I'm going to test out the theory that it takes 3-weeks to break a habit by committing to not eating after dinner, hopefully with the help of any like-minded/similar goal people. Checking in to say I successfully watched TV late into the night without snacking last night. Day 1 down!
Last night I ate more after ten in the evening than I did all day long and it was a frenzy. I was just under my 1300 calories intake for the day, next thing I know 1500 calories in less than two hours. I am very disappointed in inability to break this habit I have struggled with night feeding for as long as I can remember…
Hey guys, for those of you who slip up and eat at say 2/3am...what do you do the next day? As in, eat as normal, eat when you're hungry, or wait til it's been 8/12/16 etc hours from when you last ate? As I've been reading that you should fast for around 12 to 16 hours overnight. What do you think?
Some people like encouragement to be given nicely, I like to be told firmly. Does that make sense? I tell my husband, don't tell me I've been doing so good when I tell you I feel like snacking (cause it makes me feel like I can reward myself); instead, just tell me "don't do it, you'll regret it tomorrow" or something…
Dare I say it? My issue is sipping on that after dinner wine or the cocktail that started before dinner becomes the cocktail that keeps getting sharpened up after.
