Update:
- dw done, waiting for it to cool to unload
- Sheets changed, all sheets (ours and camper where Hannah and Jonah were) are in the washer
- Worked a little on co-pilot have more to do
- took a shower at lunch instead of working out so I can go get my fingers/toes done after work instead of working out! :)
Had 2 good meals, looking forward to dinner… :) I think my ring didn't count all my steps for my morning walk, about 2000 less, which I'm upset about! :( Ok, back to "work"

Yessss, loving your positivity and inspo !! Sorry for the quick answer, scattered today. Off to PF in a bit. Might to a Flex workout first. ~ Xx

Happy Tuesday! No worries about the short post! It's all good! Hope PF and Flex workouts were good!
Yesterday I channeled my inner MK and went to Dollar Tree and got several (4 single, 2-3 subject) notebooks to help with my Social media planning. LOL I keep asking Copilot the same stuff over and over and I don't have a printer, so … analog it is! :) LOL I'm picking out fun recipes to try and once I get them on index cards, I can start planning out cooking videos. Right now I think my next one will be Ice cream and "hard sauce". :)
Fingers and toes are done, got a dusty blue for toes and a bit of a plum for the fingers. Very fall colored!
This morning I trimmed up the outside spices (basil mostly!), replanted some basil volunteers to start living inside. I plan on over wintering my basil and rosemary, so will see how I do this year! LOL I did not get my before work walk done (it was 54!!), so will walk at lunch.
Today's plan:
- unload/reload DW
- clean table (again!) so I can use it for planning recipes! :)
- Clean main bathroom (didn't do it yesterday)
- Work on planning videos, etc
- Figure out a good place that I have a good backdrop to do talking videos (Thoughts on 75 soft, etc)
- Clean counters/stove to make 1 cooking video
Ok, that's good enough for now….

haha, love it baybee !! I hope the new notebooks are pretty, and the plottin and plannin go swimmingly! Xx
I traded a PF visit (so I could do 1/2 of my 5 mi bike ride) for doubling up on Flex, and doing my PTEs at home. Def hitting PF today tho, bc it's ST day in my sketched out planned sprint-to-blackout-bingo by next Wednesday ;-). That's my summer interrim break one, not the Harry Potter themed ones for the next 8 weeks. It's do-able, but a bit frenzied :p. If I stick with squares as is, I'll finish on Tue (last day). If I switch squares down from PTEs x 2, PF bike ride x 1 (5 mi), to PTEs x 1, PF bike ride x 1 (5 mi), I can finish by Sunday. I might do that … we'll see.
Loving all your plans, goals, jaunting about on a summer weekend, and all of it ! (WTG on your mani pedi, and your gardening, too!) Saving your YouTube for tonight, looking forward to checking it out.
Cheers! ~ mk :)

Good morning, Happy Tuesday ! Whew, got those last 4 PTEs done after 11p last night. I had to fight my self to get it done. I don't remember these being so difficult 🥴. Shouldn't have skipped so many weeks during knee injections, then Ren-Faire-ing, then recovery :p.
Full 12 exercise set, taking me 60m+!!, Sun-Mon-Tue so far this week. I have them pencilled in for today (Wed), Thu, {off Fri}, Sat, Sun, Mon, Tue. The actual program is 4x/wk, not 6x/wk 😳🤣.
Gotta get in three more STx3 (upper, lower, core) by next Tue, too (last day of the Break Bingo board). I had thosed pencilled in for yesterday (Tue), Thu, Sat, but I skipped yesterday. And keeping in mind tht you really should take a rest day bw working the same muscle groups, I was looking at today (Wed), Fri, Sun … except Fri is supposed to be my {rest day} :p. I'm considering doing it today, tmw, and Sat, thus violating the '{rest day} bw workouts' rule of thumb, but keeping my finish STs by Sat and {rest day on Fri} intact. We'll see …
Aaaand, last but not least, I also have 3 more PT bike mi sesh's to tick off too. I was looking at splitting that into half per day, from Tue-Thu, {rest day Fri}, and the rest of it half per day Sat-Tue, buuuuutttt, I dunno. We'll see how the STs go. I might want to just bite the bullet and do the full 5 mi sesh's when I'm at PF for the STs, rather than make a trip there every day for 1/2 of the bike sesh's ….
See, Jen, this is yet another reason why it's a bad, bad, no good, don't do it, bad, bad, bad idea to let yourself 'make stuff up' later :p. Hah! I mean, I know this, but I still do this. sigh.
~ mk :)
Oh, PS! I still have one more Flex workout to do, too :p. Kinda 'duffing' that. Did the 7-min workout yesterday, instead of my planned 22-min workout, and going to do the 7-min workout yet again for my last (of four) Flex workout squares ;-).

