@nancyinmiami - Funny cartoon! It captures how many of us feel about “missing” steps while our watch or Fitbit is charging. I guess staying in bed is better than imagining we burned more calories than we actually did — and giving ourselves permission to eat more! 🤣 I appreciate all the motivating cartoons, photos, and engaging activities like the book club (& the step and weekly challenges led by @frankwbrown and @jessicakrall8). The F2F weekly challenge is focused on building endurance through incremental changes — adding a little more weight overtime to gain strength or increasing distance to improve running, etc.
The information @jessicakrall8 shared on the topic reminded me of a “Half Size Me” podcast I listened to recently. It’s about ways to make small changes in our diet that lead to success in the long run. I’m including a link here in case you are interested in listening to the episode or reading the transcript:

Good morning Shape Shifters! I am back to rejoin the group. I left almost 6 months ago I think and I have made some good progress with my weight loss. End of August and September have been a little messy so I figured it was time to come back for some extra support. I think the 'public' weigh ins will also help a lot. So I will be posting daily again soon once the new thread is up! I have kept reading here, so I don't feel like I have missed much. Happy to be back. 💜
For the captains @jessicakrall8 @frankwbrown: I see I am still listed on support, so I can just be moved back to the regular team. Weigh in day Wednesday is fine and my starting weight for the month is 195.4, thank you! Also in case you are wondering, I would like to remain a regular member. It seems like you both have got things covered!

@alleykat69 - I’m so sorry you are suffering and feeling sick. I had a cold this summer that involved a lot of congestion so I can only imagine adding allergies. I hope you find a treatment that works — or the cold and allergy season both pass quickly!3 -
