We are up to 68 right now. It's only going to go up to around 72, really nice.

It's so hard when you see something that needs doing and you know you will pay for it later if you do it! I hope that you will get stronger as you get stuff done and it won't hurt so much to do it! Praying for you. Good on you for using your machine. A little bit every day will make a difference.

So far no side effects from the new med. I did get a note from the pharmacist about taking the new med with my metoprolol, so I am watching my BP and my pulse to make sure they don't get too low. I'm taking both right and left sides as well. This morning I was: L = 111/64 and R = 102/60. My pulse has been between 56 and 77, which is lower than normal. When I move around and do something it will go into the 80's and 90's and I often see those numbers before I take my Metoprolol. It may mean, if this med works, that I won't need to take the Metoprolol! Woohoo! I've been on it for at least 17 years.

Well, I'm going eat some turkey casserole for lunch and take my new pill and then rest for a couple hours before I get back on the computer and do some more studying. Love you

I too, have some long term drugs…I do the Metoprolol AM/PM, Amlodipine, and have been on the Benicar for a year after more than 20 years on Lisinopril….plus all the diabetes meds. That would be great if you could drop one!

I feel better today tho my night was on the rough side…up every hour for a bathroom run. I took my Tylenol blend at 2 AM so that helped some. It does feel great to get things done and I am thankful for the days that I can attend to my list….and thankful for the required rest after my energy expenditures!

Yummy….Turkey casserole sounds good. I was tempted to get a pack of the thick turkey breast lunch meat to play with but didn't. Perhaps for the holidays I may…It's good, tho I do prefer the dark meat. I'd still like a steak for my birthday.

Last night I did up roasted veggies with some bacon. I got the ends and pieces. You know I love my veggies! (and waste way too many) I had gold potatoes, a zucchini, half an onion and topped with some bacon…and cooked in my toaster oven. It was really good. I have another zucchini, 2 yellow squash, broccoli, mushrooms, carrots and another cabbage to use….and a new bag of spinach. I overwhelm myself!

I'm going to do up breakfast…and see what I can get done today. Have a lovely day!

I like carrots, peas, corn, mushrooms and raw spinach. I can handle broccoli if it's covered with butter and cheese! LOL! Oh, Longhorn Steakhouse has some really good brussel sprouts, roasted with honey! Yummers. Cabbage is supposed to be really good for you. I like coleslaw and sauerkraut too - without the caraway seeds! Mostly I just do my veggie/fruit multi vitamin and sometimes my green powder. I need to start doing smoothies again as well. Maybe I will do a small one for my snack (which is around 5:30-6, then I quit eating so I don't aspirate when I go and lie down.) I have been having trouble with my voice and thought about nodules, which doesn't make sense because I don't overuse it - but, then I thought of aspirating stomach acid and if that acid could affect my vocal chords, and it can. For as long as I have had GERD and reflux, it's very likely that it's affected my vocal chords - but finding out for sure means seeing another doctor. Hey, maybe the new GI doctor I am going to see will have some answers for that. I don't know if she'll do an endoscopy and then could see the vocal chords, but she should know if they can be affected. If it's affected my lungs, surely it's affected my chords!

Not much else going on with me. Trying to stay warm on the cold days, and cool on the warmer days. It's that time of year when I either have to layer and then take away when it warms up, or just change when it gets too warm for a sweatshirt. I need to switch my clothes out really soon!

    Have a great day!

My veggie bowl yesterday included some baby carrots I need to use up, the last zucchini, onion and potatoes. I love the small gold potatoes. Today, I need to deal with the mushrooms and spinach. I'd do a pot of soup but have no freezer space for storage. Bummer…because I do love soup!

I slept long and well last night…went to bed at 7:00….got up at 3 AM…am dressed to shoes and getting ready to "work"…I got two of the proper sized tubs to do my sorting in so will start that project soon. I have two tubs with no lids, to fill and pass on…and will have maybe 2 more besides those before I'm done. I want to do the kitchen sorting and cleaning first.

