I learned some good tips from the Atomic Habits book discussion last night. It was so nice to meet other MFP/F2F community members and we talked about how important it is to have a supportive community while trying to build positive habits. Everyone agreed that our MFP group helps encourage us to improve our nutrition/eating habits and exercise routines.
Thanks so much to @nancyinmiami (and @jessicakrall8) for all the work to make our first book club session a success!
The question prompts were excellent to get us thinking and interacting on “The Page Turners and Portion Burners” discussion page and during our Zoom meeting last night, and I appreciate all the behind-the-scenes work that makes the opportunity possible—
- creating new MFP pages,
- promoting the book club to other F2F group members beyond the Shape Shifters
- keeping track of the members and contact information,
- coordinating on days/times that work for most people who are interested,
- selecting the books,
- writing thoughtful conversation starters
- engaging everyone in shared learning,
- and more!
I appreciate all the team leaders and motivators that support our F2F teams and keep everything running smoothly on MFP!

@PatriceFitnessPal sorry I missed it - I was in bed early after receiving a cortisone injection late yesterday afternoon for my knee swelling to calm down the arthritis- I was exhausted

I'm so happy with my success this month! I think I finally got the scale moving after a few months of bouncing around the 143-145 range. There have been slight changes to my diet, but the main change has been an increase in running. I'm really hoping to be able to break through to the 130's in August.

This month's LTD: ( ↓1.9 lbs; 0.74%)Ironically, I weighed 253.7 this morning (probably 253.6 if I hadn't mindlessly drank some water before weighing), but excesses last weekend and my 7-day average did me in. I was hoping to make "five weeks in the green".)
