  • Day 2, Level 1 complete! I'm so loving this actually! Sore muscles and all!

    Day 3, Level 1 complete! Wasn't sure I'd make it today. Had a long, tiring, but very fun day with my son. I essentionally did 3 hours of walking with him for the Christmas Stroll in our town. Was much fun and much worth it. I didn't eat so well (well, there was free candy cane samples and clam chowder and hot chocolate and we went to our favorite candy store, couldn't be helped, it was a spoiling day, lol) but at least I'm making up for it now, lol


    Day 4, level 1 complete. Almost no modifications except push ups and sometimes on all the lunges, but for at least half of them, I can do full lunges.

    Day 5, Level 1: First set of push ups, I did almost all as full push ups. Lunges were still painful. But I was doing full lunges on most of the front ones and some side lunges. Getting there slowly
  • Level 1 of day 3 completed, my knees still hurt even with a rest day yesterday lol. I hope it gets better by friday, that will be a week for me :-)

    I have bad knees so I get that too. it's getting better but if yours are like mine than you will sometimes still have pain

    Day 4 Level 1

    Day 5 Level 1!! Feeling FAB!! Day 3 was the worst, I'm in a groove now. Power thru it!!
  • Wont be shredding tonight. Im way to tired to do anything. I was up most of the night with a teething baby. Poor little guy. : (

    aww, purr little bug! I hope they pop in quick so he won't be in pain anymore

    The first time I tried this dvd my knees hurt bad too. I think it was my form on the side lunges. If your knee goes over your foot then it will cause pain, same wit squats be sure stick your butt out. Hope that helps.



    Completed L1D5 today, shoulders are killing me. Able to do most of advanced moves. Let's keep pushing

    I did it!!! L1D1 is done! I'm a little bit behind the group but still pushing ahead! I'll get measurement and pics done tomorrow, I only had time to do the video tonight and didn't want to put it off another day!!

    Day 5, Level 1 completed yesterday. I'm really sad because I may need to take today as my rest day. I'm working a double so I won't be home until 9pm tonight.
  • Forgot to log yesterday so 12-5 day 4 level 1 and 12-6 day 5 level 1. Ready to move to level 2. Will see what happens tomorrow. Lol

    D2L1....I did with more accuracy hence more breaks....I don't really feeling much soreness (yet)

    wondering if I am pushing myself enough.

    Skipped today....did running instead. First time every ran for 19 minutes non stop...:bigsmile:

    Finished Day 5 Level 1 today and my pants felt looser this morning, even straight out of the dryer!!

    Day 6 level 1 complete this morning. I'm finding it super easy now... I find that the soreness goes away faster if you take a walk afterward. =D keep your fluids up! I'm excited for level 2.

    Haven't logged in a few days (in this thread). I'm all over the board with Jillian. Did level 3 last night, did levels 1 & 2 the night before. Level 1 the first few days before that. Not sure which I'll do tonight, either level 2 or level 3.

    L3D4; i get bored with the same routine over and over so i changed it up! :smile:

    I really did notice the difference from day 1, the cardio has gotten pretty easy to get through.

    And my shoulders don't give out as fast as they used too, even squeezed out two extra pushups. Yay me.


    I think i'm going to try level two again tonight, just to try to make a smooth transition.
  • Took a few days off, no excuses. Back on board. L1/D2 yesterday.
    The lunges are ackward for me, gonna try walking lunges instead of balancing in one place.
    After 2 days I can see definition in my abs :smile:

    Nice job!!!! I so want to be a runner, so this is very inspiring!! I've only done 5k's with walking, then running every few minutes. I would LOVE to run for 19 minutes straight!! I'm sure you burned way more cal doing that vs the 20 min vid.

    Today was Day 4 of Level 1 for me. I did strength training with my workout friend yesterday. I was able to do four real push-ups today!! That is a FIRST. I really wanted to do just one, but I found I could keep going!! The cardio today was much, much easier. My quads and hamstrings were already sore from yesterday, so the squats weren't so fun, but the workout was hardest on my shoulders! My upper body is so weak and I did shoulder circuits yesterday.

    Yeah, I didn't do 30DS this past Sunday and Monday. Why? I have excuses. But yeah, they're just excuses.

    I realize that I have to schedule time for it in the morning after waking up, and before the rest of my daily activities (work, life, etc...). Otherwise, I probably won't be able to log it.

    So, here's to a new day...

    So I FINALLY got my DVD in the mail yesterday!
    So...
    12/06: Day 1 Level 1

    It kicked my booty! I was struggling! My legs were pretty shaky for a while after as well.