Oh that brings to mind the misery I had and sleeping in my recliner about 7 years back! I am so thankful it's a very rare occurrence these days…I had one horrid episode about 1.5 years ago or so and pray it was the last ever! I do hope you can get that issue sorted and settled too!

Praying the Lord will lift us up, out and over….He is aware of every need, every obstacle…any pain or sorrow that affects our joy factor…and is more than able to heal, restore, strengthen and provide for us in every circumstance.

I'm off for my second cup of coffee and will give thought to what needs to be done by me today…Love you all…very much…and thank God for you daily!

    Amen! we are very blessed.

I enjoy watching this YouTube show from HERD. It's about a herd of elephants who were saved, orphans brought in and eventually over time mothering their own. One of their most talked about elephants, Limpopo recently went berserk and killed one of the Carers - Israel. He'd been there for at least 17 years and loved by everyone. She rammed a tree he was sitting under and then impaled him with her tusk. She's been one of the most calm and serene of the elephants so no one has any idea why she did this. He wasn't even anywhere near her and would never taunt the elephants. I just boohooed during both of the videos I saw, one for Limpopo and one for Israel. Then there was a short one about Israel's family coming to the Elephant care center and hugging on and petting the elephants. I'm so glad that they were careful, but not afraid! They had to put Limpopo down. I'm sure her mother and the little one's she has been a surrogate mother to are missing her. I know you just couldn't wait to here that news 😉but it was part of my week and made me sad. This happened just a month ago too. Boohoo.

Taking my new meds, keeping an eye on my BP and pulse too. Nothing yet, but it could be quite awhile. Other than that, not much else going on. Wade is working on redoing our "hallway", the entryway from the back yard and the side yard, leads to the garage and the freezer room too. It has a fireplace at one end as well, really pretty, but not much you can do with it! I'll take a picture when it is done! We just have to paint the dry wall he just finished putting up, the paneling type stuff at the bottom of the wall, and then put down the flooring. We left one wall with the wood that was under the paneling the previous owner had put up. We stained it, but are also thinking about putting up those fake stone panels, they just have to be a deal! I like that rustic look.

Well, I'll let you get back to either work or resting! Love you

STOP! I would be crying hard too! Such things are heartbreaking…for all involved and for us who see them in some form. So very sad. You know I had to go there, right?

I got busy, puttering in the kitchen, got hungry…ate…now want a nap. No real work going on. We're having a rainy, overcast day and I love it…but it does make me want to hunker down with my blanket and Kindle. So….today can be ….slow, peaceful and restful. Love it…

How did you get that picture of me while I watched that video?! I'm awful with things like that. I remember going to a friend's father's funeral when I was in high school. I had never met his father - and I think I was the only one sobbing in there! People kept looking at me. My dad had to take me outside for awhile at my grandmother's viewing when she passed. I don't think we went to the funeral, at least I didn't. Wade wonders how I can watch these dog rescue shows, but I know there will be a happy ending so it doesn't bother me that much - it's the sad endings that get me.

Oh you are so describing the perfect day to cuddle up under a blanket and read a good book - finding a good one isn't so easy these days. I have some favorite authors, mostly fantasy and historical; I love reading or listening to the missionary bios as well. I'm listening to MARY SLESSOR, QUEEN OF THE CALABAR. She was a wee little Scottish gal who went to Africa, all alone, and pretty much stayed alone through out her ministry there. She was a firecracker though and stood up to the chiefs and worked to abolish the wicked practices that they had. She became one who sat in judgment at their palavers and they listened whenever she handed down a judgment. Love these stories. I think that her story is my favorite though.

Tomorrow is supposed to be our fellowship meal after service. Some folks haven't been feeling too well though, so not sure if we will still do that. It has been a rough month. I'm still in pain as well. OOOPs, forgot to take my new med at lunch time. Gotta go and get that done!

    Love you very much.