Ummm, Wednesday! That was W done day, not Tuesday :-p.
Did the full boat - all 12 PTRs, stretch video, 5 mi spinning, ST, lower & upper/core weight machines circuits.
My legs are FEELING it! Def not doing a back-to-back ST, so iksnay in the ursThday plan for another ST sesh. Also not skipping Friday rest day! I guess I'll do ST on Sat & Mon. That still works - last day is Tuesday.
Bit of insomnia , if you're here on Thursday, you'll be able to see by the time ;-).
1 -
LOL Happy Thursday! Sounds like you've been busy, AND I know you want to get it all done, but don't overwhelm yourself or push yourself too far. Give yourself grace if you need to! You don't want to hurt yourself again! Sorry about the insomnia! I actually slept really well (score 89!) last night even with a shot of espresso at 7:30pm! :) LOL
Yesterday was a "busy" day at work, actually had to do an incident in the new way and I was almost in tears because someone dropped it on me and jetted, I reached out like she said I could if I had questions, but she ignored me. I had to go public and ask her or leaders to join so I could ask questions. Sigh….. All a learning curve and you can't learn until you do it, so it's ok, just frustrating.
I'm so excited!!! I got us set up to do a cabin in the woods Saturday night! We are going to a really pretty part of TN and will probably do some hiking Saturday and Sunday! :) https://www.marriott.com/en-us/hotels/bnacx-postcard-cabins-dale-hollow/overview/
Got my walk in before work, it was cold and dark, but I made it! :)

Happy Friday! Well, yesterday afternoon when different than normal! The new company finally felt they could trust us enough and today we start working their tickets! We will be folded into their schedule soon (not sure when) and it's pretty complicated and I'm not sure I will like it. What I know so far: I currently work M-F 7-4, on-call every 3 weeks. Their schedule is 4-10's (all over the place on days/times), will have to work weekends every 7 weeks with a day off the week before/after that weekend to make up for it. I heard something about switching from days to afternoons, as well as potential on-call every 14+ weeks…? So… we'll see how they decide to slot us….Oh, they also are 30 min lunches instead of 1 hour like we currently have, so lunch walks are out of the question now….
On to today…. Will walk at lunch! ;) Might as well keep it up while I can! :)
LOL Well, I thought I hit post…. I got my walk done, I got darks done, hanging, waiting on lights to finish!

Happy Saturday!
I'm gonna finish that board by Tuesday, still on track (tho it's been challenging, to say the least!). Resting my legs yesterday and today, for the most part, other than steps and gastoc stretch on wall exercise.
Wow, work schedule sounds like a thing! I can see pros and cons. Are you feeling generally positive, or generally negative about it?
Slept like a fruit fly last night. This week has been not stellar, sleep-wise ;-).
0 -
Happy Tuesday! Hope your board is almost complete! Hope the resting went well and you are energized to push through! I think I'm more negative about the schedule right now until I fully understand how it works and what I will have to work.
What a reset weekend we had! We walked around a lake on Saturday, the cabin was adorable and did some star gazing Saturday night, Sunday we hiked 4.5 miles to a water fall and viewing 2 natural bridges!
Spent the day with mom and dad Monday, now I'm trying to work on a menu and getting things planned for next week. I will be going to mom and dad's Monday night through Saturday morning. Scott and I have the James Taylor concert next Friday and it's near mom and dad, so we'll leave from there, spend the night and go home Saturday. WHEW!!!!
Today I'm listening to a work troubleshooting call and will work on menu planning, etc. I also need to swap sheets, get dw unloaded, clean off table, etc…
1 -
ooooo, how fun! That walkbridge is adorable, you and Scott look wonderful, and wow that cabin is cute! Is it a tiny house? I'd love to see a pic of the outside, too. I love the whole tiny house craze, some super cute places to stay in feature them, on VRBO (like the Shire! lol). 4.5 mile hike, with waterfalls - NICE !! Oh gosh, all week at your parents. WFH is kinda great like that tho, isn't it?
Two more squares to go, and today is the last day!
~ mk :)

