I started a thread about Searching, intended it to just be about your stories or feelings, etc. And I have read some great stories there! I thought it might be nice to have another area for people to post suggestions or things that worked for them in their search. If you have done a search and were successful: Where were…
I'm sure I will miss some, so feel free to add. Here is a site to access more terms: http://library.adoption.com/articles/helpful-adoption-terms-to-know.html Adoptee - one who was/is adopted Bparent - birth parent, a child's biological parent Aparent - adoptive parent
I would like to keep things pretty open, all I ask is that you respect one another. No judgments allowed. Below are the site rules, otherwise I will be very lenient in moderating. I see there’s been no discussion in a long time. I just want to let everyone know, no matter what side(s) of the story you are on. I am thinking of you and hope you’re healing well in your life long journey. ❤️

What's going on people?!!
This is a dumb news story about Tom and Nicole's kids. But it bugs me because they just HAVE to say "their adopted son Connor". They can't just say "their son", they have to put a qualifier on it. You can look at him and know he isn't their biological son, so to what purpose is this needed? Yea, it's a dumb thing to be…