LOL…Same here. I can "see" you….the tender hearted girl…who still resides within you. I remember when Hurricane Katrina hit and the endless news and media bombardment had me deeply depressed at the plight of so many and it took me weeks to realize I was depressed as that's not my normal state….and now…there are so very many things that draw me to Jesus and cause such sorrow…

Oh, I agree…on finding a "good" book! I get frustrated at those I'd normally enjoy that feel the need to sue such foul language…for NO purpose. I had downloaded a cozy mystery set just recently and deleted it after the first page as it started off with that…and it was supposed to be about older women and cats!

Such language and the extreme hatred spewed on so many online posts…from women as well as men…makes me sick. Sick at heart and their horrid responses to any making reference to God and our need of a Savior in Jesus Christ….makes me angry. So much hate bait, brokenness and outright evil. Our world is in so much trouble!

I did up some mac and cheese with frozen veggies and a hefty dollop of Lloyd's BBQ pork for lunch. It was so good…I've not done much past my veggie pans and smoked sausage this week, due to the increased pain. I've really enjoyed what I did cobble together tho and am glad I had such things on hand.

I pray you and your church ladies will feel better very soon. I imagine you all must miss the added fellowship of your shared meals after service….Blessings to all of you.

I've slept away my day so am running late on getting anything done today. I still hope to get trash out and check the mail. I haven't done that all week.

Love you lots and hope you get a good night's rest and feel better soon.

Monday: I rested well last night and feel better this morning…and am so thankful.

I got my weeks worth of mail yesterday, got my new Target card and another problem! I also received a bill with an unauthorized charge of $14.95 to a landscaping company in Wright, MO! Crazy! So I had to contact them and start another claim/process. They will send me a questionnaire to fill out concerning the issue. I always hate to do phone work as I can't hear and the ones I can hear, I often don't understand…like my first girl sounded Asian and had to increase her volume 3 times. The second one was a little clearer….but I still had issues. I pray this will be the last of those troubles…

I have coffee on, the dishwasher ready to reload and run and my carry over list of chores from the weekend. I'll feel better when things are tidy.

I got a bottle of my arthritis strength Tylenol..650 mg…whereas the Tylenol/Ibuprofen blend has only 250 mg Tylenol and 125 mg Ibuprofen (which I'm not supposed to take anyway) and I think that may be part of my increased pain issues since I've been out of the Tylenol for about a month. I'll see how I fare with the change.

Hope your day is blessed and beautiful! Love and prayers for us all…

I have some Arthritis strength Acetaminophen coming too. My doctor suggested that rather than doing the three extra-strength Acetaminophen which gives me 1500mg rather than the 1200 the other will give. My NP wasn't too concerned about the 1500 because it was half of the maximum suggested in one day. But when you do it several days in a row, it can cause issues. I will only take the arthritis strength if I am having a very bad day.

Ugh, I feel bad for you having these issues with your account! I hope this is the last of it and you are able to get reimbursed. (Wow, spell check has been busy in this message! LOL)

Yay, we did get to have our after service fellowship meal yesterday. It is always such a blessing - and everyone was there this time - praise the Lord. Some of us were hurting, but that's okay, we were together to worship the Lord and then have our meals together. I had the left over smash burgers (no bun) and an apple cut into wedges. So full! I did have a big molasses cookie (gluten free) made by one of our ladies and then had a piece of pineapple cake when I got home later.

Another lady friend (I've known for 50 years) hemmed up a skirt for me. I keep shrinking and she kindly offered to hem it up. The part that needed hemming was chiffon, not easy to work with, but she did a great job. She cut off 2"! I shouldn't trip over the hem now - yay! I just don't like sewing unless I can do it very slowly! I watch the leather worker and the shoe repairer on The Repair Shop, and they go super slow through the materials they are working with - yep, that is about as slow as I want to go! I'm the same way with power tools, they scare me. I have used a power screw driver, which was fine, it wasn't going to take off a finger or hand like the other stuff! Eeek.

