So I've signed up to a charity challenge and I am back at C25K again, I'm in pi55 poor shape and 20kg heavier than last time, what could go wrong?! 😂
I've just started week 1 day 1 today and was wondering if anyone else started this month.
I've just completed Day 1 of Week 2 this evening, I'm finding it ok so far, nervous (but also excited) about the later weeks when there are longer intervals of running. I'm doing reasonably well at pacing myself so far so it'll be interesting to see if I can modify it for longer stints.
So, me and my other half tried couch to 5K the other week as something that we could do together. My partner is quite fit as he has an active job however moi (the desk jockey) was absolutely HOPELESS. So there he was trotting away while I couldn't even finish the 1 minute runs. Is anyone else using Strava? I started using Strava in wk 7, and run it alongside the C25K app on my phone (I run the warm up and cool down). I have found that it more accurately logs distance vs time, and gives you an average pace for your run as well as a pace per km. It also records elevation and interval times. So…