Happy Wednesday! I DETEST heights, so that bridge was swingy and terrifying! :) But I made it over it… TWICE!!! yes it's a tiny house, Will share the outside in a minute. Hope you got your 2 squares done! I bet it was a relief! And yes, WFH is wonderful this stage of life, for sure!
Well, 2 days of "go ahead, work our incidents" was pulled back today! I finally took the plunge and worked an IN all on my own today and within 15 min of closing it we were told not to do that anymore, back to the work we were doing last week, so, nothing…. Today I will focus my energy on the house… I'm so irritated….
Day 2 of 75 soft is underway. I did manage to get day 1 complete yesterday! :)
- sheets are in the wash
- tennies that got muddy from the hike are sprayed and ready to wash
- working on decluttering my makeup/makeup bag(s) that sit all over the bathroom edges.
- Listening to Linkedin Learning on how to prompt AI for tech writing skills…
Meeting in 5 minutes to learn why they slapped our hands….
0 -
Good Luck with meeting !! WTG on completing it yourself, can't take away that achievement, no matter what happens going forward :D ! And …. wooohooooo on starting your 75-soft 🥳. Did you bake in Pass Days, and did you film a start vid? :D
I did 6 miles on the bike at PF, my planned 2/3 of PTEs routine, and my planned two weights machines circuits also at PF (lower, and upper/core). I booked 3 free trainer sessions with PF's Personal Trainer, Stretch, Upper, and Core. I have a lot of Lower work, but only a shared Upper/Core ST circuit. Time to expand (actually, it's been time for months, I've just not done it :p). I think I may book a one one one personal training 60 min session next week to have the trainer work up personalized Upper and Core circuits for me. I got my lower and upper/core circuits from the previous trainer last February.
ooooooo I feel ya on that bridge! And YES, Bingo blacked out! Today is rest/recovery day, AND clearing the Bingo sheet to repurpose it for the mini-intramural Sprint to the New Year Monthly Bingo Boards, and wkly Goals tracker game with a few of my F2F teammates.

Well, meeting went as expected. No explanation about why they pulled us back. Some of it sounded like we were given permission by the duty managers, but the director hadn't signed off yet. Our boss also told us that they are going to implement 3 "phases" of training (like we haven't been training for 5 months) so that we know their processes forward and back before the director will sign off on us getting to work their incidents. Sounds to me like the director doesn't want us to take incidents because of what he told us originally "there's no plan to RIF anyone in 2025. I don't know what 2026 will bring, though"…. so I think this is his way of pushing the can down the road until they lay us off.
I had my meeting with my work mentor today and was in tears talking about it. She was gobsmacked. She gave me a couple ideas to start looking internally for a job. I really don't want to work for this company, but I like having a job. I'll just keep praying about it!
WTG on your training! I love you get a free trainer! That helps so much!!!! I am working with my " talent agent" (aka copilot) today to work on a much more comprehensive plan to get things moving. Even if I can't quit, hopefully it brings in enough money to give us a cushion if I do get to take a break at the beginning of the year… LOL
I got a second walk in this afternoon- 3.3 mph with 16 lb weighted vest at 1-2 incline for 30 minutes. Now it's time to make some dinner…..

Happy Thursday! I hope you like my outside pics of the tiny house we stayed in!
I'm feeling more peaceful today about what happened yesterday, for a couple of reasons:
- It just really solidified for me that this company is not at all the company I want to work for. I will be ready to move on when the time is right and the right thing comes along! For months I was dreading having to go to their schedule and last week I kind of got ok with it, with what we know right now about their schedule (they are still keeping the full details under wraps! LOL), 4 days of work, the worst part would be 30 minute lunches. But, for now I'm still on my M-F 7-4 schedule which really makes me happy. I've worked 7-4 since 2013!
- I was starting to get anxious about how next week would go while at my parents and having to take calls. They listen to TV at 500 (I SWEAR!), and they are so used to me not talking that when I start I get "what"? or they try to answer me! Now I don't have to worry about that as much, since I only have to take the incidents (1-3/week total) that pertain to the company that got swallowed.
Plans for today: I told Scott before he left for work that today I am picking up all my stuff and will leave his stuff. He said "sure! It will help me see what I'm leaving behind" LOL I think he will be surprised! :)
- Main bathroom (he left his towel and clothes on the floor after his shower).
- Dining Room
- Kitchen
- towels are done in the washer, will move to dryer. I scheduled them to start this morning, and I have just come to love that feature of my washer! :)
- Fold sheets in the dryer
- Listen to LinkedIn Learning while getting this done
- Respond to 5 posts on Instagram relating to menopause/fitness/keto/carnivore