Well, I better let you go. I hope that the Tylenol helps and this pain will be of short duration. Love you

Good afternoon my lovely ladies. I hope that your day has been good so far! I'm feeling a little bit less pain than I had been feeling - praise the Lord!

We have some strong weather out there, wind and rain; but so far no flooding. Keeping an eye on the hurricane that is now in Jamaica - category 5 - Whoowee! Hopefully it will head east and away from us.

Trying to stay warm though, and my Dr Heaters do great for that job when it's not cold enough to start up the fireplace, but chilly enough I need something to cut through it.

Wade is doing great with our hallway. He has the beadboard up and the walls pained a beautiful blue-gray color and now he is getting all of the trim up. Then he will get the floor down and it will be a beautiful room - what we will use it for I don't know, but it sure is pretty! LOL! He might use it for his music room or a study area. The previous owner used it for an office.

Well, I'll let you get back to resting or whatever you have been doing. I love you

Thanks, Love! I meant to drop by yesterday and crashed/burned. Today has been rough as well. I was awake until 4 AM this morning and went back to bed after breakfast. It's 1 PM and I am still in my gown.

Oh…..that's a blessing that you all were there and you got to have your meal together. Awesome. That's so sweet of your friend, to hem your skirt up. I admit, I used to roll mine up about 3 inches. LOL…My friends are gone, two in Alabama, one an ex-SIL and Cissy….

I do my Tylenol 1-2 times a day, depending on need and have some PM ones but rarely use them. That's great that your pain has eased some and I hope to follow that trend! I have burned my mouth and bit my tongue again so am longing for soft, safe food…like mashed potatoes/gravy and applesauce. I had a can of soup for dinner last night and did a skillet with potato, onion, cabbage and ham for breakfast this morning.

Wade's work sounds lovely! I know you will enjoy the new room, whatever the use you choose…Reminds me of when Laura and John (my step daughter) had their first home built, and had their friends from church come and write scriptures on the interior walls before the walls were applied. I loved the idea of that…and when they moved on, they were there for the next family.

We got our cold front! It was 91 Monday, and today it's 57 with strong winds. I may need a bit of heat tonight. I did turn the AC off yesterday. I just checked and it's 71 in here…a bit cooler than I like. I keep a little blanket my Mama gave me at the recliner and have fuzzy socks for my feet.

Prayers for all of you in the path of Melissa. These awful storms are so devastating and so many have neither a safe place to go nor the means to get there. I pray for protection and provision and the prayers of God's people…to lift them up to Him.

I think I'll get dressed in case I decide to take trash out or peek out for any reason. It's hard to get inspired for action when still in my gown. Love and prayers for us all….Be blessed best where needed most!

Yay, so glad you checked in. I hope that today is at least better than yesterday. I missed my NP's appt this afternoon. I forgot about it this morning and Wade went out for groceries - right were we actually needed to go - but he forgot as well. Oh well, at least I could cancel without much problem.

The chickens are out and about so we are going to sit on the porch. Love you

Oops! I miss mine on purpose…hope you can reschedule soon. I'm overdue for all of mine.

I had another all-nighter….went to sleep after 4:30 but managed to get up at 7:30. I need to spiff me up a bit and have some coffee. Perhaps i can stay up until at least noon?

Have a good day at your spot!

Oh yay, an all-nighter! Praise the Lord. I've been sleeping better since taking all of my pills that make me sleepy around 8. I get sleepy around 11:30 and then stay asleep (except for maybe one break).

I hope I don't get charged for that missed appt, but I would deserve it if they do charge me. Their office confused me by sending me a bill for something I already paid for - don't do that to this old lady! Although the relief when I figured it out was rather nice.

I need to put my appts on my phone calendar and ask for a reminder the day before. I do get them from my doctor's office, and I did remind Wade, but he thought it was a tele-visit and I just forgot on that morning! I need to put up sticky posts on the bathroom door so I won't forget! A room I go into frequently will help!

    Love y'all.

