    I am committed too...

    *doing my work out with my personal trainer on Wednesday and finding at least 30 minutes of exercise a day this weekend
    *only asking my hubby one more time to come with me to work out - and then letting it go
    *supporting my sister this weekend in her weekend of hell
    *NOT becoming an emotional eater after spending the last two days with hubby at hospital - and the weekend with my Dad
    *praying daily - and letting God handle things that I cannot

    Wow, you have a lot on your plate & Im rooting for you!

    1) Sticking to my exercise routine, no matter how little disposable time I may have;
    2) cut out dangerous carbohydrates (rices, unless brown rice, pasta, potatoes);
    3) finish cleaning the house;

    I am committed to:

    Starting training for my first Triathlon
    Cleaning out my office so I can put a treadmill in there!
    Riding my bike to and from work on at least 3 days this week.
    Coming back here to review my commitments!

    And I am thinking about starting a Blog on here, but since I am still thinking about it I guess that I am not ready to be committed to it! :embarassed:

    As an anti-exercise enthusiast, I am trying to change my mindset. This week...

    M, T & W I did power walks (40 minutes each at a brisk hurry up and cross the airport before I miss the plane pace).
    Thursday I did Yoga.
    Friday I will do Zumba (broke down and joined my first class last week).

    For the new week I am committed to...

    *coming up with a better gym schedule (Yoga and Zumba)
    *meeting 4000 or more steps per day
    *doing power walks on days I know I'm not going to be moving much
    *doing at least 2 power walks min. regardless
    *reading and researching exactly what types of exercise will benefit me the most and think through a plan

    Making progress! Found a Marine woman friend to meet with me this weekend and give me weight lifting tips. I haven't a clue otherwise.

    So now at minimum I have a cardio, flexibility and now adding a strength part. I'm diving right in!

    After my "END OF MONTH" awesomeness, I intend to get back to the daily exercise and good eating habits. I promise to...

    1) continue my exercise routine...

    2) eat more nutritious foods, getting the calories back up to 1200-1400...

    3) finish cleaning the dining room...

    4) start preparation to do the spring cleaning for my porch...

    Hello to all firstly.

    Second, I am going to start paying attention more to what goes in.
    Maintenance can sometimes get away from me. :grumble:
    3rd, Drink more water, I tend to slack off a bit at times.
    Last but not least, get on-line as much as I can, even if only to log food and exercise.

    OK, in reviewing my commitments from last week I didn't do so well. I did start training, but not as much as I would have liked - the swimming is going to be an issue.
    I did not get the office cleaned out, so the treadmill is not there yet
    Due to weather and illness I only made it one way on three days for the work commute - instead of both
    I did not get back here to review the commitment until today...

    So for THIS week I am committed to:
    Doing all of the things I said I was going to last week - THIS week! AND start the Blog! :)