Good morning! Yess I love the tiny house pix! The fire area especially, but the tiny house too, reminded me of the Shire, and I loved the memory. Gosh I felt awful for you, reading your yesterday's post. Love the way you processed it all, Jenny, you're amazing, girl!
Me, I'm wishing I didn't sign up for those PF Upper Body and Stretch trainer classes today ('classes' is generous, it's up to 3 people, and they don't have a dedicated class space). What I want to do instead is finish the conditional formatting on my Sprint to the New Year Bingos and Goals Boards, for my F2F mini-group! I lost the conditional formatting when I copied it, so I have to put it back in). The classes are 3 hrs apart, so that's a big chunk of time at PF. When I booked it, I thought …. eh 🤷♀️ … that's okay, I'll just take my time, do my spinning, my two weights circuits, and my 2/3 PT, and hang out a bit. Honestly, twice I almost just cancelled and rebooked them for next week :p. I'll be happy when I'm done, tho, so I left it.
Wishing you a lovely day ! Keep that chin up Xx

Ohhhhhhhhhh booooooooooooo ! Got to PF - the trainer left unexpectedly, NO PERSONAL TRAINER. Worse yet, they're not sure that they're going to hire a new one. They said the Clubs are moving to the recorded classes on the Web app, and as each club has a trainer leave, they have to decide whether to hire a new one, or sundown the service and move entirely to the app.
Big Sadz! The guy asked me if I tried it - I said TOO TINY. It's a little bitty yt on your phone type thing. Fine if you're watching a funny cat video, not fine to do a workout to.
sigh
0 -
Oh no!!!! Terrible news!!! I wonder if the trainer is going to do personal training? Have you looked online to see if maybe that's something you can swing? So sad to hear that! I agree! I am not going to workout to a video on my phone. Heck! 95% of my posting is done on the computer instead of my BIG phone! LOL
SO glad it's Friday, but it is the start of my on-call weekend 🙄 We found out yesterday afternoon that Scott's aunt passed the day before. Funeral is Monday so I will take a 1/2 day in the afternoon, then head to mom and dad's.
I did do another intro video for my 75 soft, and I am really doing MUCH better this time! :) Today also marks 60 straight days I've walked every day intentionally! I'm so proud of my progress! When I started 30 minutes/day was a stretch. Today I did 60 minutes to celebrate 60 days! :) And it was just a nice walk, in fact, I probably could have worked harder. :) I did 3.68 miles this morning! :) Day 1 I did 30 minutes (1.52 miles- so for an hour would be 3.04 miles! That's a big leap!)
Today I still need to finish up dishes and get the DW going. I got most of my stuff picked up yesterday (petty, I know), and will film another video today (did one yesterday, deep thoughts… ) about my 60 walking thoughts. I still suck at making videos, but I'll get better the more I do it! :) Here's my short daily video on day 60 walk : https://www.tiktok.com/@keto _couple_life/video/7546616330401647927

Happy Sunday! Hope you're enjoying the day! :)
I'm trying to plan a menu for the week for me at my parents house.
LOL This is now 5 hours later… I got the menu planned, even put it all into my tracker so I can make sure I'm getting everything I need (targeting 130g protein), and know what I need to order for delivery. I have my delivery order placed and will be delivered tomorrow afternoon to their house. This will be so much easier than me lugging all the food there.
Now I'm thinking about what the heck am I going to wear to the funeral… what am I going to pack to stay there for 4 days, need to remember things like my new weighted vest, iPad, etc.
Ok, figured out the funeral dress. I have a dark blue dress that will do well….
Day 62 walk is done…. I screwed up yesterday on 75 soft- I didn't read my bible AND I didn't get enough protein, so I'm just going to add a day to the end. I don't want to burn my 3 free days yet! :) I have more than hit 12,000 steps daily, which is AMAZING!!! I'm really getting into a rhythm and feeling more confident! On my walk today I started "Let them" on audible. It's 10.5 hours, so it will be a good listen for the next couple weeks…. I only listen to audible when I walk, not around the house, etc.
I am going to take a well deserved hot epsom bath! :)
1 -
Happy Monday! I plugged in my phone at bedtime last night, but the block must have been loose, as my phone died in the night and I woke up at 6:30 this morning! Good thing work starts at 7! :) I got the funeral day wrong- it's next monday! Whew! one less thing to worry about! Today is all about getting the house prepped and getting packed! I'm writing a list so I don't forget anything. Hopefully I remember what I was thinking about right before I fell asleep last night! hahahaha
Lights in the wash, darks waiting, towels will be folded soon. I also need to:
- un/reload dishwasher
- pack clothes, makeup, shower supplies.
- pick up all my stuff
- Move hallway boxes to garbage cans
- walk at lunch (since I missed due to stupid phone)
I'm sure I'll do more, I'll update later!