I didn't last until Noon… I crashed at 10:30 and had a 3 hour nap. Hoping I do better tonight.

I have a note in my files for appointments. Can't print it now so have to write them down so I can cancel ahead of time. LOL… Yep…that's a good door to put reminders on. I hear ya on the old lady confusion! I still say to my phone when it rings…"STOP scaring me"!

I have a nightlight plugged in my bedroom so I have all the light I need for the hourly runs to that room without stumbling over things or waking up too much. Tele-visit…is that by phone or Zoom? I'm technically challenged. …and can't hear but I'd love to be able to get away with a phone visit as long as they can't see me! Stringy haired and in my gown by 3 PM…

Hope we all rest well tonight and have a blessed new day tomorrow! Love you….

I had a better night last night and am thankful. I had about 3 wakeful times besides the bathroom trips…and just read for a bit, didn't get up to roam about. Got up at 4:45…more normal.

I've been out to check the week's mail, talked to Junior…wanted so much to feed and pet him but I didn't. He looks good so he's feeding somewhere. that eases my heart some. I'd love to have an inside cat but accept my limitations as far as financial care and physical…and the issue of fall hazards…so just love them from a distance.

I got the dishwasher loaded and will run once I drop my coffee pot and mug in. I really like my new machine. I am blessed!

I need a refill on my coffee and will do a task while in the kitchen. Love you Ladies, lots!

Oh, what a joy you are. Loved your response to a ringing phone - I've said pretty much that same thing too! Love the picture, what a smile-maker!

A televisit is like a Zoom meeting. You can choose not to be seen, but I usually like to see her face and her see mine, then she can see how I'm really feeling. I think that your doctors would want you in front of them because you are not in front of them very often!

    naughty naughty.jpg

I put the five I have through November and December on my phone with a warning the day before and then one two hours before - except the one that is at 8 AM, don't want to know about that one at 6 AM - LOL.

Oh here's a rib tickler for you (I've had it up before):

LOL….thanks for the giggles. Love the finger shaking and I deserve it! My Doctors (all 3) probably roll their eyes when they see I've scheduled an appointment and say "yeah, right"…

I have enjoyed every single weekend since my retirement! I worked weekends for almost 23 years so having them free is a joy sparker for me. Tho every day is free now, it just feels different! I can identify with both Kermit and the cat!

I did some mac and cheese with my veggie blend for lunch and used the last of my Lloyd's BBQ pork in it. It was so good. I used the cheese powder I got from Amazon, and sour cream instead of milk. Was quite delicious. I have a bag of spinach I need to cook for dinner if it's still in an acceptable state. I have mushrooms as well…may do a stir fry or sauté the veggies with some olive oil and garlic, onion and poach a couple of eggs on top… like this…but with extra veggies.

I normally do it with kale but it's been awhile. I've been wanting some HM soup…especially with this cooler weather…it would classify as comfort food. But then I might want cornbread as well? I'd do white bean and spinach with some bacon I suppose. Both look delicious and depend on the spinach….tho I do have frozen if I was determined to have either of these and the spinach has gone south!

    image.png download (5).jpg

I got a nice, normal nap today so have had a good day. I've started a collection of food and kitchen items to pass down this weekend. I managed to chip two nails in the process so need to trim and file them all again. I'll do that during TV time tonight.

Love you my friend…you make my heart smile!

I cannot believe how strong my hair and nails are, they both grow really fast too - but my skin is super dry. I need to lotion it every night. I'm not taking care of my skin as I need to having both lymphedema and lipedema, but I'm not getting the skin issues that both of those can cause. Not being able to take a shower really doesn't help either. I tried a couple of times using one of those slide in benches, but it took so much energy to get in and out (even with help), and I still have to get my legs over the tub edge. Then getting dressed again, my heart rate would go up and I had trouble with my breathing - just isn't worth the effort. I am trying to use the wipes more often though. Gonna be hard during the winter when everything is covered up all the time! Gotta catch it when I change for the night (I wear what I'm going to wear the next day when I go to bed - usually lounge pants and a sweatshirt during the winter; a t-shirt and my loose gauchos in the summer).

