAY From
    @vegan4lyfe2012 @laurelfit57
    Reminder To Weigh In Tomorrow To @TeresaW2024 @FushiaKat

    @gemwolf110 I changed the weigh in but you're still down as a NWI (no weigh in) for last week, I asked to have it changed to late weigh in instead.

    NOTE ON WEIGHING IN LATE (to everyone not just those weighing in late this week): Please do your best to weigh in on time, I have to close all my windows I come on and set up to log everyone's weights and reply to everyone to go report a late weigh-in in another thread and do what I can on the spreadsheet then we have another person who changes the spreadsheet for you when you're late so you aren't dropped. The week is closed on Saturday night and you're too late to count on the totals after that plus you're taking an extra 10 minutes out of two other people's time. Luckily it hasn't been happening very often lately which I really appreciate! Keep in mind YOU chose your weigh in day and you're part of a team, we can really use your timely weigh ins for percentage of team in the green and all the other cool stats done. I know stuff happens and I'd rather go report someone late than have someone quit or end up dropped but I'd much rather use my time to catch up with all my amazing friends!

    I was planning to come back and catch up after feeding the kittens and discovered Raye, the little girl we suspected was a dwarf kitty, wasn't doing well and had a high fever so tried getting water in her and after no improvement the experienced volunteer came by and we gave her fluids. She took her home and when I woke up in the middle of the night I checked my phone and saw she didn't make it. The woman with 3 from the group mine are from lost one Sunday. I have one who was bad Sunday but a little better now I didn't see this coming with my Raye of sunshine. They're thinking the kittens have an awful virus, she was eating and playing at 3 so to go downhill that fast in a couple hours is shocking.

    Today (Tues) I have my allergy shot and getting work caught up then I'm hoping to find some ways to boost their immune systems, first goal is getting a little more sleep. I'm on antibiotics and feel queasy or else I'd be stuffing my face. Have a good Tuesday.

    @TeresaW2024 I'm sorry Joe was so weak . I hope all goes well getting Joe to the doctor's appointments today. Three hours for a meeting is RIDICULOUS! I would not be able to take it. Do you have your camera on while the meeting is taking place? I think I'd be doing a puzzle or something while it was going on lol.

    @AustinRuadhain Congrats on the loss ! Great progress and tracking.

    @Katmary71 Thank you for the reminder about late weigh -ins. And thanks for handling the weigh-ins, I know it's a big job! I'm so sorry about Raye. I hope none of the other kittens get the virus. Get some sleep, my friend! I hope you feel better today.

    Hi all. I am still in pain from Comic-Con: my hips are very sore and so are my hamstrings (although that is from working out not CC). I'm walking like I'm an 90 year old! I dropped off our car at the repair shop yesterday. It's going to take until Friday to get it back. I have a rental car until then. The rest of the day was nice: we went for brunch, came home and I read some. I made dinner for myself: Vegetarian Peanut Soup. It's a recipe I've made in the past and enjoyed; it's a West-African inspired peanut soup from a blogger called Cookie + Kate. This morning, I have to go for the follow up diagnostic mammogram and then to work.

    If your future, healthiest self could give you advice today, what would they say?

    My answer: My future self would tell my current self to keep going, that I am soooo close to my goal and I WILL make it. That consistent actions are better than pedal-to-the-metal actions. That drinking water is as important as exercising. And to go get it!