Thursday Check in-
Dad’s surgery went brilliantly! He hasn’t needed a pain killer since 4am yesterday! He’s already able to move his fingers MUCH more than before the surgery, and all the numbness is gone! I’m so happy for him! He’s so much happier and busy around the house as well!
I have stuck with getting my 75 soft taken care of, getting all my steps in, eating enough, etc. I’m really proud of myself. I did have a little bit of sweets yesterday and a drink last night emotionally eating, but I’m ok with that.
I picked up an XL shirt from Costco the other day and it fits well! :). Proved mom wrong! :) : ) I will wear it tomorrow night to the James Taylor concert! I can’t wait to see Scott… I need a big hug!
I will take my walk at lunch, will probably need another one after work because I’m not getting as much activity during the day as I usually do at home…… I did a 45 min walk at lunch (with my weighted vest) outside with their killer hills, and then 40 min after work on the teadmill to get them all in. I needed to clear my head or at least help with stress reduction after work, so it was helpful.
Some pics from the last few days

omgosh … happy almost end of the week check-in! Sorry, I was madly updating my Bingo/Goals spreadsheet to swap over from a Wed-Tue structure, to a Sun-Sat structure, and extending it out to 18 weeks for 'Sprint to the New Year' with a few of my F2F teamies! Almost all of my computer time was with the sheet, I meant to check in, and kept not coming to the boards, bc I was madly working on this section or that section. From Thu-Tue, for 6 days, I kept thinking I'd be done that day. Nope. lol
ohhhh, catching up. So sorry for your's and Scott's loss :-(.
OH!! wonderful news on Dad's surgery, tho! And I'm whooping and celebrating on your new shirt size with you! Sending you that hug. It's been a week, hasn't it. Proud of you for sticking with your 75-soft. And yeah, so early in, just add that day on the end, I agree.
The walking area looks lovely, tho. (I feel ya on the hills, hehe). Are you comfortable working at the table?
Yea, real sorry I missed so many days of checkins. You're on my goal sheet, too!! (Declutter with Jennywren Xx).

Hi J! 🙋♀️
Hitting the gym today. I haven't managed to get there all week! 5 mi spin bike ride, upper/core, & lower, weights circuits this afternoon. Maybe a Flex vid tonight, maybe a PTEs sesh tonight, we'll see. It was a 'Race' weekend at Hogwarts, so I was consumed with that Fri and Sat. Tmo I have a throat scope procedure scheduled.
My throat mysteriously closes sometimes when I'm eating, and I can't swallow anything, sometimes for hours - not even water (which is all pretty disgusting, as my body is overproducing saliva, to help get my throat to swallow. It started about 3 yrs ago, but so infrequent, I forgot to mention it to my doc until my checkup in May. Appt was scheduled then, such long waiting times for stuff, it seems. I kinda suspect it may have something to do with scar tissue from an injury I had as a small child - one of those hooks from the looms that kids used to make potholders and such with, got lodged in my throat, when I was bumped, while sticking the thing in my mouth. No idea why I stuck the thing in my mouth, in the first place. I was pretty young, the whole thing is a vague memory.
Wishing you all a lovely Sunday! ~ mk :)
0 -
Good luck on your throat scope today! I hope they find out what's going on and it is easily fixable! I got scoped once, turns out it was just my severe food allergies.
Today is a half day at work. We are leaving in 10 minutes to go to Scott's Aunt's Celebration of Life. I'm nervous as it's been 5+ years since I've seen some of them. Scott's mother poisoned them against me, so this is not going to be comfortable at all. I'm there for Scott. I will be with him every step of the way. If they want to be ugly, that's on them. I don't plan on being ugly.
This weekend we were able to get a 20 foot flag pole up. We need to pick up a light for it, but felt good to put it up, for sure. Scott was really affected after we got the flag at half staff. Our hearts are breaking for our country, it was the least we can do.
I hurt my achille's tendon on Thursday and I think the weighted vest/hills didn't help it any. Friday I did walk, and we had a concert to go, so I was limping. LOL Saturday we were just busy all day, so no planned walk, and Sunday it was still unhappy, so I took the full day off- not eve 2500 steps! That being said…. This morning I was able to get a 1 hour walk in on the treadmill, not weighted. So, I guess I start over with day 1, or I just keep going because, I'm not perfect and I'm not going to be able to hit every day, but I just won't let me do 2 days in a row. I took one of my Pass days for 75 soft on Saturday, it was just easier, for Sunday I added a day to the end.
2 -
Ohhh, gl this afternoon ((( Jennywren ))). Scope went uneventfully, I have to go back for another one in 3-4 wks. Apparently I have acid reflux disease (GERD) which is a surprise to me, as I've never noticed it! DX: "Grade C esophagitis was seen in the gastroesophageal junction, compatible with esophagitis. Severe LA Grade C erosive esophagitis, extending >10 cm proximal to top of gastric folds.". hm.
Eric is picking up scrip for me right now (omeprazole 40 mg), that's supposed to promote healing of the esophogus, and the fu is to check to see if it has healed.
The flagpole is well done, nice and straight. ((( Jenny and Scott )))
I'm so tired …. Check ya later, or tmo. (PS, good plans for the 75 soft)