Whooweee, it was 47 when I got up this morning. Wade is trying to smoke a Boston Backend; in these temps he struggles to keep the temp up where it needs to be. It may end up in the oven or crock pot, although it is quite large.

Well, it's lunch time. Not sure what I'm going to have though. Love you!

We're looking at a high today of 70…then edging back up to the mid 80's…It's quite chilly in here today. That 47 makes me shiver! It's 65 currently.

I haven't actually worn long pants in a year. LOL…For my last Doctor's appointments. It may have been capris even…I live in my shorty pajamas (bloomers and a tank top) or gown…and shorts and Tee.

I did not cook my spinach last night….bummer. I woke up so mad, mauling my tongue…again and was dreaming of eating greens. The pain is so extreme and we can't control what happens in our sleep. It takes a bit for the pain to ease enough that I can get back to sleep…while praying it doesn't happen again.

I need to snag some lunch too. Not sure what but thinking something soupy….Enjoy yours…and that yummy back end…however it gets prepared!

Oh bother! Have you ever tried wearing tooth guards? These are just an example. I used to wear them for grinding too, but that pretty much has stopped. You really need to do something because you could get an infection in your tongue! https://www.amazon.com/Grinding-Clenching-Upgraded-Material-Cleaning/dp/B0FRFWHSZQ

I'm doing alright. The pain is usually worse after sitting during worship service so long, but yesterday I was able to stand for the singing and get up and sit down without a lot of pain. The next day it's slightly worse, but overall I think that the new med, through the hand of God, is beginning to work. I see that doctor on the 11th. I'm going to ask about my hip and right groin/thigh, that is where most of my pain is. Well, that and my hands. I need to wear my left brace more and give that hand a break. I also need to use my tablet holder (a blue pillow with three sides that can hold the tablet) rather than trying to balance it with that hand. I've started to use my stylus between my index, middle, and ring fingers to give my thumb pad a break as well.

We had a bunch of rain last night so did a Zoom service. The road we are on floods in a couple of places when it rains a lot or there is a king tide and some folks can't get to the Net House for worship, so we usually Zoom at those times. Both services were such a blessing yesterday.

Well, I'm going to get my lunch. Love you.

I had thoughts of something like that. I do pray for protection. There have been some serious injuries for sure…It took a few weeks to heal one of the worst, recently, when I bruised it badly. The pain makes me want to cry.

It sounds like you have a system worked out…I feel for you…having to brace up so much! I know how well I'd fare if i needed to….about a 2 on my 1-5 scale with 5 being compliant. I did use my surgical shoe, boot and knee brace when in dire straights…the back brace…one time and it was awful!

My back pain has been rather severe this past week….I do feel better this morning but found myself wishing I could take 3 of those extra strength Tylenol…LOL. I had a decent night's rest tho I did get up for about 2 hours, read for another two….got up at 4:00 and didn't whine about it.

I ran out of ice yesterday and my three trays had uhm…dehydrated…so I cleaned them up, refilled them and had ice by bedtime. Hooya! Walmart didn't have any for my order on the weekend…That doesn't happen often but it's a bummer when it does as I confess, I build an order around my need for ice. I used to do it for cat food too. I can fit an entire tray of ice and a 16.9 Oz. water bottle in my 40 Oz. tumbler. It's heavy but I love it and it has the handle. I found filling much easier last night, using the sprayer thing. I have low water pressure so that helps.

I need to get my trash to the dumpster today and run my car for a bit. She's been idle for 2 weeks now and needs to move about a bit…like me. I need to crank me up and go a bit as well.

I hope you all don't get more than the rain from the storms…Prayers for all in the path. Be blessed and at rest in your spots today. Love you!

This would be me…after tossing, once again….a bag of spinach, a bag of salad, carrots, mushrooms, cucumbers and bread….I had good intentions when I placed the order….sigh.

