Running Help (Pace)
Can anyone share some strategies to change my basic running pace? I did exclusively distance for a while, and now I find myself falling into a slow pace I could keep up for hours every time I quit actively concentrating on pace. Current cadence tends to stay 165ish, so I know that could stand to come up some. Any tips?

Hello all!
I’m new here and to any diet apps. I’m struggling to lose the steroid weight that I gained during chemo. It’s been 1.5 years and the weight keeps going up. I’m not a FB or social media person so this is my outlet.

Back to discipline.
Being overweight has never been what I wanted. I have high expectations, but I’ve been making too many excuses. If you would like to join me on a run or workout let me know. I can provide a safe, secure, comfortable environment to any males/females that avoid running because of unknown dangers. I’m a former combat Marine,…

Anyone currently doing C25K? W4D2
Hi all, I graduated from C25K about 6 years ago and was consistently running 30-40 minutes 3x weekly for a few years. I stopped running and now have to start from scratch (it sucks how quickly you become unfit!). I have 35-40lbs to lose and I'm currently on week 4 day 2. Is anyone else currently doing the program? Feel…

Do you run slow? Then you might be doing it right!
I know some people eschew running because of its impact on the body, especially knees and hips. I have friends that tell me I shouldn't do it because I will inevitably get injured. To be honest, I got out of the habit at some point and will get back into it. I have never been a fast runner. Well, my last two or three years…

Type 2 diabetes and lost over 55 lbs , it’s just the beginning
So far in the last 2 weeks I’ve lost 6 lbs. I’ve cut carbs , eating more vegetables and fruits . I am horrible at running but started to jog two weeks ago and I have not only started a mile nonstop everyday during my lunch, today I hit 7 miles . I see more flab but hope other chocolate fiends or beer drinking people know…

So you want to start running
I see questions about how to get started running pretty much daily here, so I thought I’d put together a bunch of information, all in one place. This will be general, and I’m sure that pretty much every point made here could be argued about on some level, but for beginners, this will all remain true. This is information to…

Distance runner with goals!
I doubt anyone will read this lol but I’d love some new friends that are runners too! I’ve been trying to qualify for the Boston marathon for 4 years now and I’ve come so close every time. I’ve broken both of my tibias twice, I’ve had a baby and recovered and got back running, and I struggle with 3 autoimmune diseases…

Running Tips?
Hi, I’m Kiwi. I’m a 24 year old female who works at a desk job for 8 hours a day. Since I’ve worked at this job, I’ve gained 32lbs making me 282lbs now. I’ve decided I want to start running for cardio, just to slim down. Is there a method to the madness? How do you run and not get tired? Is a “runner’s high” a real thing?…

A second start
Greetings everyone. I was in the best shape of my life from 39-42 and a combination of Covid, mental health triggers, medication adjustments, addiction and depression put me back to, not square one, but down a few pegs on my fitness journey. I’m 46 now, running again, and using this app to remind me that I still have…

Hip/thigh stretches for runners? Or exercises?
After a few years of running with zero stretching (yes, bad, I know  ) I'm starting to get some minor complaints. Not while running, but in daily life. My hips can be a bit stiff (especially my right side) and my range of motion is quite poor. My squat depth is ludicrous without propping my heels up. Butterfly pose…