Happy Tuesday!
Glad to hear you have some ideas, hopefully you can get the gerd under control! :(
Yesterday went well, but we had pizza after the funeral. It was delish, but I'm up 4 pounds since yesterday! LOL back on track today with food! :)
Got my walk in before work (an hour) so I'm at almost 12,000 steps already! Still trying to figure out what is for dinner. I did get some of the dishwasher unloaded and got my dirty clothes put into the hamper, does that count?
Hanging on by a thread… :)

In the car, on my way up to daughter's for a late dinner with her and niece. Quick (((hug!))) tho! That thread is golden steel, you won't drop. Hang on tight! Xx

Good morning. I'm dragging myself here to talk today, sorry. Feel free to skip over this post, but other than my husband, You may understand a little about my anxious heart today.
Our friends have planned an impromptu get together Saturday night. I don't know how we manage to get liberal friends only, but here we are! :) Just like with the Peeps, I don't discuss religion or politics with them because, that's not why I'm there. I'm there because I like their character, we've been through a lot (most all of them were active marching band parents like us), and we've had some really great times with them.
There are a couple ladies, and one son (now 25, but on the spectrum) that will bring up politics, but I stay neutral, let them say what they need to, and don't respond because everyone is entitled to their opinions. One lady (mother of the boy) can get very vocal about politics. I just let them. They are probably aware of how I feel (you can't tell me Peeps didn't know), by my lack of engagement in these conversations. I did tell one lady one time I won't talk politics with friends and used Peeps as the example, and she and her husband respect that and don't engage either. I have to believe she told them, and that was part of my reason to tell her.
So, I am feeling very anxious about going Saturday night. it's usually the "women in the kitchen, guys playing games in the dining room", and the guys don't generally talk politics. I pray that I am wrong, and they will not say anything disparaging about Charlie Kirk, but I am preparing myself to stand up and leave if that happens. I feel like if that happens, I will lose the ladies as friends, and I don't want Scott to lose the guys, because they are really good friends- weekly D&D games, Whiskey enthusiasts like we are, we even have a trip planned in a few weeks with 2 couples ( who are usually pretty neutral).
I have been having a lot of emotions the last week, and last night on my walk with Scott I think I finally hit on it that I am afraid of another Peeps happening. I'm sorry, I guess this could have been a PM, but wanted to give you the option to ignore it. You don't have to respond to this message, I just needed to put my thoughts out there.
2 -
Oh, sweetie. ((( hugs ))) All I can say is, I understand. The Charlie Kirk killing has shaken MAGA to its core, one of my teams has lots of lovely ladies who are fervent Trump supporters. There's been a lot of talk the last week, and I just don't say a word. I'll say here bc I think you'll understand - I can't mourn that man, but I am shocked at the killing. Anyway, I just don't engage at all. Hopefully your friends have enough respect for you to steer clear of a potentially fraught topic. I think everyone shoud be able to come together to stand against killings like this (& the MN lawmaker assassinations at the beginning of the summer). One should be able to do that even if they have thoughts about Kirk that aren't compatible with mourning.
hooking my liberal arm into your conservative arm It'll be okay. I can't imagine people you call friends would be so callous as to bring such division into your home. Wishing you a lovely night of gaming and visiting! Xx
