Search help
I started a thread about Searching, intended it to just be about your stories or feelings, etc. And I have read some great stories there! I thought it might be nice to have another area for people to post suggestions or things that worked for them in their search. If you have done a search and were successful: Where were…

Just doing a mental health check in on my adoptive world
I see there’s been no discussion in a long time. I just want to let everyone know, no matter what side(s) of the story you are on. I am thinking of you and hope you’re healing well in your life long journey. ❤️
RAD anyone?
Is anyone familiar with Reactive Attachment Disorder? I'm starting to learn about it and wonder how common it is. I belong to a RAD facebook group and it seems to be quite common but maybe because it's all I read concerning foster care/adoption.
Searching
Have you been involved in any kind of search, be it for a birth parent, or child you gave up for adoption? What was the outcome?
Where were you born?
And where do you live now? I was born in South Korea. I came to US when I was 5 months old and raised in Vermont!

Our baby is nine months old and he came to us through domestic infant adoption when he was just a day old. We have an open adoption with…

Korean adoptees create shows about their experiences
http://www.twincities.com/entertainment/ci_20701467/korean-adoptees-create-shows-about-their-experiences They couldn't complete a family tree like the other kids in grade school. They were mistaken for exchange students. They have to leave sections blank on medical history forms during visits to the doctor.…
Anyone new in here?
What's going on people?!!
Why does this need to be mentioned?
This is a dumb news story about Tom and Nicole's kids. But it bugs me because they just HAVE to say "their adopted son Connor". They can't just say "their son", they have to put a qualifier on it. You can look at him and know he isn't their biological son, so to what purpose is this needed? Yea, it's a dumb thing to be…