Oh yeah! I'm glad Wade does the buying and the cooking. He enjoys cooking, I don't. He likes his food one way and me the other. I like well done fries, he likes them barely with color; I like moist mac and cheese (which we almost never have anymore) and he likes it dry. I like sweet cornbread, he doesn't (so if he makes it he sprinkles sugar on top of mine). Wow, all of those are carbs! LOL! Oh, I like a well done hot dog, he doesn't! But those can be done according to likes. Mom like her hotdogs very well done! LOL!

I'm going to try the chicken pizza crust for lunch, and add some pizza sauce and pepperoni! Yummers. I'll try to do a house walk this afternoon since the pain is gradually lessening and it's pretty good today.

Rest, girl, rest! Those times of pain need rest and tender care. Love you

That was one of the things David and I shared during our relationship…the trade out on cooking. Every other week was his….he loved to cook and was good at it but could get a little heat happy when it came to peppers. He made a pot of chili once that none of us could eat and it was actually too hot for him, tho he ate it. We had the fire department called on us once for our BBQ fire in the back yard. Not everyone appreciated our real wood fire with the handmade grill that covered it.

I posted that image on my FB group "Cooking for One or Two" and got 415 responses in agreement! LOL…Made me feel better and in good company tho I seriously need to stop wasting my produce!

I have discovered a source for a lot of my pain…apparently the bug gut got my mattress flipped back on the side of the wallowed out spot and I've been in that dip for weeks now. I'll pay someone to come flip it….soon!

I had another sleepless night so slept in until 9-ish once I dropped off. I didn't really want to get up but did. Thank you for the encouragement to rest….and I do…a lot!

Today…I will attempt a few chores…in order to tidy up in case tomorrow is pest patrol day. The new manager doesn't give us the notice with the electric bill.

Have a blessed day….may your joy be sparked!

I don't think I like your new managers very much. They need Jesus in their hearts so they can find some kindness and respect for others. Something to pray about.

Woke with a headache this morning and it's lingering. Time to take some meds. I just took one of my 650 mg Acetaminophen tablets (strong warning not to take more than one every four to six hours; and to think, I've been taking 1500mg to warn off a headache - my arthritis doc was very concerned with that although my NP said that I still wasn't taking the recommended dose for the full day, so it should be fine.) I'll see if it touches the headache with just one and if not I'll take another in two hours, that way there is still some of the first tablet in me!

I did get some walking in yesterday, but my torn gluteus maximus muscle started hurting as did my shoulders and leg, so I quit at around 400 steps. I'm going to try to walk in place and see if that helps - no corners to go around in, and that is what seems to cause the most pain in my leg. I see the arthritis doc on the 11th of this month to see how the new med is working. I think it has started to work, the pain isn't as acute as it used to be and I am praising the Lord for that.

Well, I'm going to get some lunch. I did the chicken pizza crust with pizza sauce, pepperoni and parmesan on top - it was good but definitely needed to be thinner and cooked in the oven!

    Love you

I'd be totally OK if I never have to meet them! I think the owners would be happy kicking us old timers to the curb so they could double the rent and put AI workers in here. Both Abilene and my home town are building the facilities and setting up RV parks for folks as housing is so hard to come by.

That's a good report….to have some relief/tolerance with the new meds. I'd love a few pain free days a week….but no matter what…God is my healer, hope and strength. I am thankful for every day we get!

I finally made some soup. a half pot. Got 4 mice servings. Two are in the fridge. I had 3 smash burger patties and used those, with frozen seasoning blend and veggie blend…so all I had to cut up was 3 small potatoes. Added a box of broth, shredded cabbage, can of tomatoes, pkt. of onion soup mix and the remains of my jar of pasta sauce. It wasn't wonderful….but was highly acceptable and fully appreciated! I think I'll do some cornbread for the rest of it. I hope to do some white bean and kale soup soon. It took me weeks of wanting soup to get this made!
